Hoping they come to Indianapolis.? Seen GNR open for Aerosmith late 80's and again in '91 on Illusion tour.....Can't wait.. :D How about we work on getting the CD out first so that GNR can actually fill shows outside of New York and Canada. Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: Orgasmatron on November 20, 2006, 11:52:13 PM Well, GN'R are coming to Australia next year according to both Baz and Richard so.. FUCK YEAH! ;D
Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: oneway23 on November 21, 2006, 12:11:05 AM Not understanding the trepidation at this point...If they disappear for another year so be it. Just ensure that when you re-emerge, you have a physical product to support...What is so hard about hunkering down and hammering this thing out? Whether it's a month away from completion or a year...really now.
Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: guns_n_motley on November 21, 2006, 08:40:11 AM I hope its soon... they are adding more U.S. dates onto the tour for 2007
Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: MrMojoRisin on November 21, 2006, 08:44:06 AM If there is no album to tour behind I dont give a shit about a 2007 tour leg.
Id rather them go back into hiding then keep playing the same ol tribute to AFD lineup everynite... Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: gandra on November 21, 2006, 08:51:04 AM well, without new cd 2007 tour is ridicolus
Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: Eduardo on November 21, 2006, 08:52:49 AM I agree.. They need a CD to tour
Unfortunately they don't think like that :P Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: Outtagetme on November 21, 2006, 09:59:45 AM Put out the CD please... then tour. Hopefully, they won't avoid the ATL next time. Not that I think there would be a big draw here though. Everyone here is an upstart rapper who aspire to be like Ludacris or Lil John and the East Side Boys. I wish I lived in a rock city like Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Chicago, or Detroit. We can pack an Outkast concert though.
Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: Lucky on November 21, 2006, 10:02:36 AM the current tour is almost at it's half way, and it's almost the same as the summer EU tour.
kinda strange, but I guess the diferent options for the setlist mean something after all. Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: gnrbus on November 21, 2006, 10:06:15 AM How about putting the fucking CD out then worry about touring. Without the CD any more touring is a waste of time.
Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: gandra on November 21, 2006, 10:08:14 AM the current tour is almost at it's half way, and it's almost the same as the summer EU tour. well fuck with that, same setlist is ok because "diferent show diferent audience"kinda strange, but I guess the diferent options for the setlist mean something after all. and with new album gnr will have 98% same etlist we are talking here about ridiculous 2007 tour without new album Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: Naupis on November 21, 2006, 10:10:12 AM I wonder what they will call a tour if they ever actually do release an album, because C.D tour Part III might be a little played out by then :nervous:
Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: MrMojoRisin on November 21, 2006, 10:15:59 AM Chinese Democracy tour 2002
Chinese Democracy tour 2006 Chinese Democracy tour 2007 only there is ONE BIG GLARING PROBLEM!!!!!!! Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: Lucky on November 21, 2006, 10:19:10 AM the Chinese Democracy 2001(part I, part II), and Chinese Democracy 2004 tours also rocked!!!
Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: MrMojoRisin on November 21, 2006, 10:21:45 AM the Chinese Democracy 2001(part I, part II), and Chinese Democracy 2004 tours also rocked!!! I liked the 2001 part 1 and 2 also.... I missed the 2004 one, wanst it cancelled??? lol.... Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: stardustonmyfeet on November 21, 2006, 10:30:57 AM i havent seen a chinese democracy tour yet, only an appetite for repetition tour! :hihi:
Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: veritas55 on November 21, 2006, 10:51:16 AM given the apparent price slashing on some of the current tour dates, I'm not sure a second leg is the best idea until they have a FIRM release date and a single on the horizon. But what do I know? I'm not a marketing and tour booking genuis. Why the follow the pattern that just about every other successful touring band has done for decades. Instead, send your somewhat volatile and mercurial (no pun intended) artist on a tour without label or album support in multiple semi-full venues.

Id rather them go back into hiding then keep playing the same ol tribute to AFD lineup everynite... Sad but true - another leg would be pointless without Democracy How about getting the album out there, and THEN touring everything & everywhere known to man - and only play 3-5 Appetite Songs each night , but mostly the Album stuff Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: Krispy Kreme on November 21, 2006, 12:17:30 PM I have to disagree with the above posts. I would love to see AFD songs since I never saw them in '87-88. I like the new songs, but the old songs are best. So I hope they come to Big D before they change the set list so I can see the best songs ever, live and in person.

Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: dave-gnfnr2k on November 21, 2006, 12:36:24 PM They should go back over seas again and come back to the states in the summer by that time the album should be out and they will have something to tour off of. Over seas gnr can tour on just their name but here its been proven in 2002 and 2006 in the USA you need something to promote to be able to have a sell out tour in the minor marekets.

I really hope this album is out this year. Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: 1badapple on November 21, 2006, 12:56:29 PM Before worrying about a 2nd leg, IMO, Axl should just keep his word and put out the cd. Then do another round.

Couldnt agree more. This album need to be released to fly away though. I notice at the concert last night ppl were digging better. but they werent really into the song cuz they hadnt heard it before. They still liked it but had to take the time and listen to see what it was all about. Title: Re: Second leg of tour? How about we don't allude to Gn'R playing empty shows when, for the most part, it's not true. HEY! I just used my first rant smiley! Anyway, sorry. I get very defensive when words are strung together the wrong way at a Guns bb. Title: Re: Second leg of tour? Post by: don_vercetti on November 21, 2006, 02:02:29 PM Be cool if they came to the UK, i missed them the first time around, but i'd just LOVE to go and see them. But first priority should be the goddamn album.
