Title: Lyric-driven music? Post by: The Estranged MrFlashbax on December 13, 2006, 08:34:23 PM i'm looking for bands or musicians to listen to who're very lyrically driven.. songs that're written more like poetry or something that has an actual story to tell or something rather than just a catchy hook.. can anyone help me out here?

So check some Blind Melon stuff.

This CD is one long ass concept album before concept albums were the in thing to do. crazy CD that intertwines, love, God, spirituality............ It took me about 20 listens to form an intelligent opinion on what the Cd is about. It has great Guitar, great lyrics, great overall music. Title: Re: Lyric-driven music?
