Thanks. But I'm just looking for a .wmv, .mpg or .vob of the pro-shot P. City video. Not looking to do anything complicated or download an entire dvd. The files existed last year, but like I said, all links are dead now.

The whole dvd (two tracks) is 250 mb, it is in VOB format and you'll grab it in half an hour...

As for youtube... unsavable as far as I know. And even the one .gv file I found at googlevideo has no audio on one side. I want to take the P. City file, convert to .wmv, upload it to googlevideo and then embed a google video player into one of my web pages.

Do you have to register at that site? I got this error when trying to access the zip file...

to save it you wanna remove the "watch?=" (in red) and leave the "v" still in the link and just add a forward slash (/) after it so now that link should look like this

once you do that enter that on your browser and go to that address and it will play the video again but this time it will take up the whole page.

now notice the link of the video is different then what you pasted to see it. you will now see this

now after the youtube.com/ you see "p.swf" (in red) you wanna change that to "get_video" so the link will now look like this

once you change the p.swf to get_video on the url click go or enter and it will ask you to save a flv file, once that is saved just convert the file into an mp4 file, i use videora to convert the file.

then you will have video saved to your hard drive.

the mpgs are on gnrbootlegsforum.tk and gnrbanned.net

Although I don't need it for this P. City, thanks for that info. Often times I find a clip on youtube that I'd like to save... where quality doesn't matter. So that will be useful.

As far as the other links, I give up. I'm all done with scavenger hunts in my life... nothing at this point is that important. So unless someone has a link (posted here), to the exact file, thanks everyone for the help.  : ok: Never thought an attempt to find a file that was broadcast on British TV and exists in so many places @ dvd quality would be such a cluster f**k. For christ's sake... you'd think I'm hunting for an alien autopsy video smuggled out of Wright Patterson Air Force Base  :rofl:

Doing a search of this forum, there's a dozen messages from June and July '06 where the video was posted at mega and other places. But all the links have expired. Like I said, it's not something rare, illegal or anything else. It's just a cluster f***.  :rofl:
