here's mine :
1. The first single would be BETTER. and axl show up with no beard in first videoclip.
2. A lot of people in this board complain about how The Bluesand TWAT change so much.
3. This I love would be the second single and its huge hits.
4. GN'R would fill a movie soundtrack.
5. GN'R change the world of music.
6. Axl in the cover of Rolling Stone

the only prediction i will make is that when chinese democracy is released i will show my arse in the window of my local hmv. ?i hope that is gonna be on the 5th of march (in the uk) and i look forward to it. ?however, i am not sure how my fellow shoppers will feel.

There's nothing substantial indicating that BH will not feature on the album.

The 2nd will follow shortly after. Well maybe in the summer 2008 but still not too long.

What a coincedence, I wrote nearly the exact same post....in 2002.

CD will be out at one time, but as I've been down the roads before I limit myself to hope instead of predictions.

My guesses:

There'll be a video of the first single out.

The album will be released.

It'll be sold on iTunes, maybe with some bonus like a video or bonus track(s).

The band will tour around the world and play for fans who haven't seen the band yet, as well as play for fans who were fortunate enough to experience the band live in 2006.

People who can't accept change will complain, the rest will be happy.

According to Mysteron it will even be released on vinyl, so I'm guessing you should find it in the store as well then.

The only confirmed insider on the boards. Been around since 2003, but hasn't posted much since GN'R became active again. Do a search.

my predictions:

1: Better be released with video, on the bands official website! First maybe just a clip, then when the song hits the radio, the whole song will be broadcasted on www.gunsnroses.com
 
2: The online shop will get alot of new ithems, like official posters, t-shirts.
3: They will announce a World Tour along with the official releasedate.
4: The band/some bandmembers doing a promotour for Chinese Democracy
5: The album will be released, and get great and suprising reviews from the fans and papers
6: A couple of weeks after the album release, a DVD from one of the shows in europe will be released.

Although loud on the net, such pure anachronisms are not with the public. Actually they are on the verge of extinction as we speak.
The number of the rest, the happy people will go right in increasing big time.

Cool topic... here're my completely baseless insights into the future:

1.  Better will be the first single, and the second single will be another rock track - Not the usual rocker/ballad/rocker formula.

2.  Catcher in the Rye will not show up on CD, but will show up on the following album.

3.  CD will get strong reviews from a very surprised music press - Though some will not like the album's scope and change of pace.

4.  The album will come with a bonus dvd.

5.  The best song will most definitely be something we've yet to hear.

6.  IRS will be cut from the album (wishful thinking on my part - I'd even trade IRS for Silkworms if I had my way!)

How do you figure "This is love" to be the second single?

Do not understand why alot of people are talking about songs like "prostitute" and "sorry" as they have heard it...For all we know maybe they didnt even make the album..ok I think they will but you get the point.

3.World Tour including the Isle of Wight on June 10th : ok:
4.Public acclaim from Slash and Duff that the album is a True Guns 'n Fucking Roses master piece laying to rest that the band is isn't just Axl and some session musicians

First single (Better probably, with a few live bonus tracks in about a month)

Then CD in March, which will become a more then expected success from the beginning.

Successfull europe tour followed by the US and japan/australia tour at the end of 2007

In the meantime more singles follow and will become hits

Because of the exceptional great album they can choose from a lot of songs a a single and also due to touring the second album will be extremely delayed,  to mid 2009 (but hey that's not too bad, we are trained for much worse in the last 15 years)

So I hope Chinese Democracy will become a 2CD, or will at least have 16 songs,
but I will be happy with just 12   :peace:

I don't know. I had dream a last week. in my dreams i heard This i love , its sound like november rain mixed with dust in the wind. strange but very beautiful song. and Better would be no 1 in charts. but didn't make a big hits. the other song did.
