Title: The Hubble Deep Field: The single most important image ever taken? Post by: Evolution on January 26, 2007, 11:14:03 PM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcBV-cXVWFw&mode=related&search=
Has anyone else seen this video before? I was combating being unable to fall asleep last night by talking about the Universe and the Big Bang with a mate, but this blows away things that we were discussing. It's such a weird concept to grasp, that the universe is never ending. Title: Re: The Hubble Deep Field: The single most important image ever taken? But it makes you wish you could be there huh? Some people when they die say "I've been all around the world.. seen all cultures and societys I can die peacefully." But.. none of us will EVER go there. Ever. Isn't that insane? Mankind will NEVER go to those places. No matter what. Even if we could travel at light speed it would take 86 billion years. (Not to mention that because of time lapse the galaxys don't really exist anymore.. so we can't go to them.. no matter how fast we travel) Makes everything seem so trivial. Title: Re: The Hubble Deep Field: The single most important image ever taken? Post by: Where is Hassan Nasrallah ? on January 27, 2007, 05:28:43 AM what's the big deal ?
why was there a kid singing ? and -jack-, you're wrong we could go there. it's not about how fast your travel, it's about through what means: dimensions, holes, curved space ... there is nothing crazy about this video :( Title: Re: The Hubble Deep Field: The single most important image ever taken? We'll find a way to fold space allowing instant travel....yes..... Title: Re: The Hubble Deep Field: The single most important image ever taken? Post by: Axlfreek on January 27, 2007, 06:02:28 PM Im definatly gonna have my ashes rocketed into space when i die
am i going crazy or did i actually see a fat kid sing techno during the video ? Title: Re: The Hubble Deep Field: The single most important image ever taken? Post by: jabba2 on January 28, 2007, 12:59:22 PM Im pretty sure the universe is actually part of many universes that are connected somehow. So the universe is not never ending. Its pretty big but there are others outside the "walls" of this universe. All with different properties and dimensions. That theory is kind of accepted as fact now in science. Could even be possible to visit them in 1,000,000 years.? If anyone gets the science channel they talk about topics like this alot.?Once they had a show about our milky way eventually colliding with a much bigger galaxy thats getting closer, and they had a computer generated image of what it looks like when they collide. The bigger galaxy wins.

what was with that?? Comment on youtube: "all that is not the slightest bit important. learn about and take interest in your part of the galaxy and its inhabitants. your house and your family. that is the only thing thats worth thinking about. fuck the rest " Hmmm... I have to agree in part. |
