Though I don't think it will. The Grammy's don't seem to appreciate or respect bands like GNR. I mean, not even the original line-up won an award. Led Zeppelin had never won a Grammy until they got the Lifetime Achievement award. Yet people like Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears and all these god-awful rappers win dozens of awards. Depending on when/if Chinese Democracy is released in 2007, they could certainly be eligible for nominations in 2008.
