Title: This is why release of an album is important Post by: slashsbaconpit on December 13, 2006, 07:49:46 PM I was talking to some guys today, and mentioned Axl and GNR. They asked "Axl's still around?"
Oh yeah, GNR is touring right now. Dude was a casual fan of GNR, didn't know about the tour. See, fans of the band are going to know about the tour, go to the shows and whatnot. People who are just casual fans, and the public at large, don't have any perception of it. An album, they would buy, remembering the good times they had with AFD and UYI. But without an album, GNR isn't even on people's radar screen. Personally, I'm thrilled for the tour, but it will take more than a tour for GNR's return to be complete.
