Title: ISO: Sweet Child O' Mine from Chicago '92 SBD FLAC
Post by: BurningHills on March 23, 2007, 02:17:20 AM
I downloaded this show in FLAC from Oink, but for some reason, KOHD is included twice, and SCOM is missing. If anyone could hook me up, I'd be grateful!  :peace:

Does a true lossless version of Chicago 92 (Soundboard) exists?

To be honest, the only version of that (SBD) show I have is the one that Timebomb uploaded in DIME last year. But If Im not wrong, its sourced from a DVD, I mean, a DVD rip, and I dont know if any of the Chicago 92 DVDs has lossless audio in it, and I've never made an spectral analysis of the show I have.

I know there is a real lossless version of Chicago 92, but audience recording.

By the way, can you give me the direct link to that ''Oink'' site?

thanks in advance.

EDIT: oh, I saw that oink needs an invitation... do you have one?

My Chicago 92 came with an info file that says the lineage is:
[Soundboard > Pro-shot VHS Gen ? (incomplete)] > CDR > EAC (secure mode) > WAV > FLAC

But I just did a spectral analysis and it is actually from a lossy source!

I know there is another version of the Chicago SBD that was going around before. ?The sound was kind of muddy and there was a constant tape hiss. ?It also cut out right at the beginning of Paradise City

I don't have any Oink invites, sorry.

And all it says is that its a SBD FLAC - the quality is great.
