Title: Behind the scenes Documentary of Chinese Democracy would be interesting Post by: fishyguy on December 17, 2006, 11:41:43 AM I think that a behind the scenes Documentary into the making of CD would be an excellent documentary for the fans.
Maybe not now but sometime in the future. A tell all behind the mystery. Wish they would put one out one day. Title: Re: Behind the scenes Documentary of Chinese Democracy would be interesting Post by: gandra on December 17, 2006, 11:45:17 AM really, "i know what you did last summer"

Who knows what Axl has up his sleeve for us? Axl does. One can only hope that he has a lot of things planned out for us, this time around. Title: Re: Behind the scenes Documentary of Chinese Democracy would be interesting Post by: guns_n_motley on December 17, 2006, 11:52:20 AM do you know how long this would be ;D

The book could have a lot more info than a documentary and could be written by someone that was there for most of the recording process. It could talk about all the different songs, what Axl was always doing, others in the band, any fights people had, etc. I think a book about recording CD would be amazing. It could be about the last 10 years and start from the time Slash left. I just don't think anyone has been around Axl and the recording process that long except maybe Beta. It's a cool idea though. It'd be even cooler if it was released the same day as CD, but that's impossible I know.

Seriously, with all the legal wranglings, I'd be surprised if we didn't here new information coming out when all parties involved have moved on into the great beyond. By that time, it will make for some great conversation between us HTGTH seniors. Hopefully, we're not demented by that time! :hihi: Title: Re: Behind the scenes Documentary of Chinese Democracy would be interesting Post by: CheapJon on December 17, 2006, 02:13:20 PM i thought like yesterday that it would be cool if a camera crew followed gn'r during the first 3 months of 2007

A little CD case strapped to a 20 lb. DVD box set  Title: Re: Behind the scenes Documentary of Chinese Democracy would be interesting Post by: JohnMorrison73 on December 19, 2006, 08:11:16 PM I wouldn't mind getting a book either. She's even made a few posts around here lately.
I'd love to see a behind the scenes, but it'll never happen. Too much time has passed since it all started, too many people have come and gone, and as others have said, it would take forever. They could, I suppose, break it into box sets like they do for seasons of television: Chinese Democracy: 1999, etc. Hey, I'd buy it. |
