If you find yourself regularly downloading files from Rapidshare (>300MB), then I suppose an account will help. As far as I've seen, people seem to use the site only when they have to (Bcoz' the idiot who uploaded the file used Rapidshare in the first place). Well, the server on my campus detects all file sharing, torrent software and such. Once it does you get chucked off the network until you apologize. One way around that is to find a nice site like this, www.warez-bb.org (http://www.warez-bb.org), and go about getting your fix of 24, Lost, Prison Break and such from that, seeing as I don't have Sky up here. I like mediafire? which is very very fast and no download restrictions. I stand by my conviction that Rapidshare sucks. I avoid? it whenever? possible, but then again, I understand they are in the business to make money. |
