The music is no the best in Better but Axl nailed the screaming parts.

K-Rock is lying to us.  This is the same broadcast from Inland Invasion, it's not from the Edmonton show, we've been had.

YOu know this is the first time I heard a concert played live like this in a long time. It's not a regular thing but they have done it b/f. I heard them talk about this monday (sorry I should of posted something then) but from what I understood they said they were going to play the offical recordings, ie the album versions.

It wasn't until today I heard it was going to be the actual concert. So guys I booted it home from work, and I just got in 3 mins b/f it was suppose to start, at 9 pm. But then they played Led Zeppelin b/c they have a thing where they ?play 3 Zeppelin songs in a row at 9 every night. But after the first song I heard Guns intor music and I posted the link.

Like I said I'll call Melissa tomorrow and she what kind of info she can give me.

By the way I just checked the setlist for Inland Invasion and "Better" wasn't played until MUCH later in the set. ?So unless they're changing the order of songs, or playing selected live tracks, this isn't Inland.

If this is the Inland version I'll find out tomorrow. It explains why we didn't hear Axl kick the guy out during Mr. Brownstone.

And I guess we'll know for sure if they have Bubble there or not. Actually I'm going to call K-rock right now.

I  honestly think the DJ might not know he's playing the wrong show.  Maybe he's not aware they played Inland Invasion, otherwise "inland invaders" would've given it away.  And maybe he's not aware Dizzy played "Angie".  Or maybe they're trying to pull a fast one over the listeners.  Either way, he's not fooling us.

I first got that when I intially started listening to the show. But I'm listening to my stero now.

Lets see if they play Bubbles. He told me th eshow was going ot run until after midnight. I guess they'll play the entire " Inland concert".

But now I'm courious as to which concert " Liquor and Whores was from. It could only be 1 of 4 shows, my guess is the Edmonton one. You know now that I think of it my wife called me 2 weeks ago when the radio station in Halifax played a live version of Sweet Child and they said it was from the Haiflax show.

I bet it was possibly the Inland show as well.

Well they played "Liquor And Whores" which was NOT played at Inland Invasion.  So this is really weird, lol.  I think it's a mixture of Inland and the Edmonton concert.  They played "Chinese Democracy" as an encore in Edmonton, but NOT at Inland.  So let's wait and see what happens.

I suppose you've read the open letter to the fans. Everyone in the press (like bullshit metalsludge) is now saying "Screw Axl... He canceled more shows and delayed the album again" when in fact firing Merck, coming up with an approximate release date and taking things into his own hands is the best news I've heard in the 13 years that I've waited for this album.

If you're a fan, like myself and the rest of us, maybe you can talk about how awesome this is on the air, and GNR can get some good press for once.

My favorite part of the broadcast was when he suggested the next song would involve piano then they played "Out Ta Get Me". Axl always says what city they're in during the "Take that one to heart!" part and the dj STILL said "You're listening to GNR from Edmonton last Thursday" right after OTGM!

I couldn't listen to the show unfortunately because of my shitty dial up (which is a lot of the reason I don't post a huge amount anymore) being around for only 4 more days, but it sounded great from what I hear. DSL will have to start sooner then Chinese Democracy!

I think he wasn't teasing, I'm pretty sure that's the new song intro actually, it really does seem like it's a tease (I myself thought that when I saw the Hammerstein DVDs) but he does that at every concert, so I guess that's how it will be on the album :)
