well im a bass player, however since ive been searching for a band for so long and cant find a guitarist to do the job properly...ive decided ill do it myself and learn guitar also....

however chords are pissing me off, so damn fiddly.....the changing n shit, i dunno where to put fingers like what orcer or anything...help...please...lol? :'(

Get some chords off the net, get used to the different postions, just to get your fingers stretching. It takes time, don't worry! Even for bassists it's hard gettin the chord positions cause your not used to it. When you get used to the positions start practising sequences of chord shapes. It takes time, don't rush it!

My brother bought a book called "10 minute Guitar Workout" and it helped him a lot. It's for beginners to advanced players and there's progression guides and such like. You can get it in Virgin or off the net, obviously! Probably better than my advice! Mind you i'm an impatient teacher  :hihi:

pick 2 chords and keep switching between them, vary which chords you are using. then your hand gets used to the movements between chords and it becomes easy
