Not saying anything about his musical ability, but I've always disliked how Finck pulls his big costume changes every so often. I wish he wouldn't try to be so image driven. It keeps me from feeling like I ever really know who Robin is. I wish he'd just be himself... dude who rocks his guitar. He doesn't need to go on Extreme Makeover: Guitarist Edition to win anyone's respect. For the record, I do think a lot of Axl's image changes have been weak and pointless. I'm happy he's where he is now though. Axl looks good these days. And the difference with Pitman is that he always looked fuckin' amazing with his different looks -- the slutty cop, the white suit, the studed leather kilt... Plus, that's kinda what I like about Pitman. He's just this humble, creative dude who's really good with music and technology. Suddenly he finds himself a member of GNR, "the world's most dangerous band." What's a guy like that gonna do? I think it's cute that he thought he needed a bad-ass image back in 2001. He pulled it off really well considering who he is and all. But I'm glad he's more mature and classy these days. He looks positively dashing in that white suit. I'll always support them, but with Buckethead and crazy ass lookin Finck, they were a one of a kind looking band. By the time he joined NIN in 1994, he had that gothic look you speak of.
