i have been a fan of HTGTH for a few years now, but never registered. you guys have kept me informed and entertained for that many years, so thank you. I am from South Africa, the tiny, amazing country at the bottom of Africa. If you haven't been i say get here, you won't be disappointed! and that is extended to Guns n Roses. For over twenty years we have been waiting for them to tour South Africa. They do have people here that will come see them. they are huge here, or were in their heyday, which shall return! so when all of you are talking about the gunners touring your part of the woods, try remember that there are those of us who have never, ever had the fortune of seeing this amazing band live. Hi booker t, welcome to the board. :beer: I knew quite a few people from south Africa. They told me GNR was very popular there as well. The offspring, live, violent femmes, black eyed peas, iron maiden, rolling stones and METALLICE have all been here to name a few and the concerts were sold out. The enormity of Guns n Roses is enough to sell out a venue in Cape Town or Johannesburg.
One in a milllion would go down here because people will take it in the vein it was meant to be. There's a lot of tolerance in south africa, besides our past and some lingering issues resulting from the past, people - new south africans- are really pulling together to create something extraordinary... who wouldn't want to live in a country with freedomg, beauty and the hottest chicks on the planet! South Africa wasn't communist in those days. we were a so called democracy with apartheid. that's why they were blacklisted. the white south african government called the ANC and other freedom fighters communist to garner support from other countries fighting communism. but you are right.
