Title: Dust N Bones on Live Era Post by: ChrisPittman on March 19, 2007, 06:47:46 AM Now, we all know that Izzy sings vocals on this track on the studio version, yet on the Live Era version it was decided to use the version with Duff on vocals. I dont understand why this happened, since Duff and Slash and Axl were all involved in the recording process and obviously it would have made more sense to use Izzy's vocals? If not, why didnt they use 14 Years? And surely this song wasnt re-recorded?

If you listen to the bootleg version, Axl introduces "Mr Izzy Stradlin takin' the lead on vocals" and also, Slash never sings lead (aside from one track on the spaghettie incident?) and duff only sings lead on a studio demo of the song.
