the poster and shirts look GREAt.  Not the typically gaudy, ugly shirts with a photo of the band.  These actually have some design and thought in them.  Remind me a little bit of how Tool does merchandise.  I think the CD cover and booklet will be cool.

I think if you're gonna get the merch at the concert(s) then I suggest bringing a small plastic bag if you get shirts and stuff....unless you're going to get the merch on the way out from the concert (and possibly risk having it sold out).

Course it could very well be one of the t shirts they're selling for this tour with the dates on the back.

I think in 2002 they had tour dates listed on some of the shirts..but was it just mine or other shirts..when they originally announced dates in 2002 they listed some venues and then cancelled some venues for other venues..one of my shirts seems to have outline of those cancelled venues..the new venues overlapped the outlined old venues.

The FL shows just had in-general North American tour shirts. The shirts that were actual concert-tees had the screen-print on the front, and on the back 10/24/06 SUNRISE, FL - Bank Atlantic Center up through 1/16/07 SAN DIEGO, CA - ipayOne Center @ The Sports Arena.

Are there several merch stands at the shows or just one?  I remember at Hammerstein there was one but once you were up you couldnt get back down, and the stand was swamped before and after the show

The shows I was at, I saw two merch stands & one poster stand. It seemed they had a BIG merch stand, then a small merch stand, and a poster & keychain table.

But I didn't walk around the entire arena. That's just what I laid eyes on.

The jersey's may have been $100. I know someone at the show told me they were $100. But I had heard here on this board in LA, they were only like $85. I remember seeing them at the show, but I had too many numbers in my head.


Yeah, I tried to get the green long sleeve. But it was sold out of the size I wanted it in both in Tampa & Estero. The green one my #2 fave.

Dunno. They may have had a couple, but I didn't pay much mind. They certaintly had ladies shirts, but with dates, not sure. I know alot of women wanted them, but their men just weren't going to pay $40 bucks for a medium top, that wasn't even a full tee.

You know all this talk about old t shirts has me wondering where I stashed my 1992 GNR-Metallica tour t shirt.

With regards to the 2006 merch verus the 2002..If I remeber right the 2002 shirts were just decent with a variation of the logo and such.  However based on the pics The Legend (thank you) took..I'm thinking the 2006 gear looks more thought out...more various t shirts and other swag...at least give it that..more swag to choose from.

Oh yeah, there's definitely alot more variety with the merch this time around. Various designs & items. If you don't like one, you have plenty to choose from instead to be unique to your tastes.

As long as you have the money and the strength to hold all the merch..

next thing you know they'll have a GNR cook's apron for the summer tailgating parties.

Not only is it not the most attractive watch, but when I got mine, and opened, it was already broke. The battery was DEAD and did not work, nor were there any instructions on how to get it to work. Then the entire piece is sealed. You have to send away, just to get the battery changed. On top of that, as soon as I got it out and bent it back like I was going to wear it, one of the spring coils snapped, and flew across the fucking room, now I can't find it, and the watch has overly long extended springs.

So in my mind, it was $30-35 (however the fuck much) wasted...

There were two at the Tampa show. They had the old bullet logo one, that typically can be found at Hot Topic or Spencer's Gifts, and they had another belt buckle with the older Live Like a Suicide logo.

imho the GNR merchandise, especially the shirts and logos on all of them look a ton better than most of the normal stuff out there.

i had 3 gnr tshirts on that i bought at the show before it started, two watches on because i bought a gnr watch at the show, had that laynard thing with the long strip with guns n roses written all over it around my neck.. the watch is fucking sweet! i cant wait to put batteries in it and get it to work

The Baltimore show had a hoodie with the new symbol for 60, didnt see it at the MSG show

Yep, they're selling those usually at the table that they sell the posters. They are also selling a simple kechain as well. The keychain is just the little rubber logo circle that's on the lanyard, connected to a little chain.

Hahaha, yeah. I've got the bigger keychain & the bigger laynard (there's two sizes).

They are still selling them at the shows, ironically still with the U.K. & Europe 2006 logos, despite being in the North America tour.

Depending on what you're looking for, just giving you a heads up... the baseball cap had the 'new logo'. The beanie had the 'old logo'.

So I don't know if you're actually looking for a beanie, or new logo merch. But the beanie has the old bullet logo, not the new logo.

I saw a guy wearing a Vegas one, at the show.  I DIDN'T see any city specific shirts for sale (bit disappointed, too!), and I saw them in Chicago, which certainly qualifies as a "big" city.  So...no idea about when/where they're available.

Holy shit, that kicks so much fuckin' ass. I wish they'd sold that hockey jersey at the show I was at. They had an old-logo red one, but that new one looks so much better.

i'm still not happy with the designed t-shirts. i won't buy any if they don't become more fashionable.

There were 2 City specific shirts in Vegas.  Maybe more.  I brought back the white one for AF and I have one too.  There haven't been any since then as far as I know, not even in NY.

Anyone know who designed the 2002 tour merch? i liked those designs a LOT better than this year's. i think they were a lot more creative, these new ones seem a bit thrown together.

To each his own I guess, but the 2002 stuff was NOT Guns N' Roses. That stuff looked like merch for Good Charlotte.

I loved the 2006 stuff. They took the best from the old era, and mixed it with the best from 2002. That way you got new looking merch for the new band, but had that classic Guns N' Roses feel.
