Here Today... Gone To Hell!

This should be a good topic.
Axl cancelled the end of the tour for jan to finish up CD and said it should be out by march 6th.
He had a lot of time to finish up the album yet still could not do that simple thing. So what is the excuse this time? Does anyone know?

also it was said that it takes 8 weeks once the album is passed it which means CD wont be out until the very earliest in may.

They didn't get into specifics, but the latest update at their official website states there were some problems.

i dunno. same ol things....i mean giving a "tentative date" meant nothing and allowed them wiggle room to then say its not coming out....

We all knew they were not going to make that march 6th date. Well some people did. Now we dont even have another date they are shooting for. They really need to drop this album before the tour in april but that looks unlikely. I dont see how they can tour for the 4th time under the name chinese democracy tour and still not have the album out

Could be negotiations on Geffen's part.  May have nothing to do with the Gunners.

As long as they get the first single out...they'll be fine.  and with a very finished sounding leak...that odds of that aren't impossible.

You really think geffen would not jus take this album and put it out? They want it out ASAP they are not going to delay this album, the only one delaying it is the red head himself.

I have been working. And I am almost always postive. I just call a spade a spade. And I took a break from the BS. We ll see how long that lasts. If good posts start getting deleted again then I will be gone

The album is done being recorded as far as we know. Take it for what it is. Starting useless speculation isn't going to help anyone's case at this point.

Maybe you didn't know, but Axl doesn't mix the album himself. That's why they have engineers.

Look at any of your cd booklets. I'm sure you'll notice that most of them mention somebody other than the band doing the mixing part.
