Title: VELVET REVOLVER Confirmed For Finland's PROVINSSIROCK Post by: FunkyMonkey on February 27, 2007, 09:36:58 AM VELVET REVOLVER, LAMB OF GOD, UNEARTH and AIDEN have been confirmed for the 2007 edition of the Provinssirock festival, set to take place June 15-17 in Sein?joki, Finland.
For more information, visit www.provinssirock.fi. VELVET REVOLVER's sophomore album, "Libertad", is tentatively scheduled for release in early June. The band has been recording the CD since the beginning of 2007 in a Los Angeles studio. The group is tentatively scheduled to visit South America in April with AEROSMITH, followed by a U.S. theatre tour in May. VR, Flogging Molly, Patti Smith... Could be a very good year if they get some more great bands (hard to top last year's ruisrock though). |
