this is from a brazilian newspaper, but nothing confirmed..

If they're plannin to rock South America in may (I think the brazilian shows are almost confirmed) is very probable that they're gonna also play in Venezuela, Colombia, Chile n' Argentina (as they do on '92)... that's the usual schedule for South American tours n' those are good news for me as probably gonna see Velvet Revolver n' Gn'r the same year  ::)

Although is likely, it's better to wait for at least the real confirmation about the dates here in Brasil first. But you're Argentinian, right? They should play there before Porto Alegre, I guess. It would be sometime before May 15th, if this date is indeed correct.

Im totally against this.  Chavez is a psychotic scumbag who only appears to be doing good because of the hikes in oil prices... This guys worse than Castro, hes a military dictator who rigs elections and dabbles in global conspiracies.  He has close ties to Iran and supports their nuclear weapons program (even recieved an award for this).  Ive always said bands getting involved in politics is wrong for a band.  If Axl does play Venezuala good for the Venezuelans, but he should play "Youre Crazy" for Chavez, because Chavez is fucking crazy.

Please, don't even start again this shit. Axl could play You're Crazy for a lot of people...

Big difference is GNR was successful in their show, Chavez got his ass kicked in his coup... Wasnt he jailed like 5 hours after his attempted coup?  One thing Venezualans might want to realize is even people who dont support the U.S. president dont want some psychotic dictator calling him the devil.  If Axl was playing at the republican or democratic national convention or a nominee wanted to use a gnr song id think it was a bad idea.  Keep politicians out of music and musicians out of politics.  Oh btw im sure Axl supports Chavez's taking of wealthy peoples property to give to the poor...Good for Venezuelans but seriously a lot of people in the U.S. hate Chavez and even religious leaders over here have called for his assassination, (Pat Robertson) just leave it at a show and thats that.

I have good news for us from venezuela, i just talked whit a friend of mine that works for the Rolling Stone magazine here in Venezuela and he told me that the President of Movistar (Telef?nica), one of the biggest cell phones companies in south America, that he had a meeting whit them and its a sure thing that Guns n' Roses are coming, they are the official sponsors...fuck yessssssss, he told me the concert is in late May, early June!!!

 ;) oh and it's Venezuela, not Venezuala  ;)

ok the real source 'bout VR's concert here in Venezuela, is in a latin forum, n also for what I read is in its official site, so that's pretty much what I know, n recently I just heard that GN'R southamerican tour it will be canceled in few  :crying:, it really broke my heart, n as for the tickets... I don't know is like 2 GN'R in here, if it wasn'r for the VR's singer, all perfect, well that's is n I knew it, GN'R it will the next M concert, if they comes  :confused:.
