MSNBC reporter just mentioned Slash was at the church.


Apparently the hearse has pulled over to the side of the road, awaiting word of the mother's motion to stop the funeral which apparently was only minutes away from beginning.

This mother is a really sick person.

Among the mourners who have poured into the Bahamian church where Anna Nicole Smith is to be remembered -- none other than ... Guns 'n' Roses guitar god, Slash.

The axeman (real name: Saul Hudson) arrived wearing his trademark long curls and hoop earings, and accompanied by an unidentified hatted woman. Slash was easily identifiable, even from a distance.

I never knew that Slash was friends with Anna Nicole. Cool of him to pay his respects though. I still think its a sad situation all around though.

i take it you missed the memo that was sent to MTV 11 years ago.    Slash WAS in Guns N' Roses.   A long long time ago.

Get a life. A woman is dead and all you can worry about is that some journalist reported Slash as guns n roses guitarist in an article about her funeral. Stop thinking everyone is out to get new GnR like some kind of conspiracy. People still associate Slash with GnR coz nobody knows the new band coz they have no official music of their own. The journalist doesn't have an axe to grind, he just knows most people associate Slash with GnR. Stop being so exact and getting your knickers in a twist over such little things.

The Insider showed video footage of Slash walking in and the announcer called him "Slash of Guns N' Roses fame".

Larry Birkhead, Virgie Arthur and Howard Stern were each allowed to invite 100 people.  I wonder who called Slash? :smoking:

In todays news paper there was an Anna funeral mention, it said 2 big stars were there, (Ex Guns n'Roses Guitarist) Slash and Hulk Hogan. Out of all the celeb's, Slash and Hogan were the only 2 classed as big stars.

On weekend Insider Edition they also referred to Slash as "there's Slash of Guns n' Roses".

You know, I don't care how they refer Slash.? It's not about him, GNR, or VR.

This is about Anna Nicole and obviously, Slash and Perla knew her and they (Slash and Perla) attended her funeral and I find that to be a very nice thing to do.

This has nothing to do with Axl so why do you feel like you have to bring up his name?
