I know I shouldn't even waste my time with this, but why would they announce/unveil the cover art before the release date? What's the point? I could care less what the cover art is. It could be as simple as the GH CD, as long as it's packed with great new songs.  Regardless it's always nice to get a bogus rumor first thing in the morning from someone named "Mysterious Poster".

Didn't Axl say in an interview in 2002 that cover art is done and dusted. This poster is getting my nerves all we want is the truth.

Although I don't agree that 'Chinese Democracy' will be a double-album, I'd say it's pretty much common knowledge that the album's cover art is done. I think it's been done for quite some time...

Still we never know, it may turn out to be true out of blue.

It is not yet official, but wait for an announcement.

+ AXL has 7 albums worth of material, he is currently in the process of choosing the songs that will make it to CHINESE DEMOCRACY.

I do not know if the current lawsuit will delay the album.

i think i like reading these posts about when it will come out.... i tend to want to believe them most of the time.... it gives me hope- its like- maybe the man himself starts some of this but I know thats most likely not the case..... but now I shall hope for seeing the cover at the end of june...

also--- the cover could just be part of some promo ads like chinese democracy coming soon with the cover and then a release date to follow a few weeks later

The thing about Axl unveiling the artwork is true - he showed the original artwork to the crowd at a concert in 2002. I think it was in China. It was described as being a picture of a bike up against a wall with graffiti written on it. This has been confirmed so it's not just a rumor but unfortunately no video exists of this concert.

Obviously the concept has changed since then and BBF even said artwork hasn't been done yet so they're not keeping the bike against the wall (thank god!).

UPDATE:  The cover art is now reported to be a picture of 'Guns n Roses Chinese Democracy' on an etch-e-sketch that is located inside a restaurant in China.

There was never a pic of it. People have made their own versions, of how the original was described. That's all.
