Title: What's the Deal???? Post by: phi_kai_phi on February 11, 2007, 03:36:24 PM Okay... so referring to this segment of Axl's open letter...
"With that being said, this is not a promise, a lie or a guarantee, but we do wish to announce a tentative release date of March 6. This is the first time we have done this publicly for this album. Others have made up all the other dates for their own reasons. We would like to assure the fans that everything in our power will be done to meet this date. Once it is finalized and official, you will be notified. If we are delayed for unseen reasons, you also will be notified as soon as possible in regard to a new date, and the album will be released as shortly thereafter as is possible. We thank you for your patience." Obviously, there is no release date, and March 6th doesn' t appear to be in the picture. What's going on??? With March 6th out of the way, I'm sure Axl knows it will be delayed. Why are we not hearing anything about the new album?? Title: Re: What's the Deal???? Post by: AxlReznor on February 11, 2007, 03:40:12 PM Because at the moment there's no information to give? ?So he's keeping quiet so he can say, "Unfortunately it won't be released on March 6th, but I can tell you it WILL be released on...". ?And then people won't be on his back as much as they would be if all he gave was the bad news with no good news to fall back on. ?That's the way I see it, anyway.

April's not too far away, it can't be long before some kind of official announcement is made. Let's hope it isn't made on April 1st, though.
