no, it's not.
Silkworms, Rhiad, Catcher probably are out.
I would say that TWAT isn't confirmed yet
For me, just Blues, Madagascar, ChiDem and Better will be for sure on the record =)

While no one outside of Axl can be a 100% certain what songs would appear on the album, it is a fair bet that 5 songs often played in concert every night plus TWAT would make the final album.

That being said if you assume there will be 13-14 songs we have heard almost half the album. When you put into perspective how antsy people are to get it but have probably heard about half of it already it is a little peculiar to say the least. It just doesn't seem right for some reason.

While I would love to hear studio versions of every new song played live already, there is part of me that kind of wished the album would be comprised entirely of songs we haven't ever heard.

Silkworms isn't called Silkworms anymore, and will not be on Chi D. But according to Axl, it will be on the 2nd one.

We've heard The Blues, Better, TWAT, CD, Madagascar and IRS.  So 6.

If at least 5 of those aren't on the record, I will, as they say, eat my hat.

I don't believe Catcher in the Rye, OMG, Rhiad or Silkworms will show up.

Why all of U are so sure that Cathcer In The Rye won't be on the album??!! It was rumorred on 2002 to be the first single (even that they filmed scenes from the video in Hong Kong!!), it was mentioned in a lot of interviews, also Brian May talked about his colaboration on that track, also Axl said that will be a song dedicated to John Lennon on CD (Catcher In The Rye, the book that Chapman was readin' while he killed Lennon)... I don't see how are u all that sure that CITR won't be on the album just 'coz they haven't played it live... I think it' a very complex composition for being outtaked from the final cd...
And don't forget that the track was leaked... i think those leaked tracks come from teh Gn'R close circle...

The day when he played the Fashion Show. He never said the new name, but he said it wasn't called "Silkworms"- he said he wrote the "bitch like you" chorus- and he said there's a finished mastered version of it that bucket and paul huge still play on- and it'll probaly end up on the 2nd album.

Thanks for the info...so it seems like Bucket work will be not re-recorded.
Paul Huge Tobias will make the final cut too nice info. : ok:

I still think some of Bucket's parts are being re-recorded with BBF.

But Axl did say the finished mastered version of the song Silkworms (not the title anymore) will appear on the 2nd CD. And it'll blow our minds. (He was talking to a Pitman fan mind you).

id love to see citr and omg on there. but i think theres little chance of the former, and pretty much no chanc for the latter.

i remember when i heard it back in 99, i thought it was exactly the kinda thing he should do. great song. not just noise with no real hook, like so much "industrial" stuff.

If it was produced with more of a hardcore/metal edge and less synth (uh oh) then I would agree with you.

I don't think Pitman even played on that song. Although he was in the band at the time.

I think a reworked version could be really good.

Don't ask me why I think this way, its just a strong hunch I have, but I think that the big majority of those songs will not be included on Chinese Democracy.

Yeah Catcher should and I think WILL be on the album.  Just because they haven't played it live doesn't mean shit.

People just assume because it's not played it's not on the album... no other reason.

And 4tus "confirmed" (well he "said" I think it a better way to put it) that CITR WOULD be on the album.

So there is in fact a better chance of it being there, than not in my opinion.

What is any of this based on?!!

Axl told RS that his favourite songs off the album are the blues and better, so I think you can add that to the definite list, although fo anyone, bar Axl, to be "definite" about something is a bit prosumptious, but I see where you're coming from.

Also the fact TWAT was released/leaked on purpose and played live a couple of times would indicate that should be more a definite than not.

Calm down, it's not your biopsy.

I put Blues and TWAT off the definite list since they haven't been mentioned by Axl since early last year. Sorry (Baz), Better (HD ad), Madagascar (Axl, parkinsons) and CD (title track).

Prostitute and If The World (setlist pic)

TWAT, Blues, IRS (played live last year)

The others are just confirmed titles.

Sorry didn't mean to give the impression I was angry or anything.... I was just asking....

Didn't know about the Madagascar mention at the Parkinson's thing - what was said?!!

Regarding the blues... if it's his favourite off the album and has been played on every show of the tour, then I just thought that's a good reason to put it pretty high on your predictions list. ?And Axl not mentioning the blues since last year isn't much to go on - he's said fuck all about CD or virtually any song on it since then!! ?

Yeah take your point about TWAT... I just think because of the leak it must be a favourite too, and it's been attempted live (I think they only didn't play it because Axl can't do it justice), but we're all guessing at the end of the day!!

It's impossible to really "prove" Axl said those words.
Since it was just mentioned to a fan when the fan asked about Pitman and Silkworms, etc.

He said Bucket & Paul Huge still play on the finished mastered version of the song Silkworms turned into. I don't know if that was previously mentioned. And it'll blow us away or something like that.

I like Buckethead too. His solo work.

But I think he gets too much credit for the amazing TWAT solo. It was written by Zakk Wylde.
There was an article that said Zakk wrote Bucket's solo in TWAT even before the song leaked.
