Title: Chinese Democracy Perdictions Post by: ChrisPittman on February 23, 2007, 03:41:19 AM It all made sense to me this morning, when I taught about it for a few moments, Chinese Democracy obviously has to be finished by the time Axl goes on tour.? The mixing has to be completed by April 18th (the first Japanese date) because Axl is obviously planning to tour for the rest of the year.
They say, GNR management that is, that hes been writing it and producing it now for 7 years but the fact is that Frank and Bumblefoot were just allowed to waltz in and record their parts so easily (which must mean that he threw out some old recordings, or decided not to use them). Chinese Democracy will be a fraction of what Axl has in storage. Then look at it this way, first he claimed it was Buckethead that stopped the album being recorded, then they said it was the cancelled tour....he took nearly 3 years off (Dec 02-Jan 06) and still no finished album. So he just must not have been writing anything serious in that period He could also be waiting until July 21st 2007, exactly 20 years to the day AFD was released, and that would be a big marketing point for a record company I would say wait patiently until April 18th, and by that time the album will be mxed, and a release date will either be set or announced very shortly. Axl goes on tour, and all the delays of the past are forgotten and we FINALLY get a happy ending! If its going to make an impact Axl needs to be in the media, he needs to be touring Europe, USA and beyond, and the fact that he hasnt no showed once at a concert in 2006/07 without giving a full explanation or cancelling it some time prior to the event actually happening means, i think, that hes committed to making sure as much people around the world see the band before they release their new album. hes attracting both the casual fan as well as the ordinary
