I don't think emailing frontier will help. It has been done many times and they have a copy and paste response. It all depends on GN'R and what they want to do. Meaning Axl and his camp.

Hope they come....the asian tour with no stopover here is not a good sign...you'd think for economy of scale it would make sence to play here while you have all the equipment so close...but I'm not a tour manager so i dont know!

Just remember Axl HAS to tour every major country to let people know the new GN'R can play, and the album will be just as good as the live performances, before he releases the album. 

if and when they tour here, all us aussies should organise an awesome gnr night! Sure i have no doubt ill have to fly up from tassie, but id bet we could come up with something....

Yeah pricks!  I had my ticket and all for the show in Perth then they went and cancelled it. If I had known from the beginning they weren't gonna come I could have organised to fly East and seen em instead!

I've emailed all the major promoters in Australia and they have all siad there are no plans of them bringing GN'R here anytime soon. Bit of a drag. I'm sure something will happen soon though.

It is a stock standard answer for a promoter to give. They're very rarely gonna say anything while they're still negotiating a tour, cause if it falls through, it makes em look unprofessional etc.

Last year I emailed Andrew McManus Presents as I had heard there was a possible Cheap Trick tour of Australia happening, and got that same reply, yet a week later, the tour was announced.

Fingers crossed they come!!!!!!!!!!

When I emailed Frontier last year for VR, they were honest and told me the plans and dates about a fortnight before they came out. But this is GN'R, a million times bigger.

I was really hoping GNR would come to Pinkpop (The Netherlands) since the date and the release date were pretty close..but nope.. :no:

im not sure if a pre sale will be much good, I really am interested to see how the tickets sell, for the stages theyve booked they have alot of confidence, alot of the yobbos who were into gnr back in the early 90s have never touched a keyboard, so when they get word of this at the local centrelink office, im sure it will sellout, theyll be at the front row chanting SLASH SLASH!!!

Thats what Im worried about,  I told my friend the other day, about guns n' roses new songs and shit like that,

And he goes " what , I thought gnr broke up years ago", and I told him about the story, 15 mins later ,he thought they were alright,
and hes my age (18) and hes techno savvy, which means, if he doesnt know theres a new gnr, and he goes on the net,

then the people who see gnr coming to australia think its fkng slash and duff etc,

Its true that alot of aussies dont give a fuck about the internet, ive met lots of people who thought gnr were long gone.
I dont really worry about it though, It will be a great night, and one that im sure we will remember for the rest of our lives.
id love to se them break out a coupkle of classic UYI era songs, Cival war or whatever, im just glad to see them!!!    : ok:

100 bucks per ticket,

2 tickets for sydney and brisbane = 200$,

160 dollars return flight from syd to brissy,

= 360 dollars,

and sleep in the airport overnight lol
