The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

Donington Park, which hosted the Monsters of Rock festivals between 1980 and 1996, and 2002's Ozzfest. It takes place in early summer, and is owned and managed by Live Nation, a company owned by Clear Channel Communications. Download festival 2006 ? which featured headliners TOOL, METALLICA and GUNS N' ROSES ? was said to be a huge success, with 75,000 visitors each day. They got a royal bottling at Reading the other year - and deserved too. I know everyone has a right to like the music they like, and I can appreciate MCR have fans - but giving them a headline slot just smacks of the organisers missing out on the some of the many and better bands that will be playing the Euro festival circuit this year (aerosmith for example.)

Can't wait. MCR headling is ridiculas, and linkin park shouldnt be either. My ideal headliners: Metallica, Megadeth and Iron Maiden. Would of been amazing....or aerosmith. ahh well, should be a great weekend. I just can't wait to see SLASSHHHHh =D i love him <3 ahaha and i'll of seen all of the appetite 5 then! Anyway, I saw them at Ozzfest a couple years ago and thought it would still be cool.. They were horrific.. It was one of the cheesiest shows I have ever seen lol... MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE and LINKIN PARK should never be above the likes of VELVET REVOLVER, SLAYER, STONE SOUR, MARILYN MANSON, MEGADETH, M?TLEY CR?E or DREAM THEATER.
