I tried a little background rhythm guitar in Better, not sure if any of it will be used in the final mix or not, we'll see

Tell everyone on the forum I said hi  :D

That isn't anything we didn't know already.

I wonder if the band gets to hear the final mix of this album, before it gets released or if it's all just Axl doing everything.  ???

I'd imagine he'd want at least a few of the guys opinions on such matters.  :help:

And to think Tommy thought he was privy to hearing final mixes in '04...Are these guys even going to be consulted for a promo/release schedule?

It will be cool to have BBF's print on CD.  I just hope that the mixing is completed by the time they go to Japan.  If we can get the final mix done by then, hopefully CD promotion will follow shortly after South Africa.

Yeah, and now we know better. Sorry, had to do it. I think the new leak proved Buckethead will remain anyway, but we'll see.

For some strange reason, I don't think that's what's happening. :headscratch:

I have a feeling that this really is Axl's baby and the album is gonna' sound the way he wants it to, with extremely minimal input from anyone else.

:phone:  <<< Axl calling ALL the shots!!!

:lmao:

That's not revealing "details about better". That's telling us something that he recorded that may or may not be used.

C'mon.

Well, no, because it implies Buckethead's parts are staying. Which is actually quite important.

Yeah they are staying for Better at least. We dont know what else Ron has recorded for.

But I do have to say, the song Chinese Democracy, rocks so much harder with Bumble's contributions to it. Hopefully he recorded for that song on the album. Check out the performance from LA on 12.20.06, its killer. its in the Appetite for Collection section.

^ Indeed!

Bucket said in some chat that he recorded with his fretless for the album. This could mean he will be in the Chinese Democracy song indeed.

Bucket chats? :D

I believe they take what are best for each song.

it`s a shame, that we won`t get to hear bumble on lead on better.....  the solo at the beginning of the heavy part he`s playing live is simply killer imo... :-\

well anyways....   better rocks no matter who`s playing lead guitar : ok:

That's interesting - i wonder if a lot of his contributions are like that, maybe in maybe out. Like did he just record a bunch of parts that may or may not be used in the final mixes?
