Here Today... Gone To Hell!

I honestly think that the LA based band Poets and Pornstars are gonna (or should) be the next big thing as far as new bands are concerned.  They really should be the next opening act for Guns N Roses.  They play down and dirty rock n roll and they have mentioned their love for GNR in previous interviews.

ive seen them open for "Metal skool" like 5 times and i was never impressed.

Paperback Hero is a better band

EDIT just listend to "get your kicks" and it at least the chorus sound a lot like primal screams "rocks"

They're not bad.

Buckcherry would be a better choice though.

I'd place Poets and Pornstars behind PR, and give them a tie with Buckcherry.

Buckcherry sucked major balls at Inland. That singer was such a possseeerrrr.

I saw them at Inland Invasion as well and wasn't very impressed, they just seemed like an average bar band to me.

ive seen the video, he doesnt even say im so high right now or ask the crowd to get high.

Buckcherry are a badass band and live act, the crowd sucked ass there and the singer was pissed at them for being so boring.

Yeah the crowd blew durring Buckcherry's set, not even 1/3 of the people had even arrived yet and the people who were there didn't really seem to care. Looking back I wish now that I would have made more noise and shown some more support for Buckcherry but at the time it seemed kind of akward.

on a rock concert not to make noise and show support for the band would to me be akward

I agree, Poets and Pornstars is a kickass band name, especially when their music backs it up in a non cheesy way!  I mean Guns and Roses could've been a corny name if they hadn't backed it up with some kickass music!
