Here Today... Gone To Hell!

My son plays ice hockey and was in a tournament over the weekend.  Some kid on the other team cross checked a kid on my son's team and when he fell, the kid put his hand in his skate and twisted it so the kid on my son's team punched him.  He was ejected from the game for punching.  The next day the kid on my son's team was standing in the lobby with his jacket on that has his number on it.  This lady walked up to him and said "You're the kid that was thrown out of the game yesterday, right?"  The kid said yes and that lady slapped him in the face and told him to never hit her kid again!  The kids are 11 and 12!!

Hope the kid slapped that bitch back.

So the lady answered violence with violence...I don't think we've ever seen this before!   :hihi:

Now, the kid on your team who punched another kid was in the wrong.  He should be suspended for a few games at least.  On the athletic field, you answer a cross-check with a cross-check.  Keep it legal.  If there's a foul committed, the officials will take care of it. 

Boy, where would a youth hockey player get the idea to punch another hockey player?  NHL maybe???

He was suspended from the next game - that's hockey.  The mom was out of her mind.  I wouldn't hit my own kid in the face let alone someone else's kid.   His mom is having her arrested.

ok im ignoring all this other rubush.... parents should be barred from games and made to watch cctv after the game is over.


but where do ye play hockey at?........ ejected from the game and a game suspension for a punch...... im guessing that it must be your local mha that is puttin that into effect. here a punch gets u a 2 min minor for roughing. Multiple pnches gloves on 2 and 10, and usually they end up being coinsiding minors, and the 10 is to the player for unsportsmenlike conduct. drop gloves 5 min maj and a game misconduct. if in the last 10 mins gone for next game as well.

and u know whats funny........ is that mom that smacked the kid.......i jsut find it funny......not the fact that she hit the kid... jsut the fact that shes now fucked no mater how this plays out.... she will be banned from the local rink....... and most likely all rinks in the state.

The police should have been called. If an adult hits a child like that, it is against the law. Zero fucking tolerance for that shit.

But yeah, that kind of things keep happening.. I've played football/soccer since I was 6-7yo and I've seen alot of stuff like that in tournaments and matches. It's always sad to see mature people losing their heads just for these stupid things.

These are kids, not the NHL.  They are learning hockey, not boxing. ;)

She's banned from our rink for sure and the board is working on other details.

Thank goodness she didn't hit my kid or I would be in trouble now.

Arrest her - no questions about it.  If I was the parent of the kid who got slapped I'd be livid.

i played soccer for 15 years
and kids / parents we fighting every sunday ! it was fun !

i only think, parents should fight parents, and kids fight kids ! it's cool
