Hammerstein May 15th, MSG November 10th. The show on the 10th was the best show I have ever been to. The energy in the Garden was out of this world.

Agreed, Tampa was the best show I've ever been to. I give them alot of credit for the Estero show, though. The place was close to half empty but they put on a show worthy of a sold out Madison Square Garden.

I know alot of people who felt this way. They've completely changed their tune now! Glad you had a rockin time!

Well, plus I think in 2002, things weren't right. The band's image was all wrong, instrumentally they were sounding too techno & synth-ed up, and Axl's voice was all messed up. At the the time we didn't want to believe it because we were so happy to have them back, but with 2006 we have a comparison.

I'm not trying to trash anything, but 2002 vs. 2006 is night and day.

2006 has been a whole 'nother experience. This is classic Guns, yet Guns for the 21st century. Rocking, keeping it real, yet exploring new territory.

This was my first time seeing the band in general. I was originally going to my first GNR show in West Palm Beach in 2002, but we all know that ended being canceled - I still have my ticket though. :) I was dying to go to more shows, especially Jacksonville & Worcester, but I just couldn't make it.

Being up there right in front of Axl and Tommy and just seeing a band I never thought I'd see live was just a life changing experience. Being crushed by the people next to me was well worth it since it was a hell of a night. This band highly surpassed my expectations. Mind you, I am very open to the post-UYI line up and I don't care which band is playing, just as long as Axl is on vocals.

Every Musician in this band is just phenomenal. They deserve a lot of respect for the time and effort they put into every single show.


I know I've thanked this guy a million times, but I've just got to thank CocaineTongue22 yet again for selling me the floor tickets. The concert was a million times more then what I could of dreamed it would of been.

Dec 10 Everett WA Everett Events Center Best nite of my life, was 10 feet away from Axl one of the most exciting things i've ever had the privlidge of doing.

21/09-Saint John,New Brunswick

   my mom told me i could go see GNR if they came closer than halifax or quebec and the night after i checked htgth and the saint john date was on there,...i was supposed to go with this girl alyssa but she couldnt make it so me n my best buddy wayne left school at 2:30 right before i had math with my bitch of a teacher,...we got front row...it was amazing...during sweet child i yelled out to bumblefoot,being a fan of the new band,i knew his name before axl introduced the band...he looked right at me,nodded ,waved,n smiled and then went back to playing and at the end of paradise city I got too touch his guitar,...I'll never forget that night :beer: :smoking: :peace:

i wish i could end up being that close.  if i bought GA tickets no one i know would wait with me so i always end up being at least 100ft away in the stands. major bummer.

i swear next time im thinking of going to the concert in my area with a friend, then picking the next closest concert, and taking a drive by myself to get close to the stage.

hammersmith apollo, what a night, from start to finish-mindblowing! a personal hightlight for me was 'heavens door', it was like a welsh rugby match in there! say what you want but WE can fuckin' sing!, next up, download things got a little tense to say the least but after the slips, trips, bad sound and a bass in the head things came out alright in end. watching gn'r with 70,000 people under a full moon(with izzy i might add) was special, a real rock n roll night. Then came wembley on the 29th....fuckin awesome!!, we got the three covers, hearing axl singin sailin sent shivers down my spine, watchin them play paradise even though the house lights went up...intense. I have now seen gn'r 9 times, my 1st being wembley 91' and i can honestly say we've never had it so fuckin good, bring on march!!! merry fuckin' christmas!!!   chilly.

one more thing, im wondering on what the european dates were compared to the NA leg of the tour, im thinkiing they were pretty intense on the european side but the venues were so big, anyone that has some feedback on this id love to know either by private msg or post in here depending on if u can or not...

First time seeing them and they came on on time! Was shocked after expecting to be waiting an hour or two. Bonus. Full gig was in the light which was a shame as the lighting and pyros etc didnt get worked to great effect. But great performance and my first time seeing the band so it was class!

Second time 6 weeks later. What a show. Was very drunk by the time they came on at 10.15 or so (been out since 3 and SECC did a 4 pints for 10 quid offer). But it was great. The suspense in the arena due to their lateness then the intro WTTJ will stick in the mind forever. Plus Mr Stradlin was there too! Best gig I've been too EVER.

Come back to Scotland GN'R (remember Axl you are Scottish after all)

Its hard to pick one over the other....although in Vegas the venue was tiny and I was so close...in Minneapolis, I was just as close and got more of a stage show...eh, they all kicked ass  : ok:

September 23rd, 2006, was my first ever GNR show, and it was amazing to say the least.

December 19th, 2006, was my second.  But it was ten times better than the first, it was a mindblowing show.  GNR is not necessarily my totally favorite band (however they are one of them) but this was the best show i have ever been to.

First Vegas show in September.

Great show... The venue was amazing. Second time seeing them (first was 1993). Enjoyed the old lineup more, but this was still fun as hell. Axl sounded good and the band were entertaining. I wish they'd played Don't Cry instead of Bumblefoot's solo spot thing, but otherwise I dug it. I surprisingly really enjoyed Dizzy's solo.

Would have loved to see that accoustic gig.

12/2 in Minneapolis. One of the greatest experiences in my life seeing "Rock Jesus"(Axl) in person and only about 15 feet away from me! Unbelievable!!!

all fantastic, donnington was absolutely awesome...everything a rock show should be...nervy!

9/21 - San Francisco:  My first show, and it kicked ass.  I had an unobstructed view from the lower balcony, and it fulfilled my wish of wanting to see the band live.   :) Being there during the King Dick moment was priceless.
12/17 - Los Angeles:  Even better because of the closer seats.  Concerts where you're standing up the whole time, singing and screaming are what do it for me.  Bring on the next round!

23rd July 2006 at the Manchester MEN Arena, UK.  1st time I had seen the band in 18 years (the last time being Donnington in 1988) and they blew me away.  Every note etc spot on.

06/03 Rock am Ring, Germany, almost 2am - awesome show, even though it was damn cold that night  :yes:
Personal highlight: Axl recognized my flag and honored it with the words "Hey, nice sign - thank you" while my flag was shown on the screen. I'll never forget that night! THX GUNS N' ROSES!! :peace:

I am so jealous now. That show was, judging by the videos (and I am sure it was 100x better there on the spot) one of the best they have EVER played. Axl's voice was unbeliavable..

Unfortunately I haven't been to any other show this year, but for Rock am Ring I can confirm it was definately awesome and Axl's voice was incredible that night!  :yes:

Caught May 12th Hammerstein, Vegas 1 and MSG.  All 3 were awesome although I have NEVER seen a crowd more electric than the Hammerstein crowd...and I've seen a lot of shows.  Vegas his voice (and the band) were INCREDIBLE, amazingly enough perfect sound in that venue.  And I mean PERFECT.  It's the best place to hear a guitar-heavy band, the Crowes sound best there too.  MSG was sick, good crowd there too.  Would've been really mind-blowing with a more mixed-up setlist, but each was well worth it...oh yeah and met some of the band later in Vegas which was cool.  Good times.
