Well, this can't be a good sign.

How is it a bad sign..we already know GN'R is starting their tour or whatever in April. So it makes no difference. The album will prolly be released around that time.

I agree. Why the hell would they be playing all of March if the album is coming out March 6th. Not happening.

Cool, Dizzy finally realised there was more to Florida then just the Pan Handle. I guess those tour dates down here in October paid off. I'm going to West Palm and Orlando. : ok:

Fuck!  i would LOVE to see HNB!!  but they always seem to tour the east coast...i do see a new mexico date in there this time, but they need to come to VEGAS!!  We got plenty of Jager for Dizzy here!!

And I don't think that there's some unwritten rule saying band members can't be playiing or be active with other acts when an album is released.  So Dizzy MIGHT be playing w/ HnB when Chinese Democracy comes out...so what?  GnR doesn't have to be on the road touring the day/week/month CD is released...

So the studio in NYC wasn't booked to rehearse, oh christ. How much more can I take?

Don't you think the BAND should be working together leading up to and during the Release. Doing videos, personal appearences, radio interviews, magazine interviews (in Dizzy's case Keyboard) etc. There must be so much shit to do that is more productive than playing a bunch of fuckin' Stones' covers in a half empty club.

But hey, if the boss lets him and it's fun who am I to judge.

Dizzy was just on WZZO 95.1 here in NW NJ. The station is out of Allentown though. I only caught the last couple seconds where he was saying they were sorry they had to cancel the show in the Sterling Hotel tonight, but they will reschedule and be back very soon.

I was at the last Hookers show of the tour. Feb 25th in Farmingdale NY.
There were 4 other guys from HTGTH there. Because of the show being booked on short notice, plus during the onset of the worst Long Island snow storm of the year, this show had under 20 people at it! The band still completely rocked for this tiny crowd, which is the mark of musicians that do it for the love of the game.  Here is the setlist:

During the 3 verse Pretty Tide Up, Dizzy said "Cider Ranch Dressing".. I laughed.

Meeting Dizzy Reed was a big deal for me because November Rain and Estranged are what got me into GN'R, and more than that got me into music. Great show.

Damn that sounds like it rocked... I wish a boot would surface w/ a setlist like this!!

Don't Cry was played in FARMINGDALE NY...sorry i left it out.

Also as for gear.. they rolled up in a mini-van.. i helped load in.All they brought were guitars, cymbol stands (not in a case) and the keyboard.

I wish GN'R would play more UYI songs.. but remember we aren't the only ones at the show.
There are hundreds of people filling the arenas that only want to hear the greatest hits. When you are playing all the most popular Guns songs plus Chinese Democracy, it doesn't leave time for Pretty Tied Up or Bad Obsession.

With that in mind I hope Hookers N Blow do more tours like that... and maybe play Breakdown or Estanged next time.
