Title: Tabla Post by: Mal Brossard on January 28, 2007, 11:02:57 AM This is kind of an offshoot of the sitar thread, but does anyone play the tablas? I've thought about getting a set once I have a little more money, but I don't know what to buy or how much it will cost me.

I just want to be able to come up with some cool sounds from it. I'm mainly a drummer, with most of my background coming in concert band and orchestral percussion, so I'm thinking/hoping it might come a little easier.
