I don't know the entire circumstance under these military actions, but the fact that this has been completely ignored by major news outlets is upsetting. If a US Soldier kicks a can in an Iraqis direction it makes world news.  The French bomb a city safely from 30,000 feet and not a word is said.  Double standard maybe?

Very hyprocritical, i only skimmed the article, but it said that civilians were greatly affected - if this was the US i'm sure you'd be hearing about it.

on the other hand, at least SOMEONE is trying to do something about the crisis in Africa.

Edit:  Just to make sure it hadn't changed, I went to CNN and Fox News and neither had this story on their front page, but some dead hikers made big news.

France's actions don't excuse Bush's by any means - it just show the French Government up as being a bunch of hypocrites. ?This is definately worthy of more media attention.
