This is still on gunsnroses.com as well as their myspace page. If plans had indeed changed, surely they would have removed this comment by now. Nothing spectacular, but this definitely gives more hope to the December 18th rumor!!

On the old website they had "stay tuned for news about Chinese Democracy soon" or something like that, for a long time in 2003.

Glad you're staying positive - I hope that it finally sees the light of day this year. ? :) ?However, I wouldn't be surprised if they leave that comment up well into 2007 if CD doesn't surface this year. ? :(

Believe me, I'm the same. I'm looking for any light of positivity.

(IMO) the album is not coming out in 2006

just because ti says so on myspace doesn't mean anything, a couple o' days ago it said that brain wasn't in the band anymore also but when merck found out they named brain on the bandmembers list again or something so don't belive myspace even though it's good news if true

I don't understand how people think that comment means anything.  It doesn't say anything definitive.  The statment is like me saying "there are 365 days in 2007".  There is nothing committal at all in this statement.

my guess is also the 19th of Dec. but beings they said it would be out before the end of the year i think to be a smart ass Axl would put it out on the 26th right after Christmas  :smoking: its a good plan if you think about it. :yes:

I just dont think its coming, surely there would have been leaks by now if it had even gone in to pressing. not many days to the 19th let alone 2007

haha nicely said effish,I'm 14 and have loved GN'R since i was 12,i was on the way to my friends house and Pradise City came on the radio n i couldnt get over how cool it sounded....and later on that week at my dads his neighbour was sellin a casette of appetite for $3 and i had to get it? :)...I think Axl knows what hes doin' with Chinese Democracy,Ihavn't waited half as long as some people but i will still buy democracy the day it hits store shelves
