Title: Silence of the Rose Post by: Randy Jesus on March 21, 2007, 09:48:37 PM Last time we really heard of or from Axl is December. He gave a personal message to us all. However he has been silent since then with a minor gig at a party. He has his friends updating us now. But we don't know what he is doing. From what we were told is that the album is recorded and being mixed. Dizzy comes out and talks about better. Still nothing from Mr. Rose. The website used to focus on just him on the main page. But over the last month or so, that has changed. There hasn't been a picture of Axl on the front page. Strange...
What I think is that Axl is extremely busy right now. He is personally taking care of everything himself, maybe with a little help. He is getting the paperwork done and working closely with the person(s) mixing Chinese Democracy if it hasn't already been mixed. There is a world tour coming up soon. It takes a lot of mental and physical work to prepare for such things. Travel plans have to be put in place in order to make sure that the tour dates and travel coincide. (Speculation) The website clearly shows that Axl is occupied by other things. A picture of some backstage guy flipping off some obscure band, makes the site proves it. Then the worst picture of Dizzy ever makes the front page. With all this activity and no Axl, tells me something is going down big time. Before if it wasn't from Axl, you wouldn't get any information. That has changed. The next time we hear from Axl, it is going to be huge. All signs are pointing towards him prepping for the biggest leap of faith he has yet taken in his music career. Silence from Axl is good from what I see. You don't hear about him out doing stupid shit or living it up, that means he is working on the thing that he most enjoys besides the women. I don't think that his silence or no silence is more significant or indicative or anything compared to the other current members'. Dizzy spoke about BETTER, this is band news for me. It doesn't have to come from Axl himself.
