There is no need for the sarcasm, surely? Mike Condescending is the word you're looking for. And yes, 2000 Intensions was the intended name for the album until the millenium rolled by. Then it became Chinese Democracy. Perhaps Armageddon is up next? Title: Re: 2000 Intentions? Post by: St.heathen on January 04, 2007, 03:32:51 PM I seem to remember reading it in Kerrang! first in 1999. They had some song titles too from what i can remember. 8 years later..... lol
Title: Re: 2000 Intentions? Post by: Voodoochild on January 04, 2007, 03:33:45 PM The question is about where it came from.
I dunno.. Maybe the SPIN magazine with speculation...? Edited: or Kerrang, as St.heathen just said. :P Title: Re: 2000 Intentions? They had some song titles too from what i can remember. 8 years later..... lol Here's the song titles. It's strange that these are all titles we havent heard anything of since this article. Who knows if it was real?"Something Always" "Strange Disease" "Suckerpunched" "Cock-a-roach Soup" "Closing in on You" "Friend or Foe" "Hearts Get Killed" You would think they would have named 1 of the 14 songs we know. (the 10 ones weve heard, prostitute, if the world, sorry, this i love) Oh well. Title: Re: 2000 Intentions? Post by: jonnybgoode82 on January 04, 2007, 03:38:57 PM Kerrang got in trouble for that article because it encouraged people to use P2P downloading software. Essentially they went on Kazaa typed in new Guns N' Roses and made an entire article about it.
Title: Re: 2000 Intentions? Post by: jarmo on January 04, 2007, 03:50:00 PM I think it was one of those "Internet rumors".
/jarmo Title: Re: 2000 Intentions? Post by: Chief on January 04, 2007, 03:51:33 PM ok that's what i kind of suspected.. just a rumor. thanks,

Post by: polluxlm on January 04, 2007, 04:00:57 PM Maybe they are the names of the tracks from the lost album?
Title: Re: 2000 Intentions? Post by: Will on January 04, 2007, 04:41:22 PM I do think it came from the internet, but there was some kind of truth behind it, a "close source" or "studio source" leak or something.
Title: Re: 2000 Intentions? Post by: The Legend on January 04, 2007, 07:03:18 PM I prefer Chinese Democracy anyways to that title.
Title: Re: 2000 Intentions? Post by: thealterman on January 04, 2007, 10:19:12 PM I remember reading somewhere a long time ago, that it was going to be called 2000 intentions. Don't shoot me if i am wrong, but there used to be a pretty good message board at called 2000intentions. I think it became chinesedemocracy.com. I could be wrong, but i do remember a pretty good website back in the day.
Title: Re: 2000 Intentions? Post by: freedom78 on January 04, 2007, 10:52:41 PM I'm glad the millennium rolled by without the album, with that title, coming out. Think of all the stupid millennium gimmicks that aren't important anymore.
And, of course, some would start the typical: "But the millennium starts in 2001...so he got the album title wrong!" argument...and that would get annoying. Title: Re: 2000 Intentions? Post by: eraser on January 04, 2007, 11:50:04 PM I'm glad the millennium rolled by without the album, with that title, coming out. people should never say they are happy gnr didn't release something ;) i would have been very happy with a "2000 intentions" in 1999, followed by another great album in 2004 and with CD closing the triology in 2007.. i really hope the other half of CD is pretty good.. i'm getting tired of those leaks / live versions... :nervous: Title: Re: 2000 Intentions?
