Title: GD covered by GNR on TSI releasing a cover of another song covered by GNR on TSI
Post by: Danny on April 05, 2007, 10:59:07 PM
Since there's no real news going on around here, I though I would just bring up this psuedo-oddity.  The Glenn Danzig classic (in the form of The Misfits) of "Attitude" was famously covered by GNR (with Duff on vocals) on The Spaghetti Incedent.  Apparently, at one point Glenn Danzig (in the form of Danzig) covered a completely different song that was also covered on The Spaghetti Incedent by GNR...and now THIS cover is about to be released on a "Danzig Lost Tracks" double CD due out next month.  The T-Rex tune "Buick McKane" is covered by Danzig and is rumored to be on this upcoming release.  You know what this means?  This means nothing, I guess.

Yeah this was around Danzig III I think when he recorded Buick McKane.  I've been waiting on this cd for a long damn time.....after Danzig 4p, the franchise really went a little stale once he replaced Eerie, Chuck and John.  The original band was so raw.
