He did some interviews back in '99 when he left the band to rejoin NIN. There's some of them here:

I would love to read an interview with him. I'm sure he was a key piece in the making of the album. Or even if it's just to talk about the guitars, I would really appreciate that too.  : ok:

If the record or a single is released, I wouldn't be surprised to see one. But until then it will probably just be Ron and occasionally Fortus doing interviews.

His past interviews were great, but if I had to pick an interview from a member or former member I should say it would be BUCKETHEAD.  I wanna know his side of the story!

Him and Chris Pitman need to do some interviews.

"I'd helped write and arrange and recorded enough songs for several records," he says. "Honestly, we recorded so many different song ideas and completed so many different types of songs ? from quiet, very simple traditional piano songs to 16 stereo tracks of keyboard blur and everything in between."

But, he notes, "most of the stronger songs that ended up on A-lists when I was there were huge rock songs, built for the masses, really guitar-driven."

"When he finishes the lyrics, I assume [the songs] are going to be released," Finck says. "I hope they turn out great. There's a lot of potential there."

I Can't wait.. :smoking:

That's from like 8 years ago.  I doubt it's exactly accurate now.

well if this album does indeed come out this year, i dont see why he wouldn't do any interviews. he has been in the band for the longest time (not counting leaving for a bit for NIN) and is pretty much the lead guitarist. so i guess he would.... i think fortus and BBFT will too(real interviews, where they can actually talk about the songs in detail), i mean when the record comes out they will all be in the limelight i guess.

Oh realy,TWAT and IRS is not guitar - driven songs and the potential is no more there. ::)

Yea, but I think the excitment would be over the stuff we don't know about. And this article is pretty useless for that stuff because its so dated.

Id take anything. Rose, Pitman, or Finck. They are by far the quietest members of the band, and the true enigmas. I believe these three members, as well as maybe Stinson, will have the biggest influence on the record, because they keep very silent, like they are hiding something. I think CD's secrets lie within these three.

Useless for you,any article about the recorded sesions of this album is useful and interesting. : ok:

YEa, but the finishing touches and layers of production could have totally changed the sound of the album. For better or worse.

YEa, but the finishing touches and layers of production could have totally changed the sound of the album. For better or worse.

Finck said nothing about the mixing or production of the album,he said about the written prossces and the music.
This interview is old but stil relevant, any info about the album is welcome.

''In addition to the Guns N' Roses' new live lineup, he said material he recorded with ex-Queen guitarist Brian May and A Perfect Circle drummer Josh Freese will also be on the LP''.

Axl said once is one studio line up,and one live band line up to play the songs, thats meets what Finck said here.
AXL said SILMWORKS will be on the second album with Bucket head and Paul Huge Thobias.

We will get on the album.

Drummers Josh,Brain and Frank.
R Guittar Paul Huge Thobias e Richard Fortus.
Lead Guittar Bucket Head,Bumblefoot and Robin Finck maybe Brain May one or two songs.
Base Tommy S.

I would love to see a Robin interview.? I have to admit right when he came into the band a while back I did not like it.? I didn't dig his look at the time and I did not think he was good for GNR.? But I have done a complete 180.? I love this guy and his look and his vibe in the band.? He is a toss up for favorite guy in the band right now. Actually, right now is the perfect band.

Robin speaks less than Axl...I think when the album drops and gnr hit the magazines and radio interviews we will learn more bout the Bird Man

people often forget he has an ongoing interview right on his website.  anyone can send him questions and he often posts his replies on his "Call a Response" section.  Robin just has his own way of talking to us i guess.  8)

Yep. they were really quiet during the break of 2003 ~2005 while the other members were active outside.

BBF does like 20 interviews a day- but I don't think I've EVER read a Chris Pitman interview.
Axl sometimes answers a question or two in Rolling Stone- and Robin hasn't done any recents ones although he does use his website to answer fan questions.

This sort of supports my 3 CD release theory.  : ok:

It could happen and I for one, think it would be fucking brilliant and sheer genius on the part of Axl!!!   :peace:
