I was just wondering if anyone received their tickets from the special Tickets.com / Gunsnroses.com presale yet?

I've been waiting forever, and there's no info online or in my email confirmation, about when we should expect them.

If you did already receive yours in the mail, about how long before your show did they come?

Got my Chicago tickets yesterday from Ticketmaster...4 of em

I should've just held out 2 days and got them from Ticketmaster. This crap through tickets.com is ridiculous in my opinion.

yeah, if I was getting floor tickets, i would have waited to use ticketmaster....but hell, I wanted kickass reserved seats, so I almost had to use tickets.com to get them.....and now I wait......weeeee

No MSG tix from tickets.com yet, got my ticketmaster tickets for the same show (bought at the same time) a couple of weeks ago.

I read in another thread about how it's possible only the tickets bought through tickets.com will qualify for the 90 day fan club deal.

Does anyone think it's possible that our tickets will come with some sort of fan club kit?

That would be cool!! but surly someone has to have recieved thier tickets already? no?

If it's anything like the UK shows the tickets won't be sent till very close to the date.  The excuse over here was that they were souvenir tickets.  Why that means they take a fuckload longer to show up, I couldn't tell you, but there we go.

That sucks so many people haven't received their tickets yet. I got mine about 10 days ago from Ticketmaster. They were sitting in a pile of mail I hadn't gone through yet for a few days, so I opened them about a week ago. I hope tickets.com doesn't fuck anything up for anybody.

The tour starts in Florida this week.  And I'm almost positive they sold Tickets.com tickets for those shows (at least before they sold out, and GNR.com changed the link to Ticketmaster).

SOMEBODY on these boards had to order from one of those Florida shows...

Tickets.com's utter lack of info, is a little frustrating....

I got my tickets through ticketmaster for Cleveland a week after ordering them.

This topic is not about the Ticketmaster tickets...

This is for people who ordered them via the special gunsnroses.com presale, which was distributed through Tickets.com.

Ordered mine for the Portland, Oregon show at the Rose Garden on December 11th, and still haven't seen them.  Waiting with bated breath...

i also have not received my tickets from tickets.com for the MSG show. with only 3 weeks to go i am getting a little impatient, this is the longest ive had to wait for tickets.

if something gets screwed up, they better allow us to pick up our tickets at wilcall or this will have to go down in the GNR bummers thread.

i havent got mine either from tickets.com but i did get my other tickets from ticketmaster.com

has anyone tried calling yet? have they said anything? i know someone posted about two weeks ago that the tickets we being mailed that friday, but it wouldnt take this long for them to reach us.

i bet if we get fucked over, we won't be allowed to talk about it :P

I'm going into that damn arena one way or another. If my tickets aren't here in 2 weeks, i'm calling and going apeshit on someone, and i won't fuck with that little operator pissant that answers the phone, i'll make him/her direct me to their boss, and i'll just keep going higher and higher up the chain until i get an answer to where the hell my tickets are.

chill the fuck out everyone!  it says tix will arrive at least 48 hours before the performance, so even if you do call now they will say to wait until that time to call and go "ape shit".

I haven't gotten mine for oakland. Calling them doesn't help, because you only get the 48 hour speech. 48 hours would be perfectly fine if they would let me get them shipped to my address, but they won't change the shipping address either.

48 Hours is a major inconvienience.  For instance, I'm going to the Chicago show on a Monday.  What if I had intended on spending the entire weekend - Friday through Monday in Chicago??  Now I'd be fucked - because Tickets.com, says to wait until 48 hours before the event.

Ticketmaster has the same 48 hour disclaimer, but people are getting their tix in a timely manner through them. Tickets.com sucks,in my opinion. I won't use them again, that's 4 sure.

Nor will I.  There is a ticketmaster outlet literally 2 minutes from my house.  I could have had tickets in hand the day they went onsale - rather than be sitting here wondering if and when they'll show up.

I have not gotten mine yet, and my show is in a weeek and a half (Nov 2). I am VERY nervous.

if you don't receive them at least 2 days prior then you just have to call them and they will have them at will call for ya.

if i didn't go through tickets.com i highly doubt i would have gotten pit tickets, so i have no problem using them again if it comes down to it.

I ordered my tickets though them for the Detroit show and got a confermation but have not seen any tickets yet. it's only been 10 days andrI have more than a month so I'll wait a bit before I start to worry.

I got my tix from Ticketmaster eons ago.

But then again my shows are next week tho...

They give you a tracking number, but I dont see anywhere on their site to track them.

I made some calls and I was told TIckets.com are waiting on ticketmaster stock so they can print tickets there and then ship out the tickets.
Basically Ticketmaster.com is the one holding and gumming up the works...that's what the supervisor at Tickets.com said to me.  Take it for what its worth.

Be prepared for will call folks..cause monopoly(ticket)master doesn't play nice with others intheir business.

I got a bullshit canned response..."Your order will be shipped closer to the event date"....blah blah.  Have to wait it out for awhile it looks like.

Reading through the posts....NOBODY has recieved theirs yet?  I have some time so I'm not worried yet but just curious if anyone has gotten theirs.

I had no previous problems with tickets.com in getting Sabres tickets to see the Flyers (my team) play them in the past.  Hopefully everything will work out for all of you.

I know the tour started yesterday in Florida.
And I know that they DID use Tickets.com, for a while, until they sold out and changed their link to Ticketmaster.

So, I'm wondering if anybody here who bought Florida tickets through Tickets.com, actually got them.
Or did they wind up having to pick them up at the venue??

When I placed my order I got an error message..and I had front row seats so I quickly fixed the problem and typed in my credit card so fast I was not sure that I got it right.  So, I called the credit card co. and the order had gone through in a couple of minutes.  So it looks like that worked....hope the tickets are not too far behind.

Surely someone used GNR.COM to buy Florida tix, right?

Anyway, Ticketmaster wrote today to let me know my Iowa ticket had been printed.

I wonder if they drag their feet like that to prevent scalping.

Why would Tickets.com do this?  I really don't understand the reasoning of sending the tickets out 48 hours before the event.  Do they do this with all the events they support, or is it something they just started with this tour.  You know...maybe they can say a little money in actually printing and shipping tickets if the tour ends up getting cancelled.

My friend got his MSG tix through tickets.com, and he received a confirmation e-mail, but didn't get the tickets yet.

As strange as it sounds ..TIckets.com charged us the same exact fees as Ticketmaster did..minus the mailing fee..I guess this means that Tickets.com will just toss our tickets at will call.

 $218 for 2 tickets with a regular mailing option with Ticketmaster.

same 2 tickets only $208.25 with Tickets.com

there's that fun $4.25 Order Processing fee...I beg to differ..they hadn't processed anything except my credit card.

But TM doesn't charge for regular mail of tix either, I paid the same as you for both MSG and NJ.  They only charge for ticketfast and expedited shipping.

The only thing at this moment that is PISSING ME OFF about ticketmaster is that they keep sending me pre-sale offers for Justin Timberlake every day now.  My thought was that they send you this stuff based on what you buy but yet every day I keep getting pre-sale offers for the crappiest performers on earth.

I wonder if they are gonna do the will call thing at every show though and not mail anything out?  How annoying would that be?  Not to mention the will call line would suck as much as the one to get in the show.

I haven't recieved an e-mail from GNR.com concerning Will-Call, nor a confirmation email yet from tickets.com for the Detroit tickets I ordered.

They were specifically GA tickets to Madison Square Garden that he received from tickets.com in the mail today-

It's funny..last week a "supervisor" mentions that they were waiting on ticketmaster to send their stock to their offices so they can print it up.? That's the hold up supposedly and its on Ticketmaster's hand.

(All this for the MSG show..hmmm.)


On the phone with customer service to find out what's going on.? So far a rep tells me that they're just handling the fan club tickets and the Greensboro show tickets as well as presale tickets. I'm guessing the promotor chose Tickets.com to handle the fan club and pre sale. (Greensboro is Tickets.com's baby). Guess it's just a lot of holding out till show date.

As far as I've been told, Ticketmaster sends the paper stock to Tickets.com to print them out.? They in turn (THIS GETS REALLY FUNNY), send the tickets back to TICKETMASTER who then will mail out the tickets to those who ordered it. That's what their contract with the promoter states.? ?
Personally that's a bit waste of time and energy.  I'm better off going to Ticketmaster's office and waiting by their offices for them..

And supposedly my order of tickets have been printed today and they'll mail out the tickets to Ticketmaster on Monday (since their distribution center doesn't work weekends)? personally I will believe it when I see those tickets in hand next week.

That's true that ticketmaster lets others use their stock paper.  When I was on the phone arguing with them over my GA BACK NJ tickets the other day they asked me if I had bought them from another distributor.  I didn't but the TM guy told me they let others use their paper to print the tix.

How ridiculous to have to go through all this just to get what you paid for.

My uncle works for the company who prints all of ticketmasters tickets, who isn't ticketmaster, so the tickets go through another loop as well.

I just got my tickets from the gnr.com today in the male for the Mil. Wi show.  Which is weird because I didn't get my Chicago tickets first, but paid for them first? I dunno, but I got them, they came in a plain white envelope that didn't say anything from what company.  Just a P.O Box return address and a "return service requested" on there.  I know I'm fuckin happy!!!     :peace: ;D

I ordered my tickets through www.gunsnroses.com all on the same day,(before they re-directed you to ticketmaster) for the chicago show, milwaukee and Minnesota shows.

I just got my tix today for the milwaukee one. Still waiting on the other two.

Finally got my tickets today for the Portland, Maine show which is just a week from tonight.  They were postmarked this past Friday with a return address of a PO box in Concord, CA & are printed on Ticketmaster stock.

Amazing..you never got a confirmation email after placing your order...that's modern day technoloyy for ya...just as long as you know your order was placed and not lost somewhere.

Yeah. I don't think they have their shit together over there at Tickets.com. When I ordered my tickets, I printed the "confirmation page" that appeared at the end. That page said I'd be getting a confirmation email as well, but I printed just in case. Good thing I did! I never got that email. I ended up calling them and getting a re-send as well.

My company is having a party tomorrow night and we are raffling off TONS of prizes.....one of them is two luxury box tickets to GNR at MSG.  The tickets are just sitting on a table a few feet from my desk.  this is just torture.  i should swap my crappy tickets for those - who would know? haha

I've never been in a luxury box but I imagine they aren't that great for hardcore fans - far away from the energy and atmosphere. You probably get a great view and waitress alcohol service I guess, don't think I'd take it for a GNR show though.

Way too soon?  The first LA show is less than 3 weeks away.  Tickets.com sent out some other cities a little over 3 weeks prior, so I thought it was reasonable to think LA would be the same.

Just got my Dec 17th tickets.

I just got a email from GunsnRoses.com saying I can pick up my tickets to the Everett show at will call.  WHAT THE FUCK !!! I ordered these tickets back in Sept and for two months they can't run a business (TICKETS.COM) and mail the stupid tickets out.  The reason im so angry is because my grandma bought them for me as a Christmas present cause she knows how much I like the band and there under her name cause she used her credit card.  SO she called Tickets.com and they put them under my name BUT IF THEY CAN'T MAIL OUT SOME FUCKIN PIECE OF PAPER WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT THEY WILL PUT MY NAME ON THE TICKETS !!! basically never do business them THEY SUCK !!! im worried THAT I GO DOWN THERE AND THEY WILL HAVE HER NAME STILL ON THERE.

Anyway I have a ticket to the Rose Garden Show so if all goes wrong I have that as a back up.

I'm in the same situation GNR4L, and i'll go friggen nuts if my tickets don't have my name on it. I've called tickets.com and got some bubblehead who didn't know what the hell was going on, but told me that my name would be on the tickets. Still it's really risky to go to Everett and hope that my name is on the tickets, not my mothers.

ATTENTION: For those who have had family members pay with their Credit Cards ect. ?Obiviously call Tickets.com ( whoever is on the billing statement)

A. Have them switch your name on the tickets.

B. Call either Wed Thur or Fri and confirm that Tickets.com have changed the name on the tickets.

C. Hopefully everyone printed off there order/confirmation sheet from your email bring that along.

D. See if you can get your parents grandparents ect credit card and bring it with you just incase. ?BRING YOUR CELL PHONE TOO SO WILL CALL CAN TALK TO THE PERSON WHO ORGINALLY BOUGHT THE TICKETS INCASE Tickets.com don't change it ( I DON'T TRUST THEM).

HOPEFULLY EVERYONE WILL GET THEIR TICKETS AND HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE.

Why not buy them through Ticketmaster???  I got mine twice a couple months ago. San Diego show still over a month away.  They had to mail me new ones cause floor changed to G.A.

Im thankful to Gn'R for making this pre-sale thing happen, but going through tickets.com came with more bullshit than needed, and I for one wont use them again, Gn'R endorsed or not.

Im guessing teaming with ticketmaster to make this happen, would cost far to much?

I called tickets.com today about my Oakland ticket and they said they still haven't been printed yet.  They said to call if they aren't there by wednesday and they will be at will call.  The only thing that sucks is that I paid like $20 bucks for the shipping.

What a joke.  I had the same issue with the Oakland tickets.  I have to pick them up at will call as well.  They got 20$ for doing absolutely nothing.
