CDWOW is pretty big over here in the UK, online supplier of cds,dvds etc. They have never listed Chinese Democracy before, unlike HMV etc.

This thing reminds me of..."people will hear some music this year" or "fall, late fall" or "it is this year" or 12 tuesdays between now and the end of the world...so boring...But the track list looks good though ?:)

Yeah thats how they are so cheap. Most of play.com's stuff comes from Jersey in a similar way, avoiding duty etc.

CD Wow is quite big...they are an online retailer for CDs and DVDs based in HongKong. They ship to all of Europe; ordered myself there a couple of times. It is very interesting to see them list it, because usually they do not advertise CDs long before the release. If I would not know better then I would think that a release is very close!!!!!

I know, but still cheap. I don't buy many CD's anymore, but still expect to pay more than that. Maybe ?9.99.. Still, is it worth saving the extra couple of quid to wait for delivery... Naaah.

i saw that picture used on a dvd cover for a movie a few months ago. don't remember what movie it was.

I bought Tool - 10,000 Days for 9.99$ Canadian the day it came out. So that's pretty much average. The labels are now paying for the lawsuits, price fixing, root kits, etc. They need to do everything they can to regain consumer trust.

Somehow I doubt that's the artwork.

I hope not.  I personally don't like that cover at all.  Not quite as "epic" or "timeless" as the UYI covers, or AFD, really. 

But really, I'm not about to gripe about the artwork.  If the album comes in a brown paper bag, I could care less.

And I can't imagine that tracklist as accurate...

Agreed, I doubt the artwork and tracklisting, but I really can't see that fairly large online retailers would have people going through internet forums looking for CD release dates, I think they must have heard the date elsewhere.

Isn't that equivalent to $15 in the U.S.? So what's so shocking about it? It's NOT a double album so there's really no reason the price should be higher than that.

Another useless "OMG, THIS SITE HAS CD UP TO BUY!!" thread. If there were so reliable, they wouldn't put up a fake album cover and track listing.

Dizzy has said that Rhiad and Silkworms won't be on the album, and they're not going to put a 7 year old soundtrack song on the album either - re-recorded version or not.

In the UK, we pay more, so the rest of the world can have cheaper goods, so get down on your knee's and thank us : ok:? :)

I still dont understand how people still think March the 6th is the date, Axl said "tentative". Promotion has not even started yet, Id bet $1000 right now that we dont get it on the 6th.

I'm sure that CD will have the same intro, which kinda sucks for me because I much pefer the old intro.

I like the Chinese sound before the song, but once the guitar kicks in I pefer the old intro.

I really doubt that's the actual track list.  I wouldn't get too upset at this point...

everyone needs to stop freaking out. do u realize how many fake tracklists we've seen over the years? even on sites like this??? its just a compilation of rumored titles and some new tracks that were played live etc... thats why it says "provisional track list".

You can't be serious... the new intro made me really like the song. I always said that CD is good but nothing impressive... but damn, after this new intro and new notes, new solo... I loved it!

I don't care either way. I like both versions of CD. 2002 & 2006.

I'll have more faith when amazon (uk, as thats where i am) have it staring you in the face on the music section with the tracklist, artwork, price, and pre-orderable.

I think they have had it at the end of the list of GnR stuff in the past (without art or track list i think), but they probably wont really push it til the date is irreversibly official.

I'll then really believe it when ive heard it a couple times. That said, i am an optimist where march is concerned. Especially as axl said he'll tell us if things go wrong, so im operating on the no news is good news principle at the moment.

It depends, sometimes people who have pre-ordered CD's get them on the Saturday before the release date and sometimes they don't arrive until the tuesday or wednesday after.

Cdwow is a big organisation and they dont list items lightly.
