Dave - his FLAC was the source of my splits that we traded. I'll post the splits here soon, 'till then, they're up for trade.

Thanks for this much needed upgrade.

The old sources of this legendary gig were highly overrated.? We got robbed with that old shit mix.

This how it was supposed to sound.

Hey Imsorry, can you tell me the software you used to clean this?

Just curiosity, and I would like to add that info in the lineage  : ok:

Thanks again.

Audio Editor wavelab 6
To clean the audio Soundsoap Pro
To EQ SSL Duende VST
To Compress and loudness RComp From Waves
And to make sure it dont clip i use a limiter from kjaerhus Audio

And to add a little fake crowd (very little) i used my old pro tools TDM 6.4 dont have money to buy a new card  :hihi:

Imsorry,
You did a GREAT JOB cleaning the sound. I can't wait to listen to your next remaster.
In my opinion, you don't need to add anything to a show when you remaster it.
But if you want or like to add anything, you should have let us know in your first post.
Something like: FLAC==>WAV remastered (crowd noise added)=>MP3
If you let us know what you did to the sound, we can love it for what it is: a great GNR show with GREAT sound quality (thanks to the original recording AND to your remaster) and some additional crowd noise.
What do you think? Is this a fair request?
Keep on rockin!

Fair enough ,the only reason i added some crowd noise was cuz after cleaned it  the crowd noise was pretty bad the original actually sound bad after spend some time on it why not make it even better u still can hear totally the original one the added was just to  make it nicer.
The other Boot i have made and added crowd was the live era 87 93 one due to various source and try to make it an one concert only like any live concert officially released  ::)

That is nice to know!

BTW, like I said, I can't wait to listen to your next remaster. I'd like to know if there is anything you can do to "improve" the sound quality of a average/bad audience recording. Let's say, for example, some of those shows from 1991 (with Izzy) when GN'R played Coma and Locomotive...

06.04.91 - Richfield Coliseum, Richfield, OH
07.19.91 - Shoreline Amphitheatre, Mountain View, CA
07.30.91 - Great Western Forum, Inglewood, CA
08.03.91 - Great Western Forum, Inglewood, CA

I have recordings of these shows but they are all audience recordings and they are NOT GOOD! Would it be possible for you to remaster these bad recordings and turn them into something that would be pleasing to listen to?

Keep rockin!

Yeah, you are absolutely right. I have issues. Many issues. Trying to get as many great GN'R boots to listen to is just one of them.

I happen to have Maxxximum on silver CD. You may think it sounds great. I don't think that way.

Great sound?

Ritz 1988, Pasadena 1987, Japan 1988, Indiana 1991, Rio 1991, Marquee 1987 (thanks to imsorry!) are great to me.

I hate to have issues. Maybe I should try to solve them, so I'd be happy like you. Right?

Maxxximum is a great bootleg because of the huge setlist, but it sucks about sound quality.

imsorry... you should mix Donnington Aud w/ Monitor Mix and do your 'remastering' (or whatever it is you do exactly)... but I'm sure you've already thought of it...

There is a quite nice sounding recording of this show that was torrented on Dime last year.  It's very low gen. transferred from the master cassettes.  I am actually listening to it right now, and it's one of the best sounding 1991 shows with Izzy.
