Title: Mexico Cancelled Too? MEXICAN ARTICLE Post by: MotherGooseLuvR on April 20, 2007, 01:17:47 PM I don't speak Spanish, so maybe someone else can translate.? But does this article say that the Mexican dates in the Chinese Democracy World Tour have been cancelled too?
http://cucharasonica.com/2007/04/19/guns-n-roses-cancela-mexico/ Guns N? Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? Post by: IndiannaRose on April 20, 2007, 01:24:45 PM It says that all Mexican Guns N' Roses tour dates have been cancelled.
Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? Post by: snakepipero on April 20, 2007, 01:25:01 PM if this is official source i don't know what to think, Los shows de junio se han cancelado, quedan casi dos meses co?o, como cojones cancelan esto tambi?n!!!
Well, i wish the best for axl but i don't think everything is bein' said by them, something wrong is happenin (well, has been hapenin' over the last ten years) and i don't believe the injury from the bass player bein' the fact of this, that's only my point of view Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? from an online translator Quote Guns N? Roses cancels Mexico Apparently Axl Rose not only has the talent to pospone a album ten years if not that also find innovative ways to cancel concerts and sometimes whole tours. Guns N? Roses has cancelled just confirmed dates for Mexico in the month of June. It is alleged that this is due to an injury suffered in the hand of the bassist Tommy Stinson, reason by which several concerts are cancelled. Luckyly still the presale of entrances of this concert did not begin. If some of the concerts reagenda we will stay them informed in Sonic Spoon. Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? Post by: GNRreunioneventually on April 20, 2007, 01:50:32 PM It says that all Mexican Guns N' Roses tour dates have been cancelled. :'( ?:crying:  FUCK!!!!!!! why is this happening why the fuck can't they get a replacement for Tommy? just a temp nothing more. What happened to "the show must go on"? Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? MEXICAN ARTICLE Post by: estebanf on April 20, 2007, 01:58:19 PM Quote Guns N? Guns N' Roses cancels Mexico It seems that Axl Rose not only is talented to postpone a studio album for more than ten years, but he also finds new ways to cancel shows and, sometimes, even full tours. Guns N' Roses has cancelled the recently confirmed dates in Mexico for June. It is claimed that this is because of an injury suffered by bassist Tommy Stinson, reason why several shows were cancelled. Luckily, the pre-sale for these shows hadn't started. If any of these shows is re-scheduled, ''Sonic Cockroach'' will inform you Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? Axl's already given you two Chinese Democracy World Tours.? Can't you just be happy about that? I thought it was just one big-ass tour, with long-ass breaks in between. MEXICAN ARTICLE Post by: killingvector on April 20, 2007, 03:14:51 PM An official word is needed if the entire tour is shelved.
Perhaps Tommy's injury is worse than previously announced. A fracture for example usually takes months of recovery, not just a few weeks. Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? MEXICAN ARTICLE Post by: superloconoriega on April 20, 2007, 03:21:29 PM That site is as unreliable as blabbermouth and antimusic. They got NO SOURCES and probably one of their so called reporters saw the discussion at mygnr or here and assumed the shows were cancelled. Until esmas.com (the only big and reliable news site, and also the official site of the company that owns OCESA, the promoters of the show) reports it, its not official
I repeat, not official (YET) Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? MEXICAN ARTICLE Post by: axlroses on April 20, 2007, 03:24:29 PM mysteron do you have any info that would clarify the situation at all?

MEXICAN ARTICLE Post by: BetoRose on April 20, 2007, 05:49:40 PM I just call www.superboletos.com, 01 800 BOLETOS (calling from Mexico), they toll me concert is not cancelled and ticket are still on sale. They also mention that cancelled dates are only for Japan and SA,... I guess this give a little hope.. but to be honest, very very little..
Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? MEXICAN ARTICLE Post by: BurningHills on April 20, 2007, 05:52:38 PM Hopefully the next "official" update contains the phrase "the album will be released on...."

I guess this give a little hope.. but to be honest, very very little.. gees they aren't accurate. only the sa dates were canceled as those were festivals and japan concerts are being rescheduled. Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? MEXICAN ARTICLE Post by: sjgotnitro on April 20, 2007, 06:25:33 PM Well I really hope that is the case.
Still it is ashame there is no safety mechanism to update the site or get these things taken care of when they arise. Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? MEXICAN ARTICLE Post by: estebanf on April 20, 2007, 07:04:07 PM Hopefully the next "official" update contains the phrase "the album will be released on...." That would be the greatest escape to this situation. A release date at this point could be providential. I hope you're right man, I really hope Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? MEXICAN ARTICLE Post by: Mr.Intensity on April 21, 2007, 01:30:12 PM This tour delay might be a good thing, finish the fucking album already. Save the "greatest hits" tour blended with 5 new tracks for 1-2 months before the release. That side of the world plus Mexico does deserve to get to see what a lot of us seen over here in the U.S last year .. so about 1-2 months before release make up all these cancelled tour dates, then upon the release start an actual real "Chinese Democracy" tour. : ok:
Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? MEXICAN ARTICLE Post by: November_Rain on April 21, 2007, 01:35:24 PM I?m Spanish and this article is just another sourceless piece of bullshit. It basicaly bashes Axl ( surprise !!) and says the Mexico gigs have been cancelled but it gives any proof nor source to back the info. I bet it?s just false.
Title: Re: Mexico Cancelled Too? MEXICAN ARTICLE Post by: GnR-NOW on April 21, 2007, 01:45:11 PM I don't think they can say this will be cancelled because of Tommys injury because the show is more then a month away. Right now ... who knows? But until its official I wouldn't worry too much.
