i find this problem anymore.getting deleted for going off topic.now i wonder why that is ?
anyone else get deleted for going off topic or saying something they shouldn't ?
cause im just getting frustrated with censorship around here.

no but I do notice how they love to lock topics that are interesting...like the Foo Fighter/GNR topic from a few days ago...but they will leave up topics that speculate over the last time Axl took a shit....i got this morning by the way!! i called it!

anyway, lots of members gets their posts deletd 'cuz they are off-topic and the mods think those off topic posts can be made as PMs..
a way to get your off topic posts kept in the thread is to start your post by "this will probably get deleted" and then you post your offtopic thingie then you post a little bit on topic and it will most of the times not get deleted :rofl:

And Horsey, your topics aren't exactly 'logical' 90% of the time. :hihi:

Look, I don't know how many times I have to say this: If you want to discuss another artists, that's not GN'R, do so in the right section. The GN'R section is not for discussions about how much you (dis)like the Foo Fighters or any other artist.

No-one is forcing you to be here. If you're "getting frustrated with the censorship around here" - then go find another forum. Its as simple as that.

Well, still - it gets old after a while. It seems like the only posts that Horsey makes are "OMGZ I WANT TO FUCK AXL!!!11!!!!ONE!!!" posts. I can do without.

If I put a user on ignore, will it hide all of their posts from them?

Hey, I just had one deleted and I don't even think it was really off-topic.  I suppose I'm biased, though...

i just had a comment removed as well-? it was under "Please help I need inspiring axl photo"? thread in the main section-? ?the second post was a pic of axl at the vmas, and my post was "^^^enough said, i'm inspired^^"? as its a picture i really like of axl

- and both the pic and my comment about it was removed?? ? i dont get how that was off topic at all??

The trick is  to go off topic in the categories where the mods don't frequent (he he).Really, some categories  are  moderated more than others. Don't tell the mods, keep this to yourself, it will be like the WW2 underground, the partisans, the freedom fighters. No one will know  except those who should, you know, the resistance to the gestapo, the ones fighting for truth and  justice.  ;)

Just you mention it oft is all, and I thought that a doctor, or whatever you are (graduate, likewise or whatever), would realise that while there are rules that probably deserve their criticism (instigate debate n' all), that which lead to the thinking behind your negative karma clearly isn't one such example.

I am not bitter at all. I think it is humorous and I try to bring out the humor through my comments. I try to bring a bit of wit and sense of humor to this board, and at times, maybe some sarcasm.  ;) You can only be bitter at something that you care about, and this is all just fun and games, nothing serious (although some people here take it VERY seriously). So I assure you that I get up each morning with a smile  and my face and a pleasant disposition (although some mornings it  depends on how much was imbibed the night  before).

As for anarchy, I seem to recall a certain GNR song that praised anarchy (Get in the Ring), and since this board is dedicated to that band, sure, I subscribe in spirit if not exactly in practice.

So we're all cleared  up, mate?
