Title: Guns N' Roses Bootleg DVD Guide Post by: Jarl on September 01, 2005, 03:04:34 PM http://dvd.gnr.gr
Now that there are more and more people authoring dvds, we felt it might be handy to get those listed. At the end we would like to have some sort of guide were we can all look up who made what dvd and what info go?s along with it. We are far from ready, still missing a lot of dvds but the start is there. If you think you have authored dvds, and they are not in the list yet, please let us know. Ps: If you want to use pages for your own website be my guest. And thanks to all those who helped out so far. Try their FAQ or Google if you don't know how torrents work. Just do a search for Guns N' Roses on DIME, you will be pretty amazed how many shows you can download there.

Title: Re: Guns N' Roses Bootleg DVD Guide Post by: Drew on November 01, 2005, 06:03:45 PM We are very sorry!
At the moment, there are at least 100,000 registered users at www.dimeadozen.org, the maximum allowed under DIME's current configuration. However, free slots become available for new users daily as inactive accounts are deleted. When DIME has fewer than 100,000 registrants, new users can sign up. Please note that the statistics on DIME's web site are updated every ten minutes; therefore, you may see this message even if the web site reports fewer registered users than the maximum. Thank you very much for your understanding. dimeadozen.org I can't even sign up at DIME simply because I get this message all the time. Johan Nice site and all, but it would be far more beneficial if we could see some screen captures at full resolution, rather than just thumbnails. That doesn't really let us differentiate one from another in some cases. Title: Re: Guns N' Roses Bootleg DVD Guide Post by: robert32 on October 16, 2006, 02:36:14 PM Was just a suggestion. Obviously vob samples are the best to use, but it would be nice to see a site where a full res screen captures were there, rather than having to download inumerate vob samples. For any one particular show, one screenshot from the same frame in the video could be included for comparison. This would allow downloaders to eliminate the "boys from the men" so to speak. Then seek a small number of vob samples beyond that.
Nice site though, like I said originally. Rob. Title: Re: Guns N' Roses Bootleg DVD Guide Post by: don_vercetti on November 23, 2006, 03:05:59 PM We are very sorry! Title: Re: Guns N' Roses Bootleg DVD Guide Post by: zombux on May 24, 2007, 03:02:26 AM the guide will be revamped. I can't give the accurate date, but it will be sometimes during this summer. the current plan includes:
all possible DVD authorings, maybe even SA DVDs, from GNR and all related bands we could add all audio bootlegs and sources downloadable covers at each item comments for people at each item maybe list of all GNR shows, as gnrontour.com is no more updated we wanna build the Number 1 website for GNR collectors, so let us know what YOU would like to see at the guide. we need your ideas. let the brainstorming begin : ok: Title: Re: Guns N' Roses Bootleg DVD Guide Post by: estebanf on May 24, 2007, 03:07:55 AM That would be great Zombux, specially about what you said about audio.
But I dont think its necesary to add EVERY authoring... there can be an infinite number of authorings from the same SA dvd... I dont know why people keeps authoring DVDs that are already authored (perfectly) by several persons, and already circulating. I'm afraid that some people just want to ''have his name'' in the list... If you ever need help with covers or sources/lineages, just give me a shout. Title: Re: Guns N' Roses Bootleg DVD Guide Post by: zombux on May 24, 2007, 03:13:08 AM yeah I know esteban. but I personally think we really need to add each authoring, that's the purpose of the guide, so people know what they get. I know, lots of useless authorings appeared lately.
anyway, adding new stuff to the new guide should be very fast and easy, so this is not a problem Title: Re: Guns N' Roses Bootleg DVD Guide Post by: Briggsy on May 24, 2007, 03:16:27 PM kick ass, can't wait to see the finished product, all sounds great :)

thats what Marc said himself, he posted some audio short clips from 1985 though. and yes, he was interested in creating some early video compilation for the fans....BUT the whole band would have to agree to such a release. and guess why we dont have that one yet? we dont have an direct answer but i would bet a lot that its against the wish from Mr. Redhead :( would be cool to ask Marc about this again!
