Looks like you might just get some of that bluesy sound a lot of y'all are starved for.  The two song clips sound extremely promising.  The one song has a VERY "Norwegian Wood" kinda feel.

I hate when bands put tiny clips, cause u cant really hear enough to form an opinion.

Sounds extremely promising though.

Nice to see Duff back in the Conductor Position playing Guitar. :hihi: :hihi:

Cool bassline from Duff in the first snippet, and it sounds pretty cool so far. But come on VR, show us some of the heavy rocking stuff!

A great song is a great song whether its rocking or slower. I'm guessing Libertad  will be a lot more classic sounding than Contraband which experimented with lower bass/guitar tuning, different guitars/amps. I just hope it's full of great songs. You don't mess with a good song. Take the orginal version of YGNR & Slither for example vs the polished album version. I can't wait to here these guys groove. I would like for Duff's bass to be more noticeable and groovy like it was in GN'R on songs like Brownstone, you could be mine, nightrain. I just want the guys to do what they do best. I don't need to here them copy the Doors here and the Beatles there just fuckin rock and find your own sound! Which is what GN'R & STP did.

I'm not sure why you quoted me, I like their slower songs, but I just wanna hear what new rockin stuff they've come up with too. : ok:

thats what i thought when i heard it
would be cool for 1 song but i wouldnt want VR to spent the whole album trying to be The Doors

the acoustic bit in the video with Slash, Duff and Dave on guitars was cool

im looking forward to hearing it

Cool clip, thanks. This is the way a band should keep in touch with its fan  base.
