Title: Question about Robin Finck/ The New Line-up
Post by: Millions on February 13, 2007, 12:14:18 PM

Hey everyone, I was wondering if you could give me your opinions about Robin Finck and his previous music recordings available to buy?

Ie - all I can find listed is the Ghost of Mars thing with Buckethead, but I can't find it anywhere. Has anyone out there heard it? What is it like? Is it, you know.... any good?

And what about the Cirque de Soleille stuff? Anyone know anything about that?

Another question - I saw highlights of the download festival on channel 4 last night - and it is pretty much my first chance to see the new guys in action and what they look like. Who was the guy in the smart white shirt and sensible shirt on guitar - he looked like a fn schoolteacher or something....!

Thanks, everyone - just trying to get a bit of info on the new line-up.

John.

You want some info on the new band? Instead of asking us go to youtube.com and look up guns n roses 2006....everything you want is there.

The questions I was asking can't really be answered on a site like youtube. I was more interested in getting people's opinions. Thanks for trying though.

i tell you what millions... forget the snide remarks you asked a legit post.

robin finck is one of my favorite guitarists (my username is a reference to him after all), i always tell G n R fans that if your interested in Robin check out the NIN live DVD 'all that could have been' he's pretty awesome on that... his playing is so exciting. the other NIN video (that is supposed to be released on DVD soon) 'closure' is a good artifact of his playing as well.

here's the teaser trailer for the first DVD i mentioned:

hope this helps.

agreed.  Robin was an equal to Trent on that stage back in his NIN days.

Due to the record company dragging their feet on releasing Closure, the NIN camp leaked a prototype DVD to the Pirate Bay. Just do a search there for NIN Closure and a few different versions should come up.
