Fuck i dreamt or something :-\

I inserted CD and axl started singin along with a half acustick ( in between el. guitar and unplugged guitar) guitar. He sang with since i dont' have you- voice.

It's funny as hell cause the chords was clear (not blurred as in dreams)\ the sound was clear and his voice was clear but i don't remeber any words (maybe it is till in progress).

It has really great chord changes but stops early. Some effect developes and...

ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE

This is where i get aware of consiousness

It means nothing to me (and you i guess) but it's real funny and i will remember this when cd is in my hand.

If my dream comes true i will be scared shitless :nervous:

I had a funny dream once...

I went to buy Chinese Democracy in the stores, and it was raining a lot. It was a triple CD, and it was hard to go with it at home...

Then, I stopped in the way to play basketball with some friends, and when I got CD back it was very very wet. I woke up when I was going home.

Another thing I remember is that was a song in there called "2,5"... the cover was red... just it... ?:smoking:

Wow! Had an awesome dream this morning ... the new GN'R video was on t.v. ... it was called "F@#k" ... Axl had a guitar and at one stage was wearing a top hat until he looked straight at the camera & tossed it aside (with a hint of a grin) ... the song was very cool but only went for about a minute and a half ... it was "Oh My God"-ish and the video looked like a million dollar one ... the dream was very vivid and I remember waking up very excited.

I was playing with my band... after the show, a girl came to me, she was very hot and looked like 20 years old, she asked me "You look like Axl with this bandana ( I use it a lot ) , do you like to do some adventure?" I thou, "well, at least I will have some sex tonight!" ( she was there with 2 girls )
We took a trip, in 5 seconds, I was in some kind of studio ( a big one ), I asked her "Where we are?" , she answer me "My father is shooting a video, but dont tell anybody" ... "well, who?s you father?" , she: "there he is..." poiting to him, me: "OH MY GOD, AXL ROSE!?!" , she: "Yeah, wanna talk to him?"
well, I dont remember what we talked about, but he told me that the album will be released with a dvd, 2 video-clips, a password to the new guns n roses site and some kind of ticket to a big concert in those countries that will promote some kind of trip to see the band live...
I wake up and start to think about this... this total silence of the band, maybe they are preparing something like "well, if you dont buy the original cd, you wont have all this shit" , and I thou that it could be a huge promotion and kill those fuckers trying to sell fake cds... dont you think?

I had one the other night, I don't remember the exact circumstances, but there was something on tv, and there was someone (don't know who), who had an envelope, like at awards shows, and was slowly pulling the piece of paper out, with the crowd going nuts, and when he pulled it out, it said "Chinese Democracy - June 20th" And I remember being so freakin' hyped, like "OMG! It's finally happening!!!" And damn I was so pissed when I woke up...

Damn I've been drinkin some bEAM TONIGHT AND MY GIRLS PISSED AT ME.  Fuck I accidently hit caps lock button, that messes things up huh?  Anyway I had a dream Axl had a special Welcome to the Jungle perfomance with the band that sings I believe in a thing called love.  What the hell??!! I'm not even a fan of them.  Anyway he had straigh hair again (like it really matters what his hair looks like) and sung his ass off.  He then put up the CD release date and gave EVERYONE in the crowd a copy.  He then went into "This I Love" and said "This is the song I've been building up all these years, hope ya appreciate it fuckers!!!".

The song went on for over 10 minutes and blew everyone away....

I had a dream that the new GNR was doing a live TV concert.  They started with Welcome To The Jungle and It's So Easy, but then Kid Rock came out and he and Axl started singing Metallica's St. Anger.  Then I woke up.

That's what I call nightmare  :P.
Anyway, the only thing I've seen in my dreams has nothing to do with Chinese Democracy, I saw Axl in keyboards telling me to play something (he was wearing the white-numbered 80 t-shirt), I played something that was really good, although I don't remember the music, usually happens in dreams.
(Notice that I've no idea about playing stuff like piano or keaboards :hihi:).

This is an old dream.

I had been drinkin' with my friends, before I went to bed. So this drinkin' really messed up my dream. I had dream that I was drinkin with the GN'R guys(witch included Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy & Matt. I don't know where Dizzy was).

 So in the morning I was still a bit "confused" what actually happend last night. Well of course I immediately assumed I've been drinkin' with GN'R guys. So I woke-up my friend from the kitchen's floor and said to him: "Where's the guys...Axl...Slash...?"

Then he brought me back to earth with such a kind words: "WTF? go back to sleep moron" Then I realized. Shit...That was a dream. But about 1min, I really tought I've been drinkin' with GN'R!!! :beer:

I have this recurring dream where I go shopping in HMV, and every single cd in the shop is ChiDem, and its a box set that comes with a free bandana and a subscription to a magazine that Axl has started. I buy this box-set ChiDem (obviously! What else would I do, leave it there for some other person to buy!?) and I go straight home to listen to it. I put it in my cd player, and it starts with the beginning of Madagascar, but then it makes that weird rewindy sound and starts playing Estranged. I take out the cd, and its UYI 2, not ChiDem. I turn to look at the box "ChiDem" came in, and its not that at all. The front cover just says April FOOLS!!! Then I look at my calendar, and its all blurry, but there's a definite letter B at the beginning of the month word, and no month name starts with the letter B, so I get really confused. And then I turn around, upset, pissed off, and confused beyond belief, and Axl is sitting on my Reading Armchair reading my Band That Time Forgot book.
And that's when reality comes crashing down on my head like a dying wildebeest and I wake up.
The first few times I woke up from the dream I was seriously confused, and I had to look at my calendar to make sure that there weren't actually any months beginning with the letter B... XD
Ha, and Axl in my room! I wish! Stuff like that only happens in dreams! XD

I had this cool GN'R dream that Axl did a duet with John Rzeznik from the goo goo dolls weird combination Axl welcomed John on to the stage and they did I song called Border Line Of The Milkway I can only remember Axl doing a scream and Richard Fortus doing a moving bluesy guitar solo.

I had a dream axl invited me over for thanksgiving supper. When i got there earl, his mom, brother and sister were all there too. No one had heard anything off of Chinese Democracy yet and axl kept teasing us saying things like "wait i've got to carve the turkey.... make sure you eat all your pea's"

So we kept waiting. Eventually he put on like 30 seconds of one song. Everyone thought it was great. but axl shut it off right away and threw a fit because we weren't jumping around going estatic. Then a killer jumped through the window and started shooting at everyone... luckily I made it of the house... then i woke up,,,,

one dream that i did have that inv' gnr was that i dreamt I saw an article in  the newspaper about them, and then the next mornin, my dream came true.

I was holding Chinese Democracy in my hands (don't ask how it looked like, it had mainly red color  :beer: )
Also I heard the intro of the first song. It wasn't any of those we've heard. You know dreams... you don't remember too much (sound, colors) but I remember how nicely I felt when I heard the music.

my gn'r dreams are fuckin' nightmares! i have this dream where i'm going to the gig and i get stopped in the door for beeing under age even tho i'm not. it's that, or i'm too drunk so they won't let me in, and when i finally get in, they eighter don't show or i wake up as i hear the first teaze of the oh so familiar jungle intro...

i also had a dream where i was about to meet axl to do an interview, but i fell of the roof where the interview was supposed to take place so that didn't ever work out eighter...  :nervous:

most of my GN'R dreams are the same, its always a huge venue, the new band are playing and it only me in the crowd.

Apart from one dream i had where Guns was franchised and all over the world there was Guns N' Roses in every country. I went N' saw the Australian GN'R and the Axl for this band was a chick. So after the show i went backstage N' met em and i spoke to "Axl" chick.

Back to reality, the next night I went out with some friends N i was talking to this chick N' she introduced me to her friend that was the "Axl" in the Australian Guns N' Roses.

I had a dream a couple months ago where I was walking through this park and for some reason there wasnt many people there and as I walked over by these soda machines there was a big screen tv in the park and on it was Axl singing a song I had never heard of before. He also had his normal hair and was doing his infamous 'snake walk' while singing. As I was standing there watching it, I had this incredible sense of peace of mind. It was one of those dreams that i'll never forget.

(sorry, but like I said in my earlier post... my other dream was recurring... I KEEP having it... until last night!)
OK, in my NEW dream, I'm at my local shopping mall, and its COMPLETELY empty except for me and the shopkeepers. Anyhoo, I'm walking towards HMV or Virgin Megastores... can't remember which though, and bandanas keep falling in front of me! I look up to see who's throwing them, and its Axl... only he's wearing Slash's hat, Duff's leather pants and suspenders things, Izzy's waistcoat, and he's holding drumsticks... Anyhoo, I wave up at him, and he throws more bandanas down, and they're all forest green, and then he flies down, takes off the hat, and throws it as hard as he can away from him, and it frisbees around and lands on a hatstand in a nearby hatshop. I look back at Axl, and the cop hat is on his head along with the aviators. I then fall over (although at this point I can only tell because my viewpoint makes everything sideways), and it doesn't hurt, but then there's this pain in my foot, and then it goes away because SOMEONE is rubbing my foot.... and WearingEveryone'sClothes!Axl is now WTTJVideo!Axl along with the floofy hair. And I become very aware that music is playing in the background, and it sounds like nothing I've ever heard before... but the voice singing is DEFINITELY Axl's... and before I can get any lyrics remembered, I woke up. And Tan, (my boyfriend) was hugging me, because apparantly I was twitching, about to fall off the bed, and singing the "where do we go now" part of SCOM.

i had a dream once: i saw axl singing (only axl & me)... i said: "axl, i love you!"... he did go out! :crying:

I said, oh no ! sign on the tissue ! I think he didn't like me at first because I was being akward , but then I told him how much I loved madagascar and he smiled and told me something like "nahh, you're just saying that to be nice" But I insisted and told him no ! -when the martin luther king quotes come up and there's this guitar solo going peeeeeee teeeeeeeeeee weeeeeeeeeeee (I was singing the solo) and you go oh I won't be told anymore = that's awesome ! " so He said thanks and gave me back my tissue , I gave him a handshake and got out of there, when I opened the tissue there was a few cartoons of myself that he had made while we were talking, he was making fun of me with the cartoons as I was portrayed as being all goofy, then I thought cool ! but how am I ever gonna prove AXL did this cartoon if he didn't sign it !!!? >:( I even thought about going to this website and tell you people about it but then I thought, nah, they will call me a liar for sure!

I had a dream the night after the Super Bowl, which I didn't watch. Anyway, Axl announced on Feb 6th that Chinese Democracy would be released (no date given). A roomate, who hasn't lived with us since he stole my bank card and cleaned out the accunt, had stolen a copy from somewhere. He was a thief, he stole the album, made perfect sense. The album jewel case was oddly shaped, like a hexagon and all the songs were on the back. The first track had all the lyrics printed on the back before it listed what the 2 track was. The 2nd track was "the Blues" by the way. I wanted to burn myself a copy, but my roommate wouldn't let me until after he was done work (hahaha, he never had  a job in real life). I was thinking about coming on here to let you guys know I had a copy of the CD and to let you know what it sounded like and everything like that. Then I realized, none of you would ever believe me and I was thinking of ways to prove it. (Aside: See? That's how evil you all are. I've never really spoken to anyone on here, but even my subconscious mind is worried about whether or not you'll believe me.)

At some point during the dream, I listened to one of the songs, or at least, part of one. The only thing I can remember about it was that Axl really, really sounded like Jim Morrison.

I had a dream once that Axl came storming in my front room of an old house I used to live in.  I was standing there, hadn't showered, looked like crap, and he came right up to me and hugged me ( areally nice, hard one) I resisted cause I was so affraid but I eventually let it go, I lost all feeling in my knees and they let go,  He kissed me gently on my neck and it was so beautiful.  I remember he smelt good! Very sexy dream!

He let go and went to walk out and I asked him not to go but he left anyway.  I ran to the bathroom and looked in the mirror and couldn't believe what had just happened...Other parts of the dream after are too fuzzy to share but it felt very real!  It was very nice!
too bad I couldn't make it last.

I had a dream like last year and me Slash, Izzy and Duff were playing Double Talkin' Jive, but the music wasn't actually DTJ? it was weird. Izzy n' Duff were singing and playing acoustics, Slash was playin' a Les Paul and I was playing a Spanish guitar, there? was drums too but no drummer. Axl wasn't there either.? :(? I can't remember what the music sounded like. Thats one of the only Gn'R dreams Ive ever had, Ive had others when I was at concerts N' stuff, but this one was special.

I had my 2nd CD dream last night. Want to here it?

I had it (CD) in my hands, it was like a NIN cd cover, made of soft card (rather than a plastic box). The colour was black and on the front was the image of a melting face, the face looked like a pig?s face (what ever that means?). It was a static image, is was melting and moving in and out of focus (I could almost touch it). The weirdest part was when I opened the cover. On the left sat 1 Cd and on the right there was room for a 2nd cd. I thought it (1 of the cd's) was missing? I had been short changed. Then I looked closer, there were words. The words implied that the spare space (on the right) was there for a reason, as the a 2nd disc would become available in the future (so CD was going to be released in 2 parts?).

And in case you were sondering, nope  i didn't play the cd, damn!!!  ;D

I am in Europe, and i love it when i remember dreams. I don't dream often, but when i do, they are always so vivid. Like everyone else, i don't remember all of them (dreams). Normally i'll get a quick flash (glimse) of a past dream and from that one section of a dream i can normally put the rest though  :o

all right... time for me to fess up
i've had the following GN'R related dreams over the course of the past few/several years:

1) dreamt i was at msg watching GN'R show - this was before msg was even announced or before i did go there.
    in my dream i was sitting on the upper right side.  when i went i was front of stage 2nd row left side
    in the dream i was in awe of the beauty of the music
    in real life at msg i was brought to tears by KOHD

2)  dreamt I saw Axl/Axl saw me at Herald Square in NYC.  we were across the street from eachother.. me on the north west corner of 34th st. (macy*s corner) and
     Axl on the north east corner of 34th.   we waved at eachother.   this was before i traveled to nyc to see gnr at msg. 
     the hotel room i ended up getting was 4 blocks from this corner/location.

3)  dreamt of being at an outdoor arena seeing GN'R...   seemed to be the same venue i had went to to see Ozzfest... Coral Sky Amphitheatre in west palm beach
     after the show i was among many fans behind a chain link fence watching from the band pass on the way out of the venue.
      in the dream i said something directed to Axl and he replied.  this dream was before the gnr show was scheduled for west palm beach at this same venue - now
       known as the Sound Advice Amphitheatre.  (the show was amongst those cancelled on the 02 tour)

not saying i have/had any premonitions... as i am from new york city it is logical that i would imagine seeing gnr there.. and likewise imagine seeing axl nearby...
and likewise in florida having been to the outdoor arena in west palm beach - then imagined seeing GN'R there

I had a dream a few days ago, I was in the 1st round stage of American Idol singing "November Rain" I did a backflip and Randy Jackson said, "Dude you rock!" ah, dreams...

I had a dream last night that a single was released and Axl was on the cover. He had short hair, was slim and looked really freaky, possessed looking - grinning evily....
The song was really bizarre, really demented sounding..
The dream itself, was quite disturbing....

My GNR dream was of being at a concert, in some huge dark venue, and being really near the stage. I wandered off to the side stage area, and there was a crappy wooden table, the folding kind, like at community centers and stuff, with a DJ station, and i got to open this big black binder, with like 4 cd's a page, and listen to a ton of new music, while the band played 'Madagascar'. Later after the song, Axl came over to the table and started collecting the music, and I begged him to let me keep some, That I wouldnt show anybody or anything. I remember he treated me kinda rudely and laughed in my face, and took the binder away.

I had a dream last night. I was walking around a futuristic looking city. People started pointing up to the sky. I looked up, and there was this big black thing, like a rod or something. It was stretching itself across the sky. Eventually it stopped, and produced an image. It was a news report. "Chinese Democracy is coming" Then a clock came up, and it was counting down. I went nuts. I started running. I don't know why. I kept looking up at different billboards, and the clock was getting closer and closer to zero. Eventually I wound up on a rooftop. There were a few people milling about. No one was really sure what was going on. There was this huge line of bodyguards just standing there. Somehow I was the only one who knew what was happening. I started screaming and yelling and going insane. People kept coming out to talk to the crowd, dropping hints about what was going on. For a moment I thought I was wrong, and it was something else. Then, out comes Axl. He starts singing........Welcome to the Jungle??!!?? I'm confused. Then he sings Madagascar, and one other song. He says something, and then leaves. I was crushed. I swore the album was coming out, and all it was was some sort of ploy, and nothing more. God was I depressed when I woke up. I wonder if my brain was trying to tell me something???

I had a dream a few days ago where I was at a concert, a gnr concert, 2005, album just came out and they are touring Europe. The show was great, a lotta new songs, 90% new songs me thinks and at the end of the show I start crying, crying because I just waited fourteen years for one album. Fourteen years of waiting, and I thought to myself "Was it really worth all this time?" When I woke up I had tears running down my face.

You should make a song about that dream you could call it.... 14 Years? ;D

Since forever. That's just the way it is. If 4000 something members started putting pics in their signature, it would waste a significant amount of bandwidth.

In addition to that, it's a problem because some people will think having a desktop wallpaper as a signature is a good idea. It's easier to say "No graphics" than to PM a few hundred members telling them they need to resize their signatures.

Hello! I know this sounds a terrible post and will probably get moved! But just in case it comes true I wanted to share it with you all, and for anyone who reads my posts generally would know I am not just doing to be childish or wind people up! Last night I had the most vivid dream that today the 21st June would be the day that we got the news on the release date of the album I know that dreams are a load of old bollocks and anyone could have a dream about something like this, but it was just so fucking vivid that it seemed weird! So if today is the day that we have all been waiting for and I did actually dream it then like I said earlier I just wanted to share it with fellow guns fans!

It's kinda extremely weird that you are saying all this, it really caught my eye. ?I truely believe in meanings to dreams, I whole-heartidly believe vivid dreams are dreamt for a reason, when they feel soooo real. ?I, too, have vivid dreams an believe in them as crazy as they are. ?It's really ironic, an I dont think it's a coinsidence that you say the 21st because that number is something that has stuck out in my mind this year, never pertaining to June though, the date August 21 has been on the front of my mind. ?This past year, Ive had extremely vivid dreams of meeting Axl at concerts. ?So maybe we're on to something. ?Also, in dreams, a lot of times they arent to be taken litteral, but to find the underlying meaning an clues, if you will, to as to what they are ?trying to say. ?So maybe we wont hear the release date today, but maybe June represents a time of preperation an maybe the 21 represents a big day to come. ?But you are right about thinking the album will come out this year, I would bet 99% it is, an if not, the timing will perfect. ? :love:

you know what is weired i had a dream last week that i had the album in my hands but was not a normal album it was a book with picture and wrighting in it and at the bach of the book it had two cd's damm i should have read it first before poping in cd. let me tell you one thing it kicked ass but did not have anything we have heard yet.

Well, just last night I dreamt I was driving around with my friend and CD had just come out that day. I remember holding the disc on my hand and thinking: "The bastard's finally here!"  ;D

The opening track was CD, and the guitars sounded way more powerful than anything you'd hear on the soundboards. It had a lot more energy to it and I remarked how Axl must've tinkered the hell out of it after the '02 tour. Next up was This I Love, which sounded cool, quite a slow track actually. I would've also liked to hear The General before waking up, though.

Last night I had a dream that I was in Wal-Mart, and they were selling jeans.  I looked at the tag, and they were called "Bucketjeans", and you got a free CD by Buckethead when you bought a pair.  It even had a picture of him without the mask.  He looked like a model for Abercrombie & Fitch.  Weird...must have had too much KFC for dinner... :)

I always have intense an vivid dreams of them in concert.  An always a strong soul connection between me an Axl.  Last dream I had with him in it, it was their first concert back as the new band, an somehow I got to the front row, an Axl  came off stage after the first song to meet the people in the VIP area an as he walked passed me he looked at me kinda funny, as if he knew me.  Then I turned away as he hugged some girl fans, then he said my name, an I was like oh mygosh how does he know my name?!  And the reason why he knew my name was because he previous dreamt of me somehow before ever knowing me, everytime I dreamt of him- he dreamt of me.  Then he hugged and kissed me and said "Ive missed you"

Weird huh?! I always have dreams like that with him.  Where we lock eyes an it's as if Im really looking at him in real life, and we're together.  One time, we were backstage in my dream, an he came back to see me before the next song, an we said 'I love You' hugged/kissed because we were married.  In my dreams we always are a couple, or about to be one.

Always intense, always vivid, always real, and always very intimate :-* :o ;)

I had a dream that I was a mutual friend of all the original band. And got Axl and Slash and Duff friends again but none of the others wanted to be friends anymore so the members of the new band and the members of the old band that didn't want to get back together formed their own band with some singer fella that doesn't actually exist. And Axl, Slash and Duff got a new Rhythm guitarist and a new drummer and went on tour and I went up on stage with em to sing some of their songs with em at every gig.

A new release and a tour that  was  not canceled before it reached my city.

Chinese Democracy debuts at number one, with all hit singles released from it. Then GNR world tour. Then they release there next two albums within the next 3 yrs.  :peace:

Last Halloween , I  dreamed I saw? Axl Rose? at a concert in my high school , he was singing "Monster Mash" and playing the piano ,like for November Rain he had girls for back-up singers for the lines like "They did the mash" and "Wah Ooooooo."

Last night I had a dream that out of nowhere Axl released a solo album, that was just him singing and playing guitar and piano, there was no announcement or anything, it was just there. Anyways, then, in my dream, I went to see him playing live, and I was right at the front, literally touching the stage, anyway just as he was starting the first song, he said Chinese Democracy starts now, and the wall at the back of the stage lifted up and Richard, Tommy etc. ran out and started playing the song Chinese Democracy, and then I woke up.

I had one about a year ago.
I was watching tv with my dad(also a GN'R/Axl fan),when a commercial for the release of Chinese Democracy aired...Axl looked liked he did in the Dead Horse music video,with the blue bandanna,but Buckethead,and the rest of the current line up(at the time)looked like they do....It also had new music featured in it....I remember waking up thinking,wow that music sounded awsome,but couldn't really remember what it was about.

I had one last night.
I dreamt that I was watching the current Big Brother, and they made Axl a guest HouseMate. It was actually really funny because Saskia tried to flirt with him but he said something like "No way! You're an ugly bitch and you are completely fake!" and then he punched her, and then got into a fight with Maxwell and beat him to a bloody pulp. Then Kemal was like "Oh my god! You are so FABULOUS!" and then for some reason Orlaith and Anthony turned into sheep. All through this it plays like a typical BB episode with the commentator dude saying what's going on over the top, but with Get In The Ring playing in the background.

Oh, and then the Big Brother voice asks Saskia to go to the diary room to tell her that because of her obvious attention seeking behavior, she can no longer take part in Big Brother and she has half an hour to pack her bags and get out.

The phone rings, and I am asked to be a secret HouseMate along with a few other people as a replacement for Saskia.
I go there and it turns out the other secret HMs are Slash, Duff, Izzy, Steven, and the last one is my boyfriend: Tan.

Somehow we all end up being official HMs, and constant bitching about Saskia unfolds, a fort is built out of beds as a random task but they are not taken down, and in the fort, fights happen between Axl and Slash, but then because everyone else is there, they make them be friends again, and officially, Gn'R get back together. Live on TV.

There is also a rebellion against the ban on music talk, and constantly, all the HMs sing Gn'R songs all day and all night in the fort. Except for Maxwell because he's still pissed off about Saskia being asked to leave. He becomes a Gollum like figure, not saying anything to anyone, staying in his corner of the fort, and only coming out to get food and water. Coincidentally, we beat him up again.



Heh, I know this is a really weird dream, but I have actually been watching BB lately, and this is what I wish would happen. It would make it really awesome! :thumbsup:

   It finally happened.  After almost 2 years of posting here, I had a very vivid GNR dream.  For some reason it involved me getting the opportunity to visit the band as they were hanging out in their gigantic convertible trailer.  It had no ceiling, but it was the depth of a triple-wide mobile home, and 3 or 4 of them length-wise.  Most of the band was playing a board game, Monopoly I think, on the right end of the complex, and Axl was mixing drinks on the left side.  He was in a good mood so he gave the okay to security to let me through.  I asked Axl if he'd autograph my program, and he was cool with that.  I figured all you GNR fans would be disappointed if I didn't ask more questions.  I told Axl how much I enjoyed Estranged and November Rain, and asked him what song(s) he felt were most important to him.  He thought I asked what tour was best, and he said the Dust N Bones tour.  He was a little older, goofier (he obviously had a few drinks), and shorter than I had imagined...but still cool.  Also, for some reason, Axl had just taken off a Star Wars Storm Trooper helmet when I entered the area earlier.  Weird stuff.   ???  Oh well, I'm now officially insane from the wait.   :crying:

I have actually heard some of the new music in my dreams. It sounds pretty good. Axl's voice is top-notch!

Once i dreampt that GN'R(original line up) was playing a show in a parking lot and I just happened to catch them right as they went into sympathy for the devil, of course i was stoked because theyve never played that live or had a chance to play it live, plus its one of my favorite cover/song by them. 

About a week or two ago I dreampt that Chinese Democracywas actually released on that december date that some web sites have been saying. At first i was really pissed off because there was no promotion  for the cd and the cover sucked (it was in blue or white and was very plain with the gnr name and chinese democracy written in like a arial font). Don't remember what the album sounded like or even listening to it unfortunatly.
I've had about 2 more but I dont fully remember what happened...

 right before i went to bed the other nite the vid for paradise city came on and after it was over i went to sleep i drept i was on the stage with slash in front of all those ppl playing the start of sweet child o mine [odd it was this one after see paradise city] but i was up there playing it perfectly with him and the weird part is i have no idea how to play a guitar but i guess i have allways wanted to have the oppertonity to do that but i know i will never get the chance but that was my dream and it was weird as hell  believe me

you should definitely start guitar. it will be a slow process, but trust me, it's worth it

I had a dream that I was at Donnington in 88.  The dream was in black and white.  I was one of the fans who got trampled to death.  Then my spirit floated up above the stage and I watched the rest of the concert from up there.  Then, as I went up to meet my Maker, I woke up.  YOWZA!

Had a dream last night I met Uncle Ax and he told me CD would be out early 06' and first single would be There Was a Time. Strange dream, very lucid.

with all the 'excitement' about CD on amazon, my brain started working and I dreamt about a tv show, something like the MTV awards but the logo was a big 4, the host gave out a hint before the band came up, now I dont remember what it was but it was a line axl used to sing live, then robin came up , and I was like -- that's robin !!!!! ??? and he was playing some opening riffs- not for wttj but something new, then the lights went off, and only a couple of the lights stayed focused on the stage, and a shadow ran through them, it was axl  ;D and he started singing a new song, I dont remember the lyrics except for 'and then you die' it was an upbeat piano based song, and the vocals were great  :) -dreams are very constructive sometimes  ;D his braids were gone but he had a bandana and he looked like the picture that we're not supposed to post here because the 'owner' doesnt want to- the one with the pirate coat- I hope my dream comes through  :-[ :P ;D

one time I dream that me n axl and robin and mantia all went to church together and it was a big tent revival and axl was wearing shoes like james brown and he started singing gospel songs and went up on stage and then , robin started preaching the word in spanish and me n mantia held hands and it seemed like we were in love...then buckethead showed up and he was really jealous because he wanted me to love him and he screamed and hollared and threw a fit, but no one heard him because he is a mute and his hand puppet wasnt loud enough, then slash showed up and started "handling poisonous snakes" to prove his faith...then I woke up

But a couple days ago I had a dream that I was Axl Rose's son. Swear on god. Like.. I went to his mansion after I discovered it.. and there was an asian reporter lady.. and I didn't want to have to tell her I was Axl's son (cuz I hadn't even talked to Axl about it... so yeah..) so I was just like "Yeah, Im Axl".. (In the dream we looked somewhat alike.. ) and she was all "O wow, you must have had some kind of surgery, but I really can't tell! How'd you stay so young?".. I don't really remember how I answered.. something stupid along the lines of "well.. you know.. heh"

So I went into the mansion.. and my whole family was there.. and they were all "wheres axl?" and I said "I dunno.. maybe hes out somewhere?" and so.. I went around the mansion.. I distinctly remember thinking to myself "Oh man.. I gotta find C.D!" .. and you know.. i was his son.. so how mad could he get? So I was looking in this closet.. and I found a freaking xbox 360! lol. It was a trip.

  I was the drummer for a GnR concert... and I have no idea how to play drums.  Axl Rose looked at me and said "just do it..  you know all the songs"    And I played all the songs..  drumming on a WATER BOTTLE!   lol..  the concert went pretty good though.   We were going to do two songs for the encore... Paradise City and Patience...     Axl did PC and then just left!  lol  pretty cool dream.

Well last night was my first real GnR dream in quite sometime. I went to the Leafs/Stars game last night and driving back home, me and my buddy switched and I got to sleep for a good hour, and the dream was about the killer hockey game but what changed was that the Leafs won (of course) and right before halftime, a polished studio version of IRS came on the loudspeaker! I instantly cryed out what the fuck! and everyone turned around to look at me like I had 3 heads but I didnt give a fuck! IRS was blasting in a sold out arena and I knew deep down that the time was finally here...

  So me and my buddy are at a liquor store, and he's wasted out of his mind.  He cranks up YCBM on his boom-box and the dream was like in slow-motion.  He's screaming at the top of his lungs, "YOU COULD BE MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiNE," and holds the note for an abnormally long time, just like Axl can.  I'm standing there with 3 bottles of vodka, and laughing to myself as the Indian store-owner looks on in bewilderment. 

  I'm convinced this wait is driving us all nuts.

In my dream I went to a GN'R concert...

had a haunting dream last night - the album was out but for some reason I couldnt access a copy. I did get a magazine solely dedicated to the new Guns and Axl was bald in it.

I keep having day dreams that I'm gonna pop it before CD comes out. I might have to leave a special note in my will.

This is too unrealistic not to tell.

The release is announced. I read about the tour in the paper. And oh boy it says the band members aren't playing. I cry 'shit, why they quit now? Or Axl is in fact a nutcase and kicked them out?' Then I read tommy's interview that tells the details. No they didn't and no he didn't. They are all in. the kids who Axl and co. have taught music from scratch are playing most tunes instead of them or with them. that's the very reason for taking this long.

I dreamt that I bought Chinese Democracy the day of it's release. It was a three-disc album and on the back of the CD case was a picture of the band. Axl had long, wavy, reddish-blonde hair, and for some reason Duff was in the picure too.  :-\ I was just about to pop the CD into my sterio, and then woke up. Very strange dream.

I had a really random dream that Axl was my driving instructor, and he let me listen to music while driving (most driving instructors don't), and then he took a copy of ChiDem out of nowhere and popped it into the CD player, and there seemed to be shitloads of songs on it... the only thing I could remember of ChiDem was that Madagascar was track 12...
While I was listening to the music, and driving, I wasn't really paying attention to where exactly I was going navigationally speaking, so I was driving along, and pretty soon I was driving along long solitary country lanes... aaaand then my dream took a turn for the dirty side...  :smoking: :drool:

i had a dream that axl showed up to my house dressed like a cop.  took me for a ride in a police car and played me tracks from CD while doing so.  Also said that being a cop was his hobby. 

I fell asleep in physics once and the original lineup was playing a set in the background and they were in the middle of It's so Easy before I woke up and it turns out my teacher decided to have some fun and let me sleep so all in all i look around and its a different class so he told me everyone needs a nap sometime and sent me on my way to 8th period (in the middle of it) I walk in and my math teacher said "good morning sunshine" which reminded me of Axl's guitar teacher gary sunshine and with 5 minutes to go iu finished all my math homework in class. I was also wearing my gnr shirt that day. I've had several dreams with Jungle playing in the background.

 I've had a few before but,I just had one 2 nights ago. It was about the release of Chinese Democracy.

? In the dream,I was watching Fox News Channel and at the half hour-90 second news update,the woman news reader,Donna Fiducia,says,"The long awaited Guns N' Roses album will finally hit stores after many years of anticipation." They had the New Guns logo on screen while she said this.
 
 It was weird though,'cause it was being disguised as a Green Day album(?) for shipping and when you opened the package it was GNR's CD. ??? It was already in stores and people didn't know and droves were running into stores and ripping open all of the Green day albums to find it. Like a frikkin' Wonka ticket or something.

I had one last night, that I worked for a television programme, it was like this chat show that was completely about music; anyways I was working back stage and I ran into Axl and Slash talking backstage and occasionally attacking some guy with a water pistol (which was quite fucking strange) anyways I was quite obviously shocked and stunned, and I was like 'what the fuck are you guys doing here?!' And apparently the original GnR was re-uniting to tour, and they were to be interviewed on this music chat show thing, (and CD was already out at this stage), and I told them how big a GnR fan I was and they gave me a ticket and a backstage pass to one of the gigs, and then I woke up. It was pretty fuckin sweet.

Last night i had a dream that stephanie seymour was in my BED!!!!! Oh... is that a gnr dream???

I had a dream a few nights ago I was in the middle of a huge crowd of people in front of a stage but I had no idea why i was there.  next thing I know, Axl is on stage and I'm hearing new GNR tracks.  I was going crazy in the dream.  Then I hear my dumb ass girlfriend's voice yelling my name....I wake up and shes just asking me where I left the remote control.  I was so mad at her, but I couldn't really tell her why b/c she would have thought I was insane for being mad b/c she woke me up from a GNR dream haha

I had my first ever GNR related dream last night  :hihi:

It was RIR.. GN'R opened with Nightrain, Axl sounded awesome, Buckethead was playing and there was even a big Bucket introduction and Paradise City was played like really early on and sounded brilliant  :D

when i used to go see them in the 80s i would party afterwards and get home around 6 in the morning lol and when i would go to sleep i would always always have dreams about them. mostly about izzy since i love him but quite a few about hanging out with the whole band. they were amazing. just wish they were true lol

a few months ago I dreamed about GNR being secret headliner at festival that was broadcasted on MTV. VR played there, too. Slash and Duff watched the show, the camera showed their faces while Axl performed. They seemed to like it (assumed from the facial expressions). GNR opened with a song that was completely new. As far as I remember it was really great. Waking up from that dream wasn't great at all.  :no:

I've had couple of dreams and the latest happened only few nights ago, I saw a dream where I was at some record store and I found CD and it was like 12 gameqube sized discs, asked the shopkeeper when had this come out and he said it hasn't come out yet so I put it back on the shelve, then later on I dreamt about it again and this time it was 3 regular cd's so I asked if they would sell it to me and they said no because it hasn't come out yet... so I stole it ;D

After being a fan since 1987, I had my first GNR dream the other night.  Wow, it was SO real.

I was waiting for Axl, outside of his hotel door.  He opened the door to peek out, and I caught him!  I said, "Axl! Wait!"...  He made sure no one else was around, and came out.  I was babbling, and trying to get him to sign something.  He was very cooperative, and he said he would even wait for me to go get my camera!  Anyway, you know how dreams go...  He then started crying about how he doesn't feel comfortable in the U.S., and I told him not to worry about it, "You're Axl Fucking Rose, man!  You made it!"  I remember telling him that he made it to the top, and that is awesome.  The last thing I remember, we were both crying, and then I woke up.

I've had several dreams about GNR in recent weeks.  A couple that stick out:

1) I dreamed that my ex-girlfriend and I had tickets to go see GNR somewhere in europe (can't remember where).  I was super excited, cause my ex-gf lives across the world and I never get to see her, and also cause we were going to europe, and we were going to see GNR.  she was excited to see robin finck (?) even though she has no idea who he is.

2) I dreamed that I woke up in the middle of the night and somehow found out that CD was coming out the next day.  I couldn't sleep for the rest of the night cause I was up thinkig about how dope the liner notes would be.  The next morning, on my way to work, i went to Future Shop and got CD.  I took it to work and just looked at it all day  :hihi:  the cover/liner notes were a bright red with cool pics and shit all over.  It was great  :drool:

I was at college and my friend was listening to the radio and said it had just been announced that CD was out next week but you could get promtional singles from that day. I went down to HMV and asked about the new singles and album and they said they would get the album but Axl had his own way of getting the singles out and he wasn't using music stores and they said try the local newsagent. So I went there and there was a huge queue for........wait for it.......Chinese Democracy promotional crisps! A bag of CD crisps contained crisps in a black bag with the red chinese writng saying CD and each pack contained a mini mp3 player with 3 singles on it. Each bag had a different combo of 3 songs on and it began a huge kind of trading frenzy for the new GNR crisps and the singles inside. I remember the songs sounded really good funnily enough kind of 'dreamy' similar to CITR sound, although I'd obviously never heard CITR at this time. GNR got huge again and it was great but before the album arrived I woke up? :(.

When I woke up I laughed and realised I really needed to get a life? :rofl: and stop drinking so much :beer:

But if your listening Axl I think it would really work as a PR stunt....CD crisps what do ya think? :hihi:

I dreamt GnR (the new lineup) were about to play near my house in an open space, kindda of garden. I went there running and all of sudden they are showing up...there is no stage, they are playing right in front of the crowd...but surprinsigly we are only 12 (or something) watiching the show. It was a very nice feeling thinking Axl was there playing for a few "friends"  :hihi:

I had a fucked up dream.I dreamed that I was walking down the street and I saw Axl and he said hello,so I said hi to him and then he said that he was begging the original members to come back to Guns N' Roses because he missed them and shit,anyway then he said he had to go and I told him goodbye and then I started walking off and then he pulled out a gun and shot me,and from out of nowhere came Scott Weiland and kicked Axl in the face,and then I woke up and I was pissed off

This is probably the stupidest dream in the thread, but I thought it was kinda funny when I woke up this morning.

I was in St. John's (a city about two hours from here) on a Wednesday when I turned on the NTV (local television station) Evening News.  Their top story was a Guns N' Roses reunion, with a twist!  Basically, it was Axl, Slash, Duff, Matt, and Dave (guitarist from VR).  However, Axl wasn't singing, he was just there to play piano and some guitar.  Who was the new singer?  Well (and this is why it was the top story on the news), our former provincial Premier (Premier is Canada's equivalent to State Governor, for you Americans) Roger Grimes!   :rofl:  I said "what the fuck?  He can sing???" And then they showed a clip of them rehearsing in a downtown St. John's studio.  As a tribute to Mr. Grimes joining the band, they were going to play a gig on Sunday at MileOne Stadium in St. John's.  So I was listening very intently and was very excited to go and see the old Guns back together!  Stupid and pointless, I know...  the dream ended with Lynn Burry (the newscaster) saying "Chinese Democracy begins now!" as she introduced the second story, the end of communism in China.  I think that's clever!

If anyone out there thinks dreams have any significance (I don't, I just think they're funny) think of this... she said "Chinese Democracy begins now" and I woke up at 6:20... maybe that's a premonition that CD will be released on June 20...  :hihi: yeah right.

I don?t have a dream but a funny story about my childhood. Back in 1991 when GN?R was gonna visit Sweden for the first time ever I was only 13 years old but had already got bitten by the GNR bug and was almost entirely listening to them all the time. No one in my surroundings was allowed to go to that show and my parents had said I could only go if I didn?t go alone. I had the ticket and everything and didn?t see any other alternative than running away from home to go see the band in the capitol city of Sweden which is about a 4 hours trip from where I lived at the time. So I sneaked out and ran to the trainstation. When I finally reached Stockholm I had no clue on how to get to the venue for the show but when I saw some long haired people in GN?R t-shirts I didn?t hesitate to ask where they were heading and just my luck they where for sure going to the show and were happy to let me tag along. I had the time of my life and the people who helped me get there took good care of me after the show and stayed up with me at the train station. When I got back my parents were furious and I got a one week house arrest. I still think it was worth all that screaming from my parents and a house arrest is easy when you can do it in your new GN?R official t-shirt! By the way, they did not try to forbid me from going in 1993 when GN?R came back to Sweden, hehe.? : ok: :peace: :hihi:

  I had a dream about a month ago that i was sitting somewhere and Axl appeared and said to me, " You really want me? Then you better watch out because I'm a beast!" and as he said that he ripped off his shirt, then i woke up.

I've dreamt about GNR three times.  Once a guy played two new songs for me from his balcony. I was standing in the road and it was night.  The solo was so sweet.  When I woke up, I was so disappointed.

The second dream I was sittin in a bar with Steven and Izzy.  Axl came up and asked for his coat which I handed to him.  I was really intimidated by him in the dream because he seemed like he wanted to fight someone.  Then Izzy wanted his coat and when he reached for it I punched him in the face.  Then I was really scared and started apologizing to Steven because I thought Axl would come back pissed.

The first time I dreamed about GNR I dreamed that I replaced Paul (or that I was Paul).  This was before Richard joined.  In the dream I remember playing power chords and having to try really hard to make it as loud as it was supposed to be.  I was sweating in the dream and my arms ached from playing. I looke over at Buckethead and marveled at how he shredded so effortlessly.

I was at the Guns concert last night, and Duff was playing bass. And the crowd was screaming "welcome back Duff".  Nice dream...

I dreamt Axl Rose, was playing the guitar pretty well...

last night it was one of the most realistic dreams I had,.,, It was myself and axl rose... He had been arrested and some how I bailed him out.. He was glad I did so he let me go by his house (he lived in Staten Island in my dream) and I asked him tons of questions.... I asked about CD, I said is cd coming out before rock in rio, he said no, he didn't want the new songs to be heard before those shows.. I asked about a third guitar player and he said there was one.. Funny thing was dave2k was there, I don't know how but he was. We both had serious amounts of questions... He said he was at the allman brother's concert,,,. Axl's next door neighbors were brad and angelina, the papparazzi was all over... They always spoke to axl but he had nothing interesting so they kind of left him alone.. They asked if myself and dave were anybodies and he said no :hihi:.. The whole time axl had his hair normal, and he was really cool...There was much more but I remembered most right when I wokle up the first time a few hours ago..

I forgot I had citr on a cd and I hear it playing from his car stereo and he has this angry look on his face, and I'm like relax everyone likes it.. He was then like this is the original version, it's been done so many times over it's much better now... I also asked about slkworms and the other songs we heard, he wouldn't tell me which songs didn't make the final cut

I had a dream about Better's music video. It showed the band playing on water (kinda like the estranged video's Slash solo). It was a sunny day, and  everything was really cool, it then turned at the heavy middle part. The waterlevel started lowering, revealing that all the members were standing on separate isolated cliffs so to speak, the colors turned hell like, and Axl bursted into the 'i never wanted you to be...' part. It continued like that 'till after some parts that I can't remember they had just Axl's smiling face in close up.. He had text written in a spiral all over his face, and the only part I could read was "fuck HTGTH" on his forehead. Axl then winked, and the video ended. I can't really remember it all that clearly 'cause the dream was about me and my brother watching it and throwing comments on it. But it was a pretty weird dream. And usually I can't remember anything of my dreams the day after.

I've had a few dreams related to GNR. In the first one I remember, some time during early 2001, I went to the record store and happily noticed CD is for sale! After I woke up, I briefly thought I had the album for real :hihi:

I recently had a dream that I was watching David Letterman live and Axl showed up there, and David asked him about whats been going on and Axl says "I've got an announcement to make......LONG PAUSE.......we'll be touring Europe."  David then asks about the release date, and Axl pauses and bolts out of the studio!  I then proceed to thrust my fist through the TV and then I go to sleep.  :'(

I remember a while back, I had a strange dream that the band appeared on the Today Show (on NBC), and they had a cover on the ground, the band pulled the cover away, while the camera was zooming out to reveal the release date of the album, and then there was applause and stuff. It was strange because of how real it was. I swear, when I woke up I was PISSED when it turned out to be a dream. I was so disappointed. Also, in another dream, don't ask me how, but I heard the studio version of 'Riyadh'. lol.

While the board was down (yay its up again! :beer: ) I had a few dreams actually... involving dog-collars and leashes, blindfolds, gags, handcuffs... that sorta thing... :smoking: Things that I shouldn't really put on the board... :hihi:

I had a really strange one the other night.

I wa sitting at the front of the stage at some sort of awards show (MTV movie awards or something) and GNR were playing.  However, the band had Axl, 4 keyboard/synth players (none of which were Dizzy or Pittman), 3 drummers (none of which were Adler, Sorum, Freese, or Brain), and Slash playing a six-string bass.  The band played Live and Let Die (I had heard the McCartney version earlier in the day-- weird, eh?).

I need to stop eatng jalapeno burgers after 9 pm.

it was grade 6... spring of 93... GNR was at their peak... I was in class sitting at my desk bored as hell in the dull afternoon... The teacher was going on and on about math solutions while I was sketching drawings with guns and thorns... Suddenly I look outside the window and see Axl, Slash and Duff in a white cadillac waiting for me and yelling...Axl was leaning towards the car wearing a cowboy hat and duff was slouched in the passenger seat with his head down doing something... Slash was in the back with his shades drinking a bottle... Axl told me to cut class and go hang out with them... I was stoked... He walked closer to the window and told my teacher I had to go with them on tour... I knew they were my best friends and all but I was quite surprised that they would actually show up at my school in front of all my friends... All the girls were looking at my like i was the biggest rock star on the planet... my buddies looked at my with envy... I walked up to the teacher and said I am needed outside... Boyyyyyyy.......

I dreamt last night that Axl and New GnR did a cover of Street Child by Elan, you know that song Slash plays that amazing guitar solo on. Somehow I can't imagine that happening in real life!

Axl sounded good but the dream ended before the song got to the guitar solos :(. I would love to have heard the 3 R's version of them solos, even if it was just my mind that inspired it.

Okay, I had? a VERY strange dream last night.

I dreamt I was at a GNR concert and it was reserved seating...but it took place outside and the venue only held like 1000 people max.

The outside seats were bleachers...much like what you'd sit on at a high school football game.

Axl was on stage and we had to guess the tune and whoever got it right got to go home with the setlist and Richard's guitar pick as a souveniour.

This is where it gets weird....

I yelled out "IRS" and suddenly, I get this look from a man a few rows infront of me and it was Axl...sitting down in the audience with us.? He looked at me and I put my hand over my mouth and mouthed "sorry" to him because he knew I knew what it was and he wanted someone who was semi familiar with the new material to win the setlist.

No one knew the song so at the end of the gig, I walked up to the roadie and he gave me the setlist.? It was written on white paper with a crayon...like a kid had wrote it.

I had this really weird dream (well, duh) last week... I was outside a room, wearing an England football jersey, and talking to Fernando, then I asked him if Axl could sign it for me. But instead of going inside the room or him coming out, I took the jersey off and Fernando brought it back 5 minutes later, and I just stood there in astonishment looking at Axl's signature, if I recall correctly, it was exactly like this: "AxL rOsE".

I can also vaguely remember the first GNR dream I've ever had (3 or 4 years ago): The band was on this huge stage, pretty much like the RIR 3 one, and I was standing next to BH, and then out of nothing Axl gave me a hug and a rose. There was probably more than that, but that's all I remember.

My GNR dream is that they release a Live CD and DVD set similar to how Led Zeppelin released How the West Was Won and the Double DVD set. 

I had a dream that Axl released CD and it fucking sucked. I was dreading the abuse I was going to get from everybody I know, since i've been telling them how good the album is going to be for the past four years. I had a dream.that I meet axl and I so fuckin excited.and i told him that i have the same singing voice just like him.and i start singing welcome to the jungle in front of him.and he says that Im sucked and looks angry.and then he just leave me.I think he shocked.

Two nights ago I had a dream that GnR were coming to my house to chill out before a gig. I was sat on my sofa and Sebastian Bach walked into the room. I was wearing my black cowboy boots and he said he liked them and asked me if I wanted him to customize them. I sat in astonishment and then he muttered "no of course you don't" then I snorted embarassingly and said something like "Of course I f***ing do!".
Then there was a knock at the door and there were about 20 people standing outside. My sister answered the door and let them in. I walked into the hallway and Robin was there (apparantly all those people were his enteurage (sp?).
I turned to walk into the living room but Robin got in my way so I had to stumble so I wouldn't walk into anyone. He turned around and gave me a dirty look (though I don't know how I know this, he was wearing his sunglasses :o)
Then I let everyone into the room before me and when I walked in there was someone holding up a crying baby and they said "she needs a nappy change". Everyone looked at me and I said "I'm not changing THAT" and walked out.

I have had two Gn?R dreams in past, I?ll tell you about one of them. This one I am about to tell to you took place over 9 years ago now, but I can still remember it. I have no idea why I had the dream or what the dream means.


(dream starts)
It?s day time, I?m at Axl?s house/door. The door is open, it appears to have been opened for me, although no one is there. Quite what I am doing at the house is a mystery.

I walk into the house, it looks pretty normally, it looks slightly run down and untidy, like no one has cleared up in like years, and I?m thinking to myself thoughts like *oh, I thought he would have lived in some place better than this*

What with it being a dream, non of the rooms appear to represent any particular room, there?s no television, just un describable mess/junk hanging around.

My focus shifts to the flooring/carpet it?s worn out, green and beige with a pattern on it, I remember this being a really strong point in the dream. I was thinking *this flooring/carpet sucks in a big way*.

I walk though this double door way,  the doors are wide open, I?m walking from one wide corridor to another, and right down the end I can see this figure sitting slumped in a chair, it?s Axl, he is looking down, he doesn?t move, look up or acknowledge me being there and as I am walking down the corridor getting closer I notice this fish bowl and I remember thinking how dirty the water was and feeling sorry for the 1 fish swimming in there and thinking, you (Axl) should really sort that out.

So as you can see, nothing exciting, nothing rock n'roll. I have 2 or 3 great dreams every year. And I find you cannot do in a dream what you have not done in life. So speaking to Axl in a dream I don?t think can happen, not unless you have spoken to him for real.

I had a dream recently that I found a website, it was only for Axl and the band though. It had the entire tracklisting for CD as well as streaming audio. It wasn't meant for the public but somehow I found it.

I dreamed I won 5 tickets to a gnr concert and I didnt want to go, but everyone said I should and so I took people from gnr messageboards and this one gnr fan kept trying to get close up to whisper something to me but instead they vomitted all over me and then I woke up

lol my  dreams win it all:

1) I was at a GNR gig with the crowd and suddenly something pushed me and I notice my bag (a very women?s bag btw) is missing. Then, I see Axl with it running to the stage. (weirdness meter- 50% ;D)

2) I was at a GNR gig and then all crowd starts running and screaming. Why? Cos out of nothing thousands of guitars start following the crowd trying to hurt ppl (weirdness meter- 95% :rofl:)

3) Guess what? i was at a GNR gig and it was in my local town near a church lol. There were like 20 ppl in the gig. After WTTJ Axl and the band start playing brasillians songs and things like that and the few pp who were there dissapeared. Lol me and my brother were the last to be there, but we were almost falling asleep. When we look at the stage we notice Axl isnt there anymore... lol he was in a pub getting drunk and watching Portugal in the world cup! (weirdness meter- 70%)

lol u might think this is way TOO weird to really be dreamt of but I did! But in general all my dreams are weird and I always recall them, so cool!

My long-suffering husband had a gnr dream last night - which is weird straight away as he isnt really a fan and has been listening to me going on about various show updates, whats going on in gnr land constantly for years ( this year esp) - so this really made me laugh:

Scott's dream:  Axl is in fact a Northener (ie from Manchester/Liverpool/Newcastle in UK) - the American accent was all an elaborate ruse!  He is sitting in a chair doing some kind of interview (on a very unlikely daytime show) and he has a pudding bowl haircut.  Some woman walked on set and starts saying, now what we can do, is perhaps give it some more length, Axl - how about some cornrows?  Axl mumbles something northern and shrugs and they start threading and working on his hair, whilst Axl does a crossword.  Axl later invites my husband to go fishing with him, from the back of his private plane...

The producers usually have one crazy weirdo person who gets all the camera attention the whole time, and my dream was it was Adler. He would rant/rave about Axl and he was just going nuts. jumping into the pool and he made out at ?a club with some chick that didnt have a fullset of teeth ;D

Okay, dolphin had another strange dream and this one mainly focused on Axl.

I had just returned from vacation and GNR were about to begin their USA leg of the tour.

As an added bonus, Axl would be up close and personal to all of his fans but you had to find where he was.

The radio station said to go to the corner of 4th and 5th and it was a school cafeteria.

I remember bicycling all around town trying to find this address.

I finally did and I saw Axl. 

Axl was serving hamburgers to all the school children and he was dressed in cafeteria uniform complete with his hair/braids in a hair net.

I went through the line and didn't say anything but just observed and he was telling all the children to be patient, stay in school, and they will get CD.

What makes this dream funny is that I don't bike, I am far too old to attend school, and I have no idea why I dreamt this.  I did go out last night, but just had diet coke to drink.

I had my first and only (that I can remember) GN'R dream last night.  I was at a party at Axl's house, and I was admiring the artwork he had on his walls.  Axl came over as he saw me look, his hair was braided but not pull back in a pony tail, and I told him how much I liked the paintings (I can't remember what anything looked like).  He went on to say how he got a particular piece in Italy and that's about as much as I can remember.

I had a Gn'R related dream a  couple weeks ago, and I've been racking my brains trying to remember it... >.< I do remember that my old house was in the dream, and my interpretation of what happened when Manuel Noriega was caught... and there was latex involved... :smoking:

First one was soon after IRS was played on Trunk and described as technoish or something. I saw the new band playing it with wierd green lasers shooting out from the stage.

Second dream had the old band together, and Slash was playing something Carrebian sounding on his guitar.

Third dream was the wierdest and happened only a couple months ago. I was sitting next to Dexter Holland from the Offspring (who was in reddish braids) in a booth at an American Cafe' (chain). Across from us was two of my friends. Anyway Dexter starts slagging off on Axl and talking about how he's going to steal the "Chinese Democracy" name. I tell him not to, he refuses. So I start smashing my fist into his face, snapping his head back and forth. His head falls down on the table, bleeding, SEVERELY hurt, I'm afriad I might have kill the guy.

So and me and my one friend begin to run out of the place into the parking lot but the whole time my other friend is bitching that he didn't get a beer, while we're yelling at him the cops are going to come arrest us. When we get to my freinds car (which is a massive truck for some reason, IRL he drives a small car) the other friend is refusing to leave until he gets a beer. Then the dream ends, I hope I got away.

I actually had this dream before he joined the band, but I'll post anyway as some may get a laugh out of it.

It was myself, my two brothers, my sister and my Dad, and we were in Ron Thal's backyard standing around the bbq cooking up some meat and having a cold one. Just hanging out, having fun, when we realise that we're out of oil for the barbie, and Ron tells me where to get it from his kitchen. So I go inside, and while in the kitchen, I hear this GREAT voice singing along with an acoustic. I pop my head in, and it's Mrs Foot, sitting on the couch playing and singing (FUNNY because she's a vet in real life). So I chat to her about music for a while, and return with the oil, and Ron is showing my lil sister his Foot guitar, and dipping the wings, and she was cracking up laughing at it.

All seemed so realistic - was one of those CLEAR dreams. Very cool haha.

Just woke up and had a total Axl dream. Fuckin weird too. Was at some beach and had a gun. Axl was running from a bunch of people. The people chasing him were familiar but I cant remember who they were. So I ran over to wear I knew he was going, and fully hid so I can start shooting at some of them. Cops showed up and Axl had this bat in his hands. Walked right passed the cops. Axl was totally the new Axl. Jeans, brown jacket, same hair and shit. For some reason he knew me, and we went into this little bar, kind of like how a chuy's is set up. Axl, walked over to this table where there was chicks and dudes, and he grabbed this pitcher of water and poured it into the girls drink. Totally pimp. He was all smooth and smiling and shit. I dont remember if he said anything, but it looked the the girls were all dreamy eyed. Then he ordered a bunch of drinks. The only thing I rmember that he got (because I guess it was just strange), was an apple that was sliced and scooped out? Then had it filled with a port wine.

Then a baby started crying, and Axl had this smirk on his face, and something to me (Fuck it was something sarcastic, and I think it was the only thing he said to me). I woke up and yea...it was my kid who was crying.

Wow...that was wierd. What did this shit mean...hmmm. Meditate on this I will.

have to add my dream last night to this thread.  I was in a weird street and had just walked out of a shitty confrontation with an ex and had wandered into an old record shop.  An indy type store that you wouldnt expect to have anything particularly new.  I was listening to the music they were playing and asked the surly owner what it was as I really liked it.  He was all surprised and said that he didnt think I looked the type to like that music, and that I looked more like I was into Ace of Base (for fks sake!!).  I was indignant and said fk no, Led Zepp and Guns N' Roses are my boys, and he really casually said "oh yeah, Gun's new one is here" and picked up a fold out cd - CHINESE DEMOCRACY!.  It was the fold-out cd format as Chili peppers Stadium Arcadium and all black with a yellow star on the front for GnR across it.  There was a sticker on the front advertising "win free tickets to see GnR!!" and I also got a t-shirt with Chinese democracy written all over it .  I was SO goddamn excited I was holding it so tight that I might break it.  Couldnt even open it to see the tracks/inlay stuff as was so overwhelmed. 
Woke this morning and came straight on here to check it hadnt quietly come out this morning...  :crying: not to be today!

Since I play GN'R music while I am trying to sleep I usually dream about them every night.
The best dream so far...

I was talking to Axl before a concert like we were best friends.
We were in a small room and he played on the floor while everyone sat on big stairs. (odd.)
As he was playing there was no band, except Bumblefoot appearing every now and then.. lol.
Axl played Better and dedicated it to me. Amazing.
Then everyone put on roller skates, including Axl. He said he wasn't very good at skating.
Then the roller rink turned into an ice skating rink, and Axl ran and slid on his stomach... hahaha. Everyone applauded.
Then he was telling me about wanting a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza... so I went to find them.
The cheese pizza was on the roof and I coudln't find the pepperoni, but he forgave me.
Then I woke up.

I had a dream a couple weeks ago that Chinese Democracy went on sale at midnight. When I went to the record store to buy it, it turned out only the jewel case with the booklet were on sale. There was a sticker on the jewel case telling you to bring the package back to the store when the actual CD came out in Feb. 2007. :-\

Last night I had this fucked up dream that I was in Nashiville. In part of the dream I was trying to call Baz on my Treo but every time I looked at the screen it had a full-screen ad on it for a car company. I don't even KNOW Baz's cell number, but he DOES have a Treo. (and so do I)

Then I saw this hot girl and I asked her, "Why am I in Nashville?," because I knew the show had been cancelled and I didn't seem to be at a concert venue or a hotel, and she replied, "This is where the music's playing." Right then I remembered the main character in the movie Conspiracy Theory. He had this thing where he (Mel Gibson) kept telling Alice (Julia Roberts), "We're going where the music's playing."

Then the girl in the dream reached forward with both hands and touched me under both of my arm pits and it felt like she shocked me... which woke me up.

He said yes, he has been fighting demons all his life.

Just weird cause I have never had a dream about GNR before. Wish I was singing with them in the dream but I guess the subconscious takes over...

Ya last night after the show I went to bed.   I had this dream

I was watching the band in concert, when Axl saw the way I was dancing and asked me to come up on stage.  He asked if I could play guitar, I told him yes.  He then kicked Ron and Robin off stage and let me take over.  It was great.   Then he asked me to join the band full time.   This so so great, I said yes.   Then....

So weird to see this thread today. Had this dream last night that I had CD on my Ipod all of a sudden. I began to listen to it but none of the songs sounded like GnR. They were all weird and distorted. And they didn't sound like rock songs really. Just wish that the album would really suddenly appear on my Ipod.....

Well, I?ve always had a dream since I was 13...attending a GNR gig. I always thought it would never happen but this summer my dream finally became true. I was lucky and attended the best two concerts of my life and seeing my idol sing live is something I?ll never forget. :love:

I had a GNR related dream last night, although the band wasn?t actually in it.

It was a gig at MSG. I guess I had been hanging out with the people from the board before the show, but the dream actually starts when I?m about to get into the venue. Somehow I got separated from the rest of the people and I was on my own. It was MSG but it wasn?t, if you know what I mean. I know it was, but it didn?t look anything like it. So I got inside, and everybody was running trying to get to the front cos the first opening band had just started playing and people seemed to be very excited about them. I got caught in the middle of the stampede and had no other choice but to run too. There was a big step or a set of stairs, I don?t quite remember, but we weren?t supposed to go that way, and everybody was falling on the floor. Me too. Then, instead of going back the same way, I thought I could climb the wall on the other side. I don?t know how I did it, but I did. A funny thing is that I wasn?t dressed for a rock concert at all; I was dressed to go to the office, all nice and smart with my long black coat and a skirt. Anyway, I climbed the wall and I found myself in a small area just in front of the stage. It looked like a VIP area. I have to say that somehow I had a backstage pass with me. It was full of Italian people watching the opening band. The opening band was an old Italian guy singing rock songs and all these Italian guys were going mad with him. I was a bit worried cos people kept looking at me like thinking: ?What the hell is she doing here?? Then a guy came up to me, but I showed him my pass and it was ok. Then I though: ?Ok, this is a nice spot to watch the show, but I need to find these guys? I was thinking about anythinggoes, Jarmo and Adz. I guess because of all the people I hung up with during this past tour these three are the guys I know the most. So, I went to the door and asked the lady there if I could leave to get my friends and come back later. She said no problem, but that I had to leave my handbag with her?  :confused: So I went out and there was this small passage and then another door. The passage was really dark, and this big, fat guy came out after me. I thought he wanted to ask me something, but he grabbed me and I guess he was trying to rape me. I fought him off and got away, very Hollywood like,  :hihi: I remember his arm was caught in the door and I kept shutting the door as hard as I could again and again till I broke his arm  :o

So, I was outside, but again, it didn?t look like NYC at all. It was in the country side and I had to walk this long road and then turn right to get to the main entrance. As I was going to get in again I remembered that my ticket was actually in my handbag? Still I showed my backstage pass and they let me in again. I finally found Jarmo and Adz sitting at a table drinking beer with some other people. (Sorry Stephen, I don?t know where you were  :-\)

Then my mum came into my room to wake me up and bring my breakfast?  :rant:

I had a reaaaaaaaally weird dream. I was in a front row at guns gig, havin' sum fun, and then, in the middle of the song, axl goes to the backstage and comes back with a handgun. He starts pointing at me with the gun and says "If your not going to stop that, i'm going to." well, i stopped jumping and singin' along.  the concert ends and axl's personal assistant said to me that i'm not allowed to come to the concerts anymore.  :nervous: Weird. but still funny.  :hihi:

Had a very weird but funny dream a few weeks back.  Its pretty sketchy now but can recall being in my dads house who is now just over 50yo and finding some old GNR Vinyl while clearing old boxes.  When I held the vinyl my dad said pass those here as its rather embarrassing, when I ask him why he replied that it was something from his youth.
Weird part is that it suddenly dawned on me that my father was Axl Rose and he's now passed it.
Suddenly woke up to find it not to be true thank god.
I got the sense that GNR in my dream were a passing phase years ago and nothing that happened after the illusion albums ever did happen, I mean illusions were the close.

I must have been reading this Forum TOO MUCH.

A strange one last night it was the day of a GNR concert somewhere in leeds which is like a 2-3 hour drive away i was taking my friend but first he had to pop into our town to get something so went went and parked the car he seemed to be spending ages getting the stuff he wanted and it was getting later and later by the time we got to our car it was 6.30 and we didnt have enough money to get out the car park eventually we got out and was about to be on our way when i dawned i didnt know how to get to the venue so i thought id get my sat nav which we did wasting more time anyhow we was on the road 3 hours later or 2 mins in dream time and we was there it was 10.30 i was annoyed but thankful we wouldnt have missed the showknowing axl starts after 11 but the venue was all closed up and we couldnt get in as doors closed at 10.00 so i started getting annoyed at my mate hit him fell over and woke up.

I had a weird one last week, Slash had a solo show and I was among the audience, he played some song and after it the lights went down and he started to play Patience, the whistle part started and some search lights and strobes went on and I saw a silhuet of the guy whistling, I knew who he was, and when the vocals begun the whole audience exploded, it was Axl.

After the song the show ended and Slash walked to my direction, I told him that I was at the VR show last year and he said, "I know" and continued walking away. So I went to get some food from a store, it was well over midnight and something just wasn't right, everything in the store was in finnish while I was in england after all, I then met Slash and asked a dvd copy of the show which he declained to give. Then I started to walk back to the arena, they were having a second show, I met one of my friends on the way there and suddenly we were running away from zombies.

Then my alarm clock went on and I woke up.

i had a dream that CD was realeased and i mitched off work and school to go and get it..and theyed changed the covers so that they were like the VR cd so one was pink..and one was white and they looked nothing like i thought they would....and its weired cos i started a thread called ''what if its crap'' in dead horse and it turned out that the cd was actually really crap,and everything i said in that thread was true......maybe i am paranoied :nervous:

- I was watching a documentary about GNR on TV, and Beck had joined them, saying that he was honored to be a part of the band.  I remember that they were playing songs that were supposedly from CD on the TV, but I don't remember what they sounded like.
- Meeting Axl on the grounds of the mall parking lot, and driving around town with him, buying smoothies.  That one was fun.   ;D

Rather weird alrite, but I have absolutely NEVER dreamt of GNR/ChiDem before..till last night..

I woke up when the doorbell rang and I got up and opened the door. My friend (who likes GNR) came in and started talking and whatever. We went into the living-room and he was like "remember when I was at your house and we bought ChiDem on the Internet and put your address there..I was wondering.." I looked at the calendar and saw it was 21st of October ??? Anywho, then the mail came  :-\ and something fell on the floor of my hallway. I went to see what it was and it was Chinese Democracy (I swear I'm not insane but this was weird). And I remember the CD being all black with a HUGE Axl pic on the cover ( as if he's the only member or whatever). I looked at the back to see the song selection and there were like 3 cd's ??? I was looking at the names of the songs and I didn't know any of them. I remember a song being called OMFG which amused me. Then I was like "well..where's Better and The Blues"? I looked at the things on CD 1 and there was "introduction to Better and The Blues" and something called "how to use this CD".
I was WTF-ing again and my friend came and snatched the CD out of my hands and left. *Then I had another not GNR relating dream*

I remember all the details 'cause I had written the dream down right after I woke up. And yes, it's weird and crazy ???

Two days ago I had a dream about Axl.I was in some place,looks like the casino with Axl.There were some people there,Axl told  them something like:"....It can last for a long time,I can play for a many hours(I think it's about the music)and I want you to know I'm going to invite Stephanie Seymour to take part in the new video".I was disappointed at this fact,I thought so many years left and he is doing the same and I even started to cry.Then he pull me up,he was so angry at me,he told me to put myself in order and I had to submit.

I dreamed that I was a Guns N' Roses gig and they opened with "Perfect Crime" and went on to do William Shakespeare stuff, "Romeo & Juliet" I think. It was weird. And Chris Pitman wasn't on synths, it's was a fat guy, and he was pushing a button. Really weird dream.

Damn, I saw a dream last night, I was at some kind of swamp and guns started to play a song, it was a new song, something I've never heard before, slow tempo guitar song almost like the whole song was one guitar solo, duet with someone, Axl sung in high voice, kinda like the "No one ever told me when.." voice and the other guy sung in a very mellow, not very deep voice.

Then there was one tht the original lineup got back together and i went to there first show back.

We had the honor and priviledge of sitting on a bench on the side of the stage. 

The time had come for Izzy to grace us with his presence.  Izzy comes out, and much to everyone's surprise, I go up to him and shake his hand and exchange a manhug.  :hihi:

Everyone's like, "Fucking Garry just went up to Izzy fucking Stradlin' like nothing."

And all the while Izzy and I are talking about racing while the crew is setting up his gear.  :hihi:

I was one of a group of online fans, and we somehow determined that Axl was reading many of the forums and messages posted online about him.  We also somehow obtained Axl's cell phone number and the group elected me to call it since I was the most convincing person in the group.  I called it and he answered.  I explained that I represented a group of dedicated fans online, that we knew he was lurking through forums, and that we wanted him to come online (to a moderated chat or message board) and answer questions from the group, including talk of the Chinese Democracy delays and the possibility of a reunion. 

Rose listened to what I had to say, (we were very surprised he didn't hang up), and responded with a "No, fuck that, and here's why" speech ranting about bootleg traders, negative critics, trolls online, and how there would never be a reunion because of Steven Adler.  I responded by explaining every counterpoint:  why we bootlegged the new songs (something like 'you don't know what it's like to wait 14 years, you hear this stuff every day..'), why the critics mess with him (something like 'they hated your 2002 voice and still complain because they can't hear the whole album'), how we would control the forum and keep trolls out, and how we don't care about Adler and that it's all about Rose/Slash/Izzy/Duff we could care less who the drummer is.  I then rattled off some kind of suggested plan where he would finish the life cycle of Chinese Democracy (release, touring, etc), then build the reunited band with Matt as the drummer and record songs in secret with them for a new album, then unleash the reunion at their R&R Hall of Fame induction. 

Because he liked my plan and my explanations of everything, he agreed to come online and speak with us.

I had a dream that CD came out and I was opening it in the truck at every red light as I drove home. The packaging was the Arcade Fire's new packaging, which is badass. Then I woke up.

To my knowledge I never had a dream about gnr or chinese democracy before .. untill last night.

Anyways , dont remember much except that at a green day concert (of all things) the lead singer stopped the show @ midnight and sent a road crew member out to buy chinese democracy and informed the crowd they could go buy it and talked about it a lil .. then the road crew guy came back with the album. It was in a freaking plastic flask bottle like case!

So so weird.

I've had many, most of which I can't even remember but one was me going to the local record shop to get CD, bought it and when I looked behind it for the list of songs there were 3 f---ing songs on the damn thing! :rant: I was pissed off as all hell! And very happy (for once)  to wake up and realize CD hadn't come yet.

so last night i had a dream, i was hanging with axl and some of the original line up (duff, slash) and i was hangning backstage with them and all that. and before long i realized i was buckethead, and i was trying to figure out how to play gutair, which i could not do,? :hihi: before too long fights erupted between some of the bands memebers (axl and some of the old lineup) then after that i do not remember much about that part. then i was at his house. and i got to help him find his key to his house that he stashed somewhere outside. and then i got bold and asked the cd question. he got very angry and told me it was never coming out, that he never wanted to do the cd in the first place and that the record company was forcing him to do it. the leaks were only to make it seem that he was actually trying to come out with something new.

just thought id share ya know. hope theres no negative comments. just a fun dream to talk about.

overall a good dream. luckily it was only a dream.

I just rememberd that i for some reason had Chinese Democracy (the whole album) on my itunes and i thought "i'm gonna listen to it one song at a time, no small sneak peaks" the first song were CD it sounded kinda as it was leaked.. don't remember any other parts then the 7 sec clip and intro that have leaked.. the next song i heard were madagascar.. it was somewhat changed but i only remember some pitman (or maybe dizzy) effect that stood out from the leak.. then i don't remember hearing any other songs.. rhiad i think was like the tenth song (#7-10 maybe) on the tracklist.. "if the world" i remember seeing on the tracklist (all i saw was itunes but u know what i mean, i didn't see the back on the album) i was so pmped up in the dream :hihi: that's mostly it.. i remember that there were another song with like maybe 4-6 words in the title (but it wasn't twat)

I think i met dizzy and was asking him about him and pitman.. he said that when pitman came pitman handled all the sound effects and stuff like that and dizzy played all piano and that's all he wanted to do.. play the piano.. i thought that made sense but then i rememberd that dizzy plays bongo drums too and i was confused and dizzy was all gone :rofl:

for some reason they played like a personal show just for me.. btu sometimes i was playing with them :confused: so we were supposed to play "do it for the kids" and scott wasn't onstage.. he was backstage and matt ran back.. then slash me and duff jammed a little then slash went back i think.. so it was just duff and me.. and we had the best talk ever now we weren't onstage we were sitting in my sofa, and he got tears in his eyes about personal stuff and with VR saying that they didn't know how long it could continue like this and shit with scott and matt being a dicks in some way don't know if he (scott) was on drugs in the dream.. then i asked some random questions.. then when we had talked about that we talked about old gnr songs and Duff the man himself taught me some song on the bass both old GNR and VR.. woah that would've been cool if it happend for real.. well after we had played bass 2gether i woke up because my sisters kid started crying

I had a GNR dream last night, or this morning I should say.  I was at some live event, for MTV or something.  I think it was like a TLR kind of thing but a much larger stadium-like crowd.  I got word that something special was gonna happen and sure enough after the first video they played they broke into "Paradise City".  (I wake up to AFD every morning so I'm sure that song was probably playing in the background, hence no "new" song.)  During the performance there was like this rotating billboard type thing promoting Chinese Democracy and directing you to a website for more information.  I think there were also markings of UYI I and II on the billboard, so they covered the whole gamut.  Chinese Democracy was coming though, I was quite excited.  And then I woke up and "My Michelle" was playing.  It was only a dream.

I had a dream a couple of nights ago and in it i was talking to i think it was fortus.. he said that everything about the album was ready.. just that the record company wanted 15 songs and the band only had 13 so that was what the latest delay was all about :hihi:

On topic, yep, I had a very vivid GNR dream the other night.  I was going to meet some friends at a GNR show, but the deal was that it was being held in a middle school auditorium/lunch room.  Ya know, one of those lunch rooms with a stage.  :hihi:  Axl and the guys were very cool and gave it their all for the couple hundred people in the crowd.   

Well, I dreamed last night that CD came out. I think that was the second time I've had a dream about that... (I know, now I'm officiallly a no-life fanatic  :hihi:)

In this dream I didn't actually buy  the record, the dream was more about the hype before the album was released, and in the dream it was really going to be released.

So... all of a sudden there were a big buzz on internet forums about  a radio stream that where they were gonna play songs from the new album. You could listen on it on radio or you could stream it on net, so it was like a basic radio station show, I don't remember which. They were gonna play 4-6 songs from the album on the radio show and at least 2 of them were to be completely unheard songs. There were ads all over the newpapers and magazines on the day of the radio stream, but no beforehand promotion of it...   :D

I remember reading a topic about it and being all excited, the stream was going to start soon, someone was updating the situation in to the topic. Then I turned my tv on, and suddenly there it was, on national tv (news I think??), a live perfonmace of a gn'r song that I haven't heard. Then when I came back to my computer after watching an awesome performance by gn'r, the stream had been started, and I had trouble getting to the actual streaming site and were all panicky. :D

A funny thing, I even remember the beginning of that song they played on tv, though it was a song I had never even heard about. It started with a cool, not too long solo from Mr. Finck and proceeded from there with the drums kicking in and Axl starting to sing with a crisp voice: "You porn, you kink..." (WTF  :nervous: :rofl:) So I think the song was called "YouPorn"  ;D


Well, that's all I can remember. Probably I've been reading too many topics about the album maybe coming out, and downloads and stuff, so my subconsciousness did the trick on me...  ;)

After a long week of stress, finally slept in a little this morning.  GNR must have been on my mind.

I dreamt I was in a record store and there was a new GNR album.  It wan't Chinese Democracy though.  I don't remember the name, but it had about 8 songs.  I couldn't stop playing the 1st song though.  It was a new version of November Rain.  The song actually began with some light synthesizer melody underneath an "I love you" message from Stephanie Seymour.

I dreamed a guy I knew at a CD pressing factory gave me a copy of CD. I was so fucking excited, that I waited a week before I listened to it. I finally popped it my CD player and it turned out to be fucking Def Leppard. What a pisser!

I actually saw a video clip of the song "Chinese Democracy" in my dreams.

I'm sure I've mentioned this here before, but anyway..

I couldn't remember it all when I woke up, but it featured the band playing along to the song all dressed in black in a Chinese temple before a crowd of soldiers who were all standing still motionless.

There was also alot of footage which was based on the film KUNDUN, and yeah i know Axl said the song was inspired by that film.

Once not so long time ago had a dream with mr. foot that i have had many times. It was pretty simple. Was hanging out with him. Not after a show. Just like meeting up. Out getting some to eat together. Showed me some and the next thing i remember is some with singing together and he teaching me some!

Had another one too where me and a friend (havnet found out who) kidnapped mr. foot and would first set him free when we got the olf foot guitar and swiss cheese.

I had a dream once that they were holding auditions for a second guitarist, for some odd reason Gilby was the lead and they needed a rhythm guitar player and I came in played for axl and gilby knocked them away, Gilby got jealous because Axl seemed to think I should end up playing lead instead and then as I was walking away Gilby in a jealous tone said "Damn that kid could play"

I've had dreams about songs too. Songs that don't exist, that is. It's really strange to have something playing in your head in the morning that you know isn't really a song.

Wow, nobody's had a GNR related dream in over 120 days.  What's with that?  I had a dream last night that the album was going to be released........... in March 2009.  Hey at least it wasn't 2010 or something further down the line.  I just hope tonight when I go to sleep I can fast forward to March 09 and get to experience purchasing and listening to the album for the first time.  Oh happy day!

I had one several weeks ago that I was sitting on my back porch and heard something coming from the front of my house. So I got up off the swing and saw that there was a parade of black cars and what looked to be an Escalade by police escort blasting the Chinese Democracy intro followed by a guy on a megaphone screaming the release date of 10/21/08. What I found to be funny of all of this is that date is actually a Tuesday!

GNR reappeared again in my dreams last night hah thats what happens when i spend so much bloody time listening to the songs and following these forums..

VMAs started, there was no announcement or introduction, lights just went down and GNR opened the show playing "Shacklers Revenge" with Buckethead in place of Robin. Later in the show they played "Better" and then at the end of the show Axl was interviewed by Kurt Loder and announced the release date. Then the next day GNR put a stream of a brand new song up here as a preview of the album and everyone on the forums was going crazy

so mr self destruct your not the only one 'dreaming up' new songs, but your post made me crack up

it's more funny and had axl reference in it, i was dreaming about "how to impress this girl" then in the dream i thought "wait a minute, axl plays the piano, then i know how to do it" then later in the dream i thought "wtf, just because i've seen axl play piano don't mean i can do it, i've seen millions of guitarsolos but can only play some chords"  :P

I had a dream that I was at a car dealership with Axl and he was buying me a white Toyota but I didn't want it and refused to drive it.  Weird!

I've woken up to GNR the past 5 years or so, AFD woke me up until Chinese Democracy came out and since then that has taken over.  I set my alarm well ahead of when I need to get up so I usually drift in and out of sleep until the hour is up, "This I Love" always gets cut off.  Anyway, this leads to many GNR dreams, many are seeing the songs played live.  The other day though I had a dream that Axl made a live television appearance announcing future plans and a tour.  It was awesome, though for some reason I wasn't as surprised in the dream as I would be in real life.  If Axl came out tomorrow in real life and did something like that I'd be shocked and quite excited.  Maybe someday, until then I look forward to my next GNR dream.

I dreamt I traveled with the band, and Adz, Beta, Jarmo, some fans, Fernando were with us too, so the dream gets less blurry while we sit and hang after a show in some department, then I ask Axl what he ment with the line "Freud might tell me what I need, but all I ever get is greed" and then he falls asleep. :P

The morning after he tries to tell me something but then I wake up.

My dream started off in a living room and there's a party going on.  Beta and I are sitting on one side of the room when Axl comes over.  He's annoyed that Beta is talking to me and he wants go open his presents.

He goes to the middle of the room and sits on this raggedy green couch.  The first present he goes to unwrap is from me (I could tell this by the contents).  It's "wrapped" in one of those white plastic shopping bags with the handles tied into a bow.  I could see through the plastic that inside is a large box of cheerios cereal, whoppers candy in that milk carton type container, and a 2 lb box of chocolates.

Axl must've really liked my gift because next Beta and I were looking up at the ceiling in my apartment that was all stained and part of the plaster falling down from water damage in the apartment above mine and Axl was trying to get me to give him my e-mail address that I didn't want to give him.

The end. 

Honestly it would be playing with GNR anytime any place!!!

I had such a weird ass dream I can't even begin to describe it. Some key elements... GNR in a club gig (maybe more of a school gym hall type venue), played weird versions/solos of songs, there was another stage on the back wall where they walked halfway through the gig. Asked Frank for an autograph, tried to chat with a very disinterested Tommy... then when waiting for PC as encore I realize the gig is already over and now there's a fat comedian on stage telling jokes and most of the audience is already changed to some elderly bingo attendee types :D

I've never recalled so much of a dream as I did that night. What was strange was that I really was up to speed all the time that something is not quite right... and the GNR thing was just a part of the whole dream which too I recall quite well. Strange shit :D

The other night I dreamed I was riding on a double decker bus in London. It was night time and I was on the upper level of the bus. It felt like another time like the swinging 60's and then I noticed GNR was doing an acoustic show on the lower level of the bus. Axl came upstairs to tell everybody. It was really weird but cool.

So many cool dreams in this thread, and some rather strange ones too.

My dreams often involve flying to a country to see the band, and then waiting in the crowd anticipating the intro. Then almost always, when they come on, I usually wake up a short time after.  :'(

Come on Voodoo, even if GN'R came onstage right on time in my dream. There would still be abit of waiting involved in any case, so why do you presume they have came on late.  :hihi:

I think the reason why I wake up all the time is because of the excitement and they say when dreams get to the best part, you wake up.  :-\

Last night I had a rather vivid Gn'R dream that mostly featured DJ - that is probably connected with the fact that I took time to listen to the podcast yesterday. Anyways, I was at a Gn'R concert and the band sounded really good. Later on also Metallica was playing but I did not like it much. The concerts took place in some huge hall and afterwards a lot of people were wandering around the stage and it turned into some sort of party. I noticed DJ close by and we started talking. It turned out he was also playing guitar with Metallica. I told him he did a good job with them, but I really thought Gn'R had been so much better and that I had enjoyed the gig although I thought that the concert in Oslo Spektrum (that I attended irl) had been even better, that the band had been more animated and alive on stage. At some point I wandered outside and found myself in London.

I had another GN'R dream last night too, it was the usual 'GN'R show' dream I have. It was in like a theatre type venue like the Hammersmith Apollo, and it seemed so real.

I even remember running to my seat when the lights went down, and the intro music was the Jaws like theme. It was all so real, and I really enjoyed it too.

I love having GN'R dreams, makes my day so much 'Better' (pun intended).  ;D

Had yet another GnR dream. This time I was shopping and discovered that some clothing chain (the name of the chain was plain to me in the dream but I seem to have forgotten it now) had T-shirts with various GnR motifs on them, including some concert pictures. I was convinced they had no permission from the band to sell the T-shirts and started taking pictures of them with iPhone in order to contact the band and notify them of what's going on.

The funny thing is, in the spring when I visited Holland I was in a clothes shop (forgot the name but it's a chain) and saw a T-shirt that had a motif that looked a lot like the cross tattoo picture from the Appetite era.

i had onr where GN'R were playing at some ampitheater and i got front row seats and got to hi5 axl but my alarm clock went off in the middle of it so i dont know how it ends damnit school

I used to have a ton of dreams where I'd be on my way to a GNR show but I'd either be late, never make it there, or they wouldn't come onstage. The most entertaining one I had though was when I dreamt I found Axl laying in the parking lot near my local mall and he drove me around in his car and we talked for a little. I told him I loved Coma and Locomotive and mentioned something about when they were on AOL news for Rock in Rio 2006, and I think we were planning to meet my mom for dinner but I woke up before that part. :(

I used to dream about going into the record store and buying Chinese Democracy (before it finally came out).  Even when I got to the point where I felt like it didn't mean near as much to me anymore.  The endless waiting and years going by one after the other was getting old, and surprisingly, I'd still dream about walking into the record store and pick CD up and pay for it.  I'd be so friggin happy on the way out with it and right before I put it in the CD player of course...........I'd wake up and get all pissed off.  That's how I knew that it was still just as strong inside me as it always had been.  And the day it finally came out I was right there, just like in the dream.  It was very surreal.

I had a dream that Axl was playing with band members I had never seen before, playing in my old street in N. Ireland and playing Winnebago Deal's "Avalanche". So there you go.

Dream 1: I was at an ice hockey game with the current GNR band, we were all having a great time and then Bumblefoot spilled nachos on my pants and I was running around the rest of the dream trying to find new pants.

Dream 2: I was front row at a GNR show and they had a competition and I won and got to choose out of 4 boxes and the one I chose had a signed Axl mic in it... when I woke up I was devistated.

I dreamt I was at some fanmeeting but it was at the local supermarked. I was gonna say hi to axl and had my hand on his shoulder and he took my hand and said; 'hey don't grab my ass' and walked. And then I talked to Jarmo about 'Axl tought i was gay'  :P

Had more of a nightmare about a show at one of the Techno-bars in Japan. Very odd, poppyseed dressing before sleeping is never a good idea  8)

Lately it's been difficult in a temporary accommodation and waiting for the new job to start. Life has been just waiting and not much money. However, I've got by just about fine without too much stress or trouble sleeping. Last night all that changed with only one more night there and then moving into a proper apartment.

I woke up at 5am realising a body had been found and while not confirmed by the authorities the search team that I was part of was certain it was Axl Rose. He had been out of hiatus but missing since and that's why the search.

One of them is an Axl Rose doing this with his old pals!. Thats is one dream come true.

Next, i want to see that magic again together. Axl n Slash are a perfect combination of 2 big rockstars, they complement to eachother. They compete "in a good way" on the stage. They absorb and give energy to the other.

i dream all the time of when we don't have to have endless speculation threads and can actually make fact based threads like talking about actual concerts, albums things actually going on with the band and its members.

I dreamt I was in the studio with slash and he was showing us a few guitar parts with no vocals, and I told him I could work on the lyrics and vocals  :rofl: :hihi:

This dream was over 25 years ago

I was in a pub and I was sitting at a table with two friends from senior school, one from junior school and Slash with his top hat on. Another friend, Carl, was stading at the other end of the pub flicking through a jukebox. We were chatting for a while, it felt homely. I turned to look at Carl for a second, flicked my glance back to the table and everyone had gone, except Slash whose face had disappeared to be replaced by a black nothingness. In shock, I woke up.

i had this dream the other night that a new song leaked, and it was unstoppable. everyone i knew was listening to it. it was really mean, catchy, and modern sounding, not very guns like, more hip hop like with lots of rock stuff going on in it too. it wasn't from the next album, it was some other thing axl put together that seemed like it was intentionally leaked by him.  i usually hate hip hop but the song was amazing, his voice was very recognizeable. the only lyrics i remember were "i fuck off, i fucked your mom", and a few other lines that i think did some kind of wordplay with well known phrases that use fuck that i don't remember. sounds corny here, but in the dream it was really witty and cool.

What they've already been doing is part of the dream-
Their reunion "comeback" began with anticipatory marketing to tease the masses and build suspense and excitement and mystery among both fans and the general public-- they marketed during a big motion picture release like Star Wars, marketing during the Super Bowl. Integrate their iconic status into other iconic pop culture institutions like Star Wars and the Super Bowl. In addition, they launched a summer time stadium tour. All while Axl is vocally in top shape! Although I would have never dreamed that Axl becomes lead singer of AC/DC, I would have suggested that Axl build bridges with big names in rock (AC/DC and the David Growl) to showcase his talent and mend his broken reputation.
So far, they've been already living out my dream scenario!!!
BUT . .  .
to perfect my ongoing dream, GNR would do the following:
1. release a well produced biopic with A list actors, no cheese factor, but in the same vein as The Doors, Coal Miner's Daughter, Walk the Line, and Straight Outta Compton!
2. Biopic is released simultaneously with a hard rocking single to mainstream rock radio- single becomes a summer smash hit in anticipation for the album release in early fall or late summer
3. Announce a new album release-- early fall or late summer
4. Album is classic GNR-- full of hard rockers where Axl uses all of his voices, deep voice, smooth croon, raspy blues, gravelly rasp, and his scratchy howl and screechy scream. Album includes a few covers, e.g. Sailing
5. Continue a world tour, packing stadiums
6. GNR release an acoustic album full of stripped down, blues based country-rock-- showcasing his lower register singing voice and piano ability and Slash's blues based guitar

yeah, that must have influenced my dream. it was like a modern finished version minus the corn. i know what that is without even looking at it  :)

edit: i was wrong. i thought it was gonna be that "you fuck with me, ill fuck your mother" rap thing from the uyi days. glad i checked!

About a week ago, I dreamt I had to measure Axl's feet for a new pair of shoes. Curiously, his feet were slightly different sizes (one foot measured size 11, the other just over size 10).

At the moment what they are doing is pretty amazing and should be considered a dream after 2015. No-one thought this was possible..

In saying that... from here... if i could be selfish this is what i would "dream.

1. Continue this tour in Australia and onto europe early-mid 2017.

2. Churn out a brand new album with Adler and Izzy guesting on a couple of songs on the new album.

3. World Tour that.

4. Unlock the Vault - release the UYI tour stuff and pro shot footage on blue ray of the shows from that tour.

4. Call it a day. Mission complete 

PLEASE do not turn this FUN thread into yet another "my GNR wish list" thread or it will wind up being filled with "I dream they add *insert song title* to the setlist" or "I dream they play my country/city etc"

I haven't had one for ages and then this happens. Just a normal gig somewhere, packed venue, all is great.

But the band don't appear, they don't get on stage and it's midnight or so. Then I woke up.
