I cannot imagine song doing this song justice, particulary the last 1/3 of the song. Odd, considering you wrote the following: Quote Scott is a brilliant frontman. His vocals are awesome live, even on the GN'R songs, I thought his vocals were perferctly suited to Mr Brownstone. Title: Re: Velvet Revolver setlists from the 15th n' 16th of April Post by: badapple81 on April 22, 2007, 03:25:31 AM He did an awesome job of Brownstone, his vocals and his range are suited to the song :peace:
As I said, I can't imagine Scott singing the last third of the song. Theyre going to have to play this song one of these days. are you kidding me? no disrespect to Scott, but he doesn't have the pipes for that song. It jus doesn't suit him at all. Mr Brownstone he can handle. doing justice too is it another thing, but i digress. thats why matt only plays the intro Title: Re: Velvet Revolver setlists from the 15th n' 16th of April Post by: badapple81 on April 22, 2007, 04:52:29 AM That's exactly what I mean. His vocals and range just isn't for YCBM. Easy, Brownstone and Used To Love Her were good, he did a very good job on those : ok:
Title: Re: Velvet Revolver setlists from the 15th n' 16th of April Post by: Demon Wolf on April 22, 2007, 07:20:13 AM His voice is more suited for the dark tone of those songs. I can't even imagine him singing Out Ta Get Me, Nightrain, You Could Be Mine or any GNR-song with a wider range of vocal tones.
