DRAFTING HAS A 24 HOUR TIME LIMIT

Heat Match (+2)
Heat Win (+3)
Pay Per View Match (+8)
Pay Per View Win (+12)
All Shows: Win a Title (+30)
All Shows: Special Guest Referee (+2)
All Shows: Lumberjack (+2)
All Shows: Win a No.1 Contender Match (+6)
All Shows: Retain a Title (+20)

- When a new wrestler debuts (or vignettes start playin' hyping their debut, or it is announced...) you cannot just draft them as in previous games.  The person who got last pick in the drafting will have first refusal, if they don't want them then it goes on to the person who had second to last pick, and so on.  So in effect the drafting list for people who debut is the reverse of the original draft list.  If when given the opportunity you pick a debutant, then you automatically go to the bottom of the 'Debutant' draft list, so next time someone debuts you're last in line, if you refuse someone, then you remain at the top of the list for next time (I know it sounds complicated but it's not, any questions just ask, it should make sense when things get started...)

- Anyone who debuts during the drafting process will just be added to the list, timing's a bitch  :D

New Rule Suggestions
1.  The old way of drafting new debutants, was, well, not too popular and was a bit of hassle.  D & Evolution have both come up with ideas, leading to the suggestion that people who debut can be drafted on the old first come first served basis, but, with a twist.  It costs you 2 TRADES and you can only draft one guy upon his debut per game.....

2.  Updated version on an old rule:

All Shows: Eliminating an opponent from a Royal Rumble, Battle Royal, Survivor Series Match or Elimination Chamber (+5)

3.  It's long been suggested by people here, especially Jim :P that people should receive extra points for competing in gimmick/weapon matches.  One of the reasons for this never happening is the added hassle it is with scoring and debating over what is a counted match and what isn't i.e. people demaning points for a Bra and Panties match and simple No-DQ matches and the sort.  Also you have every week on RAW where a regular match starts then the GM comes out and changes the rules and so on.....

So, as a comprise, the idea is you get added points for having a gimmick match, on PPV only though (Since they are more "Important"...).  To know whether the match is valid or not, a list would be made and inserted in the rules so if you wanted to know if you gained points for your match you would have to check the rules, i.e.

Only Pay Per View: Fight in a gimmick match - Lumberjack/Inferno/Hell In A Cell/Cage/Elimination Chamer/Extreme Elimination Chamber/Hardcore/Casket/Buried Alive/Last Ride/Ambulance/Dumpster/Falls Count Anywhere/Submission/I Quit/Iron Man/Money In The Back/TLC/Tables/Texas Bullrope Match/First Blood (+4) - Note this is just a quick off the top of my head list i'm sure there will be more to add.....

4.  Is in the Main Event of a PPV - Otherwise known as having the LAST match on the event, not the title match, the last one, whichever that may be (+5)

I would like every match that ends in a pinfall counts.

Like with the DX tornado match.

I thought it was kind of bullshit they pinned two teams and was a draw or whatever on the third one and they only got 5 points even though they technically beat two teams.


If not individual match points, they should at least get Elimination points cause technically they are eliminating teams.

So put simply you want people to get points for eliminating people from a elimination tag, gauntlet, 6 pack challenge, basically, eliminating someone, from an elimination match of sorts get's ya (+5).

Speaking of bullshit, this thing where if someone get's released or quits, then you can trade 'em without it counting as a trade is bs.  If someone get's injured, suspended or sent to OVW then it's just bad luck, the same should apply, and i think it should apply because i believe picking someone who won't get fired or quit is just as much of a skill.  For example, you pick Batista, he get's injured, well he's a roided up monster, your fault, bad pick on your part.  You pick Kid Kash (Well known attitude problems....), Kurt Angle (Addicted to painkillers...), Boogeyman (Known real life loon and idiot...) and then complain when they get fired.  Hell there is skill involved, pick Triple H (and unless he cheats on Steph; Which he would not be dumb enough to do) he ain't gettin' fired.

Also to stop the confusion of what to do if someone is fired and then returns, well, in association with the above, if someone is fired and then you drop then, they remain on the draft list for the remainder of the game free to be drafted in the unlikely situation that they return.........

Yeah I agree that once u are on the list u stay on the list regardless of what happens.

And at the same time, if you are removed from the roster in between games (Sent to OVW), the new game they start off the roster and if they return they are treated as a new guy.

One example of this is the Spirit Squad, only Kenny remains on the RAW roster page, so unless that changes before the new game starts he will be the only available member to draft and therefore if Johnny returns in mid January he will be treated as a new guy........

Just an idea.

As a newbie i didnt get that you see. and i think it helps the rookies. Plus it makes people decide whether to take a Top ECW guy early coz really there is only RVD, CM Punk and Lashley now.

Plus it requires a more rounded knowledge of the company and might weed out the RAW-Only watchers :hihi:

The ECW guys are at disadvantage too coz of the PPV shortage compared to Raw and Smackdown .. so maybe something could be done to sort that out to.

A person get's injured, fired, released, quits, dies, flys away to Haiwai, it will cost you a trade to ditch them and in all cases, aside from death they will return to the draft list.

Drafting  for new people is back to first come first served, but you can only draft one person upon their debut in the whole game and it will cost you 2 of your draft picks, remember you all start with 6 picks to use throught the game.

As reported earlier, Rob Van Dam's WWE contract will be expiring in a few months. News is now coming out that he is legitimately expressing interest in leaving WWE for TNA and the independent circuit when his contract ultimately expires.

RVD was openly talking about it during the weekend of the ECW PPV, asking people if it was a good idea. Especially after some fans at the ECW PPV were chanting for him to go to TNA. Furthermore, several people said that his wife Sonya, who was in attendance at the PPV, was chanting "TNA" along with some other fans. As things stand now, the belief is that he won't sign a new contract with WWE, but things can always change.

RVD feels that Vince McMahon wouldn't allow the ECW belt to be put back on him because he thinks he's still being punished for his pot bust back in July. RVD thinks he did his time. Also, RVD's refusal to go on the Iraq trip probably didn't help matters, even though it was technically voluntary.

I dont really think this game is gonna be very fun with the amount of ppl...If there were more top wrestlers it would be fun with all these ppl but its pretty much whoever gets ther top wrestlers

If he did he would get a double pick and an obvious advantage really.

This is where strategy kicks in.

People's first picks dont win championships.

I think Championships are won and lost by how well your wrestlers 4 through  6 do.

Last game my 3 through 6  did nothing for me. which is why I lost.


So Timothy for instance got Cena but the time he chooses his next wrestler, he isnt gonna get a major points wrestler.

So actually when u pick last u get wrestlers 13 and 14 whereas number 1 gets 1 and 26.

13 and 14 can easily outscore 1 and 26 cause besides PPV's, world champs rarely defend the belt on TV. if they do its never a clean finish.

I think its impossible to say. There is no doubt that having John Cena is an advantage IMO. The last game probally 80% of my points were from my No 1 pick CM Punk

Going 1st gives you 1st pick and the 28th and 29th.

With this many people i think 28th and 29th picks could be pretty average picks.

Personally i think Jim and Axl_Rose_700 are in a good places coz you get the chance to draw a BIG star (I can't believe Triple H took so long to come out) but also get a chance at a top tag team / constant performer on the second pick.

Being at the end is good but i think it makes your choices more vital. If for example you pick a tag team you better hope they win the title and certainly that they dont split up and dissolve.

Yeah but i'd argue you chose Lashley, which everyone including me thought he would win the title on Smackdown. His change to ECW was just too late for you.

I understand where you are coming from coz last game i ended up with CM Punk, Dave Taylor, Test, Matt Hardy, Hardcore and 1 of cryme time and none of them you would have thought at the start to be excellent picks. But CM Punk was great and matt hardy got me alot of points towards the end.

But i do believe with the more people the better it is to have that top star who you knwo will be on TV every week without fail.

It will be interesting when stoned or evo does the superstars final tallys at the end. . coz John Cena, Booker and Big Show must be the top 3

Also i think Atari and Evo have done well to get their ECW superstar early. I think thats where tattics could be interesting this time coz everyone has to have at least one superstar from each brand

Edit for some stoner observations: Worst game ever? Come on, this should be the best, 5 each we'll be set.? I think we should say 14 is the limit though and for future games work a 1 in 1 out system, doesn;t sound nice but we can't afford any more people.? Tag game should be 10 each.? This team, i tried to put together a squad that would get me points 1 through 5. thats how i won game 4. that and the Big Show goin on a tear.

but Last game, I only had 2 wrestlers score big points, I ended up with 3 who were pretty much inactive and Vito wrestling sparingly.


So this game, I made sure that every roster spot was filled with potential scorers.

I reckon that if WWE stick with the tag division and maybe holds this MNM/Hardyz inter-brand feud up a few more weeks longer I could be going places.

Drafting  for new people is back to first come first served, but you can only draft one person upon their debut in the whole game and it will cost you 2 of your draft picks, remember you all start with 5 picks to use throught the game.

A new factor to consider now. If, after 28 days, the new boy hasn't been picked up he then is just the cost of one trade. Maybe you should wait?

Since this is the first PPV of a new game and we have several new members to the game, here are a few notes and answers to possible forthcoming queries:

PPV Matches are worth more than TV ones as are PPV Wins.

Being in a gimmick match on PPV (Cage-IC Title) get's you extra points.

Being in the main event (Cena/Umaga) also get's you extra points.

Last game there were numerous complaints sayin' eliminations in more matches should count i.e. tag matches as well, such as Gauntlet, Turmoil etc. therefore teams like WGTT will get bonus points for eliminating several teams.

Yep, we get ECW here in the UK on a Thursday, it airs on a Tuesday in the US, if you drafted an ECW guy Wednesday you would not get the points Thursday since the scoring would already of been done since the show would of already aired in the US.

Same goes for Heat, if you check back you will notice the Heat scores were done (Check the scores in the post before your post wanting to trade him) Before you drafted him since it is put up on wwe.com Friday.

Having 6 trades was important when their were only 10 people playing, with 14, there isnt anyone to choose, so really no one is gonna be using any of their trades unless its a debut. So I maximized on Ashley getting 12, and now Melina appears to be getting a push for at least a Women's title shot at Royal Rumble.

Someone has to win it from Mickie eventually, so why not Melina?

Now the rules aren't perfect, but in all honesty, there is not much i can do.? There is no "Yep, I'll reserve him" option or anything like that (I remember when D read a rumour the New Age Outlaws were returning and said if they did they were his for "Insert Name Here" & "Here").? Even funnier than that was the PPV where X-Pac was rumoured to return, now he did not buy the event but stayed online for several hours reading the rumour sites ready to pounce? :rofl: i found it hilarious when he didn't.

So some people have advantages at certain times, and at other times other people do.

The rule is this though, until someone debuts on tv, you can't draft them.

So, as you know, there are many wrestling boards, i recommend wrestlecrap.? Guys over there will have a thread dedicated to the show and will talk in it every 2 minutes, trust me, it's like a running commentary, so, if you are really desperate, you stay up, you view the thread, the you Pounce.....Period, and all that jazz.

Also a rule to note, is the having one member from every roster in your team.? Remember this when you make the trade, if you trade for the wrong person, if someone else notices before you can correct it then they can go for Brown since your trade will of been invalid and will not count.? Same goes for people making the trade before he debuts, i'll be checking board times and matching things up :P

Remember as well it will cost you 2 TRADES and you WILL NOT be able to trade any other debutants during this game, so be careful.? Chances are Lashley will be Champion through until 'Mania, someone better may come along, think first, be brave, stay up late, power to the people.....

I Think something definitely has to be done, cause in a game of this size, draft order matters way too much.


I personally feel that New Debuts shouldnt be allowed. IF they debut, they have to wait till next game to be included, cause a big debut can swing the balance WAY too much.

Everyone's 4th and 5th picks are mediocre and if someone is able to grab a big time debut for their 5th spot, its just too big of an advantage and to me that isnt fair cause u are getting a first or 2nd pick talent with the last pick.

I also agree something needs to be done with numbers of players. Though I'm noob to this game on this board i do feel 14 is way to much. But I do think 8 is too few. I think we can do it, and still make it competitive if you do it with a 10 player limit.

I don't know if I agree with adding TNA and than on top of that several restrictions to the TNA part of the roster. I agree with whoever said no TNA till they go live.

Debuts should be allowed. Though with everyone in different times zones, and some places getting an edge on smackdown and others getting an edge on ecw. Maybe we should put it so debuts are only eligable starting 24 hours? after U.S. broadcast of the show they debuted on. That should give everyone ample time to know whats going on and who debuted.? :smoking:

i think its agreed by all that the people who choose in the middle have the worst positions. so i think you keep the list format as it was before this game and give the people in the middle first choice and work from there

so if there was 10 player position 6 would get first choice of the new talent and the 5 and then 7 and then 4 and so on. I think thats the fairest way.

Not to be rude but i will never get 1st choice coz i dont stay up till 2 to watch it. I have work to go to.

so not to knock the people who make decsions coz i know its hard and i know you got alot of people to please. but thats how i stand.

as far as TNA wrestlers go. i think you cant do it this game but it would be interesting for next game to have 8 wrestlers each from WWE and TNA

I love the idea of adding a few ppl from TNA to the roster and im still undecided about the whole debut thing...Maybe it would be fair to go from whoever is in last place can take the guy if they want him or work from the middle of thye draft outwards...Not sure

But I think from now on there has to be some sort of committee to agree if a trade is fair or not to stop people from trading a shit guy for a main event guy.

Don't think the committee  thing should be done D. Cause hell if the person want to trade the let them.And if the get a shitty deal then that is their problem.

I dont care about neemo getting a shitty deal, I care about a player getting an Advantage by gaining a top superstar for a nobody.

Maybe instead of the hole trading thing we should just asign wrestlers points. Something like main eventers at 32 , mid carder 15, ect. then everybody gets a certain amount of points.  and you can only trade for a guy in the same points range.Hell that probable not making  no sense.

So if Axlrose700 is out of it in a few weeks, what would stop him from trading me Randy Orton for Carlito or if Sweet616 was out of it he could trade me Undertaker for Carlito.

I think there should be a vote for trades in certain cases. We do that in fantasy football so a guy that doesnt know anything doesnt get screwed. And because half-way through the season people will trade away their 1 or 2 stars on thier crappy team to guys that they know and have a chance to win to give them a better chance. I dont like the trade either, and im out of the game but its just not fair to the other people in contention to win. That being said, it has been stated rules are not changed in the middle of a game so the trade must stand regardless of how unfair it is. So for next game we should just put all trades to a popular vote, to approve or dissapprove. We do this in all fantasy leagues i play in and people wont care who's traded to who as long as its a fair trade. With a vote, you also dont even see people attempt to make a ridiculous trade because they know it aint gonna fly if theres people that know what their doing.? :smoking:

In a baseball league I was in, I have a friend of who isnt real baseball savvy and he traded Freaking Alex Rodriguez for Victor Martinez.
