Title: Information banned..... Post by: Teapot on December 04, 2006, 06:18:05 PM Well, I posted a long and expansive story about Chinese Democracy that MTV did. It was an even handed piece that interviewed a good selection of people. Straight journalism. The point of the article was not to put down the band or Axl. There were some really favorable quotes about him in their along with some realistic views on whether the album was ever going to come out.
So I posted it and after maybe 5 minutes and 34 views it was gone. I won't get into the whole deal about slamming the mods or the guy who runs this site. It's been done before and to do again would be like banging your head against a door. I just wanted people to know that the honest dissemination of information on this site is dead. Now the people who run this site will say, "That story did not have any information in it, just a whole lot of speculation." Well brothers, when management refuses to give us or journalists info, specualtion is all we're left with. Anyway, whatever. This site is what it is. A tightly controlled piece of propaganda.
